The book is a great read. It is an essential guide especially for youth in their 20s/30s trying to find a firm footstone in today's dynamic world. I loved the consiseness of the author- the points were not overflogged. I pray that Allah SWT reward the author for onerous efforts and give us(the youth) to act upon the recommendations.

Basically i found the book to be a self help/advice for every single man out there.
The writer identifies 11 prerequisites and 33 advices/steps of becoming a ideal/better man.
The writer employs a great method of first identifying what the prerequisites are, why they are important, how they work and finally providing a solution/howto if you do not possess these prerequisites.

For those entering adulthood, and those that need a guide on how a real Muslim man should behave, this book will provide him most of which he needs to know. Even knowledgable ones in Muslim Ethics and behavior will not cease to benefit. Young adults, in their 20's, must all read this book.

A booklet that you should gift to every teenager(also adults) male around you! Muslim or Non-Muslim!

The style of author is modern(not so academic), concise, rhetorical (where needed). I am specially impressed by his style when looking in the context of genre of the book. As the book is for young boys, the use of satire, bit of slang, and brutal honesty penetrates the message directly into mind and soul, shaking the ego/ghayra.

The chapters comprise of 11 essential points and 33 additional points to perfect the personality (making total 44).

These points range from personal-mindset growth to social interaction & manners. In short, a complete guide to set the base of personality.

There were some points that were totally new for me and some that added new knowledge to previous known manners, such as having a dependable transportation, a comfortable home, basic understanding of fiqh, how to host and be a guest, and an exposition on giving and receiving gifts.

Recommended for all males.

I would like to share my thoughts on a book that I recently read. In my opinion, the book has been written in a very modern and easy-to-understand language, without any complex sentences. The book is about the guidance of how a Muslim man should be, and it has been authored by Tayamullah Abdur-Rahman.

The author has explained 11 prerequisites in a very eloquent way, highlighting their importance, how they work, their benefits, and what if a person lacks them. Moreover, the author has also added 33 more guidelines to help a Muslim man become a better version of himself. While reading the book, I felt that these are the points that our elders often remind us of and emphasize so that we become overall good Muslims.

I highly recommend this book to every Muslim teenager and adult as it is a self-development book that can help us grow and become better versions of ourselves.

This book tries to rejuvenate the idea of masculinity according to Islam as understood by the prophets and the salaf. Out of the 44 points the author highlights, 11 of them are termed as "essential" and the rests as suggestions, all according to evidences found in Quran and Sunnah.

In a time, where the society is split into two of the extreme with regards to the role of men: oppressive masculinity and liberal radical feminism, this book comes as a breath of fresh air. Although I would prefer a more detailed and extended version, this book is a step in the right direction.

Allah made men the leaders, be that of country, society or the smallest unit: family. The position of authority, comes with the burden of responsibility and accountability. Responsibility of leading and enforcing according to quran and sunnah, and the accountability in the day of judgment in front of Allah about his followers if they fall into sins. The masculine nature of men, if honed properly according to islam allows a man to properly carry this heavy duty. I hope more books like this are written in future adhering to the 21st century problems and circumstances.

I had really high hopes for this book, but what I mostly came across were general guidelines. Unfortunately, it didn't dive deep into the "44 ways to manhood." However, I did find the initial section quite valuable, especially when it delved into establishing the "why."
