Chele {Shell} is in love with love, mysteries, spirituality and time twists, and because "life's a sitcom," she is a sucker for comedies. She loves adding humor and mystery to any situation and genre.

She enjoys the wild ride of writing "off the cuff," not knowing exactly where the 'what ifs" will take her. You'll often find her nestled in the breakfast nook overlooking a woodsy Massachusetts view with her golden retriever and a mug of decaf-- if it's not waiting under the brewer for hours, forgotten as usual. Add snow and writing chocolate: Perfect!

When not immersed in imaginary characters, Chele is a pharmacy technician and college writing tutor. She loves going to movies and plays, traveling to new places, and thinks any day is Taco Tuesday.

Besides mystery and romance, she writes contemporary and speculative fiction, short stories, poems, and spiritual fiction and nonfiction.
In the works are several romantic comedies, and a sequel to Behind Frenemy Lines.

This book was a joy to read. The short stories have a magical twist to them which I enjoyed. I particularly enjoyed the second short story Parlor Game where a couple attends a party to play a magical game involving a book. I really liked the way this story used the character's love of books to sort out his own life where the parlor game was concerned. Epochracy Files was a great read. I recommend it.

Chele Pedersen Smith has dished up ten delicious and original Twilight Zone type tales, each one unique and thought provoking. Her sly humor—in both plot and word choice—kept me chuckling. The snappy dialog made me want her characters to keep talking and had me wishing I could talk like that. Through it all, Chele weaved in some important life lessons—making her book an even more satisfying read.

These short stories are so fun and creative. They all take you out of this world and leave you with such joy. I loved how well written this was and the style was so beautifully done. Each story brings you something different and unique.

This is a fun anthology of short stories set in different era's. I liked them all, but most notably Ed's quest in a fantasy book in Parlor Game; truths told in The Museum of Lost Hearts by Michael R Young, where a lot is learned about love, past present and future; Time Hop poses an interesting theory and would make an incredible book if it's own; and Chronicle of the Century is amazing with the girls solving a century old mystery that could end up saving the planet.

Fun way to pass the time. Short stories that are creative and easy to read through in a short sitting. I'm not a short stories fan but I enjoyed Cheles adventures. I particularly likes Gas Station Time Machine. Liked the little romantic notes in it.

Interesting book with quirky tales. It's a fast read and the tales are reminiscent of Twilight Zone. Science fiction readers will appreciate these out of this world stories.

Cut through the red tape of time travel with The Epochracy Files! Quirky quests....Eclectic eras...where will the time twists take you next? With an edge of the Twilight Zone, ten tales tweak the realms of time and place.
Since I wrote the book, of course I think it is pretty good, but there is even a story contributed by fellow writing friend, Michael R. Young called, "High on a Hill," where as a lost soul, he meanders a museum's weird wing and discovers an unexpected exhibit--and answer to life's pondering.
I spent a lot of time on each story. So much so, the futuristic time capsule mystery, "Chronicle of the Century," kept expanding and spawned into its own novella, available now with a brand new YA cover.
A "Gas Station Time Machine" landed in its place--better hope you have enough fuel to survive the legion of strange Gigi conjures when she runs out of gas! A few other pieces now stretch the pages and add to the dimensions too.
