This little ebook doesn't really contain much you wouldn't find on the Minimalist subreddit, where the author posted, requesting reviews. However this is me speaking as a practicing minimalist; a newbie may get more out of it. It's intended as a simple starting point for people interested in the lifestyle, but some of her suggestions are vague or require more guidance. For example, telling people to appreciate their things and detach from sentimental possessions - yes, but how? And what is actually achieved by clearing a messy desk and smiling to yourself besides an ephemeral feeling of relief? You still need to declutter that stuff and work out a plan to keep it that way.

Probably would have been better off as a blog post, but it's only a dollar.

The book in itself is minimalist by giving straight to the point information without superfluous details!
