An Environmental Catastrophe. A World in Darkness.

Emily wakes to find the world has plummeted into darkness -- clouds have spilled out of the sky and taken the sun.

And there is more to the mysterious fog. The mist is poison, killing everything in its path. Emily's home is no match for the caustic fog, and her family is suddenly on the run for safety.

But when Emily learns that the machines built to save the world could be the cause of the accident, she turns to her father, Phil Stark, the original architect, hoping they can stop the environmental catastrophe.

This book is a 5 star because of the person, oh yeah, I mean character Emily! She rightfully stole the book by being the one to look up to, to follow, to obey, to listen to, and to love! She is an awesome 16 year old living in a most gruesome world to have to face daily with no sun for decades! Help! But yet she keeps every one going on and on, and day after day! And besides that, no parents! Her mother died from the poisoning outside and her dad , at first thought to be dead but then not really reachable when he does show up, that's all I say about him! Emily and Justin (her bro) stick together! ENDURE = EMILY. Please read the book of you like futuristic reads and teen/adult I believe you'll really enjoy this action packed story with LOTS OF TWISTS AND TURNS PLUS ACTION until near the ending. Then you get a jump of about 50 years and she tells you about her life now!

Pretty good. it took me a little bit to get use to th writing style not sure why it seemed different to me. you don't get much information about what the machine actually was suppose to do or why it was happening. the ending was like 50 years later and you get snippets of things that happened in between but that's it. hopefully they will be addressed later in the series. I'm reading on Kindle unlimited so I will continue it now.

Non Stop Thrills

Bought this on a whim. Love "earth in ruins/survival" type books. This one started with major action on page one and never stopped. Twisted ending I wasn't expecting, but piqued my interest more than enough to co tiniest the series.

Bad

Must be a young writer or a computer software program. Nothing in this book is smart, believable or correct. I could not get into this book. From the beginning to the end was off.
