Caleb
As a teenager, I learned firsthand how untrustworthy and cruel a woman could be. She destroyed me from the inside out and took everything from me. The first chance I got, I ran and have been running from my past ever since.

Until I met Hayley. She's a complete game changer.

She's everything I never thought a woman could be. She's honest and sincere and completely selfless, and by some miracle, she's fighting for me. I'm learning, if I want to keep her, I'm going to need to find the courage to fight for usinstead of finding the strength to run.

I have been waiting for what feels like forever for Calebs story! To finally hear what he keeps locked up so tight inside.
And OH MY GOSH, Nikki Ash did NOT disappoint at all with this one. I was absolutely blown away, holding my breath and in tears for him throughout the whole story.
And Hayley I've seriously waited for her to get her crush since book one. I was like cheering for her! I love her character so much, and to see her finally give up and back off was just sad. But for her to finally get her time and for her to fight so hard for him was truly amazing to follow.
There was points where I thought I was going to be heartbroken for both Caleb and Hayley, but in the end they were just so fun to read about!!

⭐️ 5 "Finding a Home" Stars ⭐️
For the last week or so, I’ve been hooked on the Fighting Series! These characters are captivating and Caleb was without a doubt a hero I wanted to discover more about. Since the start of the series, he’s been an enigma that I wanted to solve. He’s really closed off and I couldn’t wait to see the development of his romance with Hayley. Nikki Ash captured my heart wholly with Fighting for your Touch. This heartfelt story that gave me all the feels! Not only Caleb and Hayley’s romance was exquisite, but the relationship they build with Marco was adorable and poignant!

Right from the prologue, I was shocked and disturbed by Caleb’s past that was revealed. I was hurting for him and understood more about his actions toward Hayley and women in general. It was a fascinating process to watch him slowly become entranced by the girl and accept these conflicting emotions. Hayley, with her patience and understanding, became a great friend to him. The underlying attraction in every scene between them was combusting. Their romance was breathtaking and inspiring!

One aspect I enjoyed about this book is the suspense surrounding Marco and his home situation. He’s truly a special child, acting like a grown up at times to survive. His beautiful relationship with Caleb and Hayley had me smiling and crying from its beauty. They all share such an exceptional connection!

I couldn’t have asked for more with this story that is so far my favorite in the Fighting Series. From sweet, to emotional, to steamy, Fighting for your Touch had me totally charmed! These books only keep getting better and I’m now so ready for Ashley and Kaden’s story!

My Review

My thanks go to the author for this advanced reader copy.

I've read the previous books in the series and enjoyed them, so i was really looking forward to reading this installment. It did not disappoint and I have to say that I think this is the best one yet.

In the previous books there were hints that there was more than meets the eye with Caleb and now we find out why he's so aloof and standoffish with Hayley.

Hayley really likes Caleb BUT he's treated her like a tag-along and someone he has no time for that she has finally realised that it may just be better to move on. Even if she cannot turn her feelings off.

Caleb has a trust issue, he believes all women are after one thing and can't be trusted and so he does the only thing he can think of and stays away from them all. Trouble is there's a certain woman who swoops in and slowly tries to change his opinion and his heart.

When an incident occurs, putting him out of action he has to learn to put his faith in Hayley. He wants to be able to put his issues aside and trust her but initially is wary. He knows he's attracted to her but to completely put his faith in her is going to be a test. However, as Caleb and Hayley spend time together, their feelings develop and they begin to fall in love.

Can they move forward or will old issues arise that may hinder their relationship? That's the million dollar question.

I really enjoyed this book, out of all three books so far, this has to be my favourite. The author touches on very real issues and I was pleased that it wasn't the normal take on how a victim is perceived. It wasn't stereotyped and I liked that. It was different and it read that the author had done her research and touched upon these issues appropriately and delicately.

I cannot wait for the next in the series. This is one author to watch out for.

Happy Reading :-)

Nikki Ash is quickly becoming one of my automatic go to authors!
I was so excited for Caleb and Haylie's book. I had a feeling it was going to be highly emotional, and boy was it ever. We start out meeting teenage Caleb. He's angry, with every right to be. He finally has had enough of a terrible home life, and walks out leaving everything he's ever known behind. Fast forward to to the present and Caleb meets Haylie when she starts working as the resident doctor at Cooper's gym. She was smitten and so was he, but Caleb had quite a few trust issues.
I absolutely loved this book! It's my favorite of the series so far. My heart absolutely broke for Caleb, and the pieces were put back together as Haylie broke down Caleb's walls. I finished the book a couple of days ago, and I'm still thinking about it. Now it's onto Kaden and Ashley in August! I can't wait!

How the hell Caleb is still a fully functioning human being is beyond me. After going through what he did as a teenager...WOW. And then to go on and become the caring, kind and compassionate man he is, well he could just about be my hero!

This book for me broke my heart over and over and over again, and at some points I had to put it down and just take a second. It seemed no matter how much Caleb and Halyey fought just to be together and build a life with love and laughter, someone was always waiting in the shadows to destroy it all.

The way they both fell in love and took in the scared and alone Marco and how he adapted to his new life was inspiring!

Can't wait to see how Nikki devastates me with the next book!

Loved it!

Caleb has to be me favorite so far out of the books in the series.I felt bad for Hayley and Caleb in the book. Hayley crushed on Caleb and made her feelings known , but Caleb couldn't reciprocate because of secrets from his past. As the book goes on and Caleb is able to let his guard down ,his and Hayley's chemistry together will burn your kindles it is so hot. I liked how we get caught up with the characters from the first 2 books. The characters all get along like they are family even though they are all friends or work together. I like books that you feel like you are in the book with the character's and this author is good at writing her books so you feel that way.

BANGOR BELLE BOOK BESTIES

I received an arc copy of this book in return for nothing but an honest review.

This is the third book in this series and i have to say i think it is also the best!!

We have been introduced to Caleb in the first two books and i really needed to know more, this man is so deep you just know there is so much to his story. Haley has had a crush on Caleb for so long but would he ever open up? He’s a loner and really doesn’t share much of himself and it takes a sweet little boy in a bad situation to really bring out what an amazing heart is hiding inside Caleb. However for me Haley’s loyal friendship and her steadfastness really got me captivated on this push and pull romance, and it didn’t take long for me to be hooked and fully invested in this couples relationship and rooting for them. But can they overcome so many issues of trust, faith, even though their attraction to each other is obvious and their draw to each other is smoking hot !!!

This author doesn’t disappoint. She writes super characters that are so easy to indentify with and easily makes you feel like you know them. At times your heart will be in bits and times for laughs. She gives us super writing with sensitivity to issues that are difficult emotionally. What you wont be able to do is set the book down, what you will be able to do is to really enjoy this story from beginning to end !!

Nikki Ash has been one of my favorite Authors since I started reading her books! I love her stories, and how she brings the characters to life! She makes you feel like you are a part of their story. And Nikki also brings back all the characters from the previous book, so you can keep up with how they are doing.

These are the types of stories that I love and where I get the attitude of...NOT wanting to be bothered by anyone! NO! I am NOT cooking tonight, nor cleaning! Fend for yourselves! And if I could, I would call off work too! I just want to pick up my Kindle and read -LOL

Fighting for your Touch - Book 3 - was heart wrenching!
Poor Caleb with his struggles. The things he endured from his childhood, and the fight to make a comeback from it...And than you have poor Hayley losing hope of ever being with him!

Fighting for your Touch and the other 2 books in this series - "Fighting for a Second Chance" and "Fighting with Faith" - ARE a MUST read too!

Can't wait for book 4!!

This book was really good. I read it as a stand alone with out reading the first 2 with no difficulty.

Meeting Caleb was gut wrenching with emotion. The life he had, the life he lives not wanting to rely on anyone because they lie or leave or both. Especially women. Hayley has the patience of a saint as far as I can tell. She knows what she wants and she waits patiently, sort of, for things to work themselves out. They have a great circle of friends as well!

I love the dynamics of the relationships. I was left wanting to wish and hope for Caleb, even though he wan't interested. I wanted to point Hayley in the right direction, she did a great job on her own, mostly. There were a lot of unexpected things that I thought made this a complex story that isn't all rainbows and butterflies (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Nikki did a great job on the story line and with the characters, all of them. I will have to go check out the other books in this series, I really want to get to know the other people that are part of Caleb and Hayley's world.

Trauma and Healing

Nikki Ash Fighting bk 03 Fighting for Your Touch

From the beginning of the series, we've seen Caleb Michaels struggle with relationships, especially where females are concerned. I knew something bad happened, but I wasn't prepared for just how bad it was. If you have triggers related to sexual assault, proceed with caution. Things are off-screen but that doesn't diminish the impact.

Fast forward several years. I really feel for Hayley Roberts. Having a crush on someone that you have great chemistry with but he gives off serious keep away vibes bites.

Caleb: You should come home.

Hayley: Everything okay?

Caleb: Yeah, but we need to talk.

Hayley: About what?

Caleb: About the fact that I saw you calling out my name while fingering yourself in Boulder, yet you’re on a date with a guy who isn’t me.

I love when Caleb starts to put trust in her and lets himself feel. Sure, he has setbacks, but it's to be expected.

The way they both are with Marco is sweet and endearing. I love how quickly their friends and family welcome into their lives. 🥹🩵

I read along with the audio book. One thing that I really like about Nikki's audio books is that she uses different narrators for each book in the series, making it easy to binge if you so desire. In this case, the narrators are Lexi Evans and Vincent Skye, both of whom I enjoyed. 🎧

This book has so much heart! It had healing, love , pain and fun all packed into one story. Each new book in this series has just exceeded my expectations.

I am sad that I have a few more the before I can read the next book. I have definitely found a new one click author!

I've enjoyed the other books In this series and I was looking forward to reading Caleb's story as I always felt there was to his story than we knew.
From the start we are thrown back into his past and it broke my heart and made me angry in equal measure. Hayley is intriqued by Caleb and would love to get to know him better but for some reason he treats her like an afterthought as if she doesn't really matter, so she decides to move on its just a pity no one told her heart. Then something happens that makes him realise that Hayley is worth taking a chance on but can they get past his very real hangups and distrust of women.
I enjoyed the story, it is multi layered with quite a lot going on but it is easy to follow, we catch up with the characters from the previous books and I really enjoyed getting to know Caleb and Hayley better.

Since I read the first book in this series, I've been in love with this author. I am in love with characters in her her books and the chemistry the all have. Caleb and haley's story was nothing short of that.

Caleb had a hard life as a teenager and in turn that mad him not trust woman and steer clear of them.

Haley has had a crush on Caleb ever since she first saw him but she has stopped making advancements at him because he just doesn't want her.

There relationship starts of rocky and uncomfortable. As the months go on they get closer and they start to realize that they need each other and that they can't be without one another.

This book has all the feels and it's a tear jerker. Have tissues on hand when you read this book.

Can't wait for you next release.

Caleb is a broken man. And he's an MMA fighter. He's been through hell and back and nobody should ever have to see the darkness that he has seen. It takes somebody really special and selfless to bring him back into the light where he belongs. That person was Hayley. Tired of always being pushed away, she accepts a platonic relationship with Caleb but that doesn't stop her from wanting him. There are so many twists and turns in this book, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. And it was extra steamy. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good, strong, heroine and a shattered man she is just itching to piece back together.

Fighting for Your Touch by: Nikki Ash

I have been waiting for this book and was not disappointed. Caleb has always been my favorite and knew his story was going to different than the rest. I have loved everything I have read so far by Nikki and will continue to read her books. She is amazing and makes you feel like you are a part of the story. You will fall in love with the characters and not want their story to end and Thank God, we get to keep following them all throughout the other stories.
Caleb has a broken soul and you are dying to know his story from the beginning. He doesn’t open his heart to anyone and it breaks your heart to see him struggle with finding love and always being the loner. He is always there for his friends but hides away from letting Hayley or anyone get to know him. He loves kids and it amazes you to see that side of him and know he has so much to give if he will just let Hayley in.
Hayley is a super sweet woman who is looking for love and hoping to find the man of her dreams. She is honest, sincere and selfless. She has feelings for Caleb but he keeps pushing her away and she is not sure if she should keep trying or give up and move on.
Then the accident happens and Caleb must learn to put his faith in others and let Hayley help him get back to being able to fight again. Will his past be too much? Will Hayley be just what Caleb needs to move forward?
ONE-CLICK this one and be prepared to fall hard for Caleb and Hayley. Just be prepared for a roller-coaster ride with your emotions and for the author to touch on some serious issues that will open your eyes. I love this entire series. I can’t wait for Kaden and Ashley because this one is will have a mystery side to it as well and we will get to see where everyone else is along the way.

Nikki Ash writes one incredible story filled with heart wrenching moments! In Fighting for your Touch, Ash finally gives us Hayley and Caleb’s story. We originally met them in the beginning of the Fighting series as friends of both Liz and Cooper in Fighting for a Second Chance. We got even closer to Caleb in Ash’s second book, Fighting with Faith when he became the trustworthy guy pal to Kayla. To say I’ve been waiting to find out what makes Caleb tick would be an understatement. From the beginning I was rooting for Hayley to land her crush.

Ash doesn’t hesitate to bring on emotional depth to her characters. With Caleb she basically brought the depth of the Grand Canyon to this UFC Fighter. He is broken in so many ways. Estranged from his only living relative, Caleb is a loner to the core. Until a sweet little boy in a bad situation worms his way into his heart. Marco begins the change in Caleb, however it's the silent, understanding friendship of Hayley, the gym’s doctor that really gets under Caleb skin. Their push and pull of romantic feelings had me up until the very early morning hours reading. I was rooting for them, begging for Ash to give them a happily ever after. As with all great romantic reads there were bumps along the way, heart ache and happiness, Fighting for your Touch held strong and captivated me until the very end. To date, this is my favorite story Ash has written. I absolutely can’t wait to see if we get Ashley and Kaden’s story very soon.

Now, I know you are probably wondering, “Do I need to read the first two in this series to read this one?” Nope! However, Ash writes some incredibly moving, emotional stories that just hit your soul with love and happiness. So go ahead, one click those along with Ash’s newest addition, Fighting for your Touch.

OH what a storyline this book has. It’s so touching and heartwarming that it just reached down and grabbed ahold of my heart and refused to let go. The author has done an amazing job of creating characters that you just want to grab in a big hug and let them know it’s going to be ok. Characters that seem so true to life that you can’t help but feel like you know them personally.

Caleb is an amazing caring man that has had so much heaped on him starting at the young age of fifteen that it’s no wonder he doesn’t love or trust women. As as young adult Caleb follows his dream and moves to Vegas to train to become a UFC fighter. Still not trusting women he spends all his time training as well as working with younger kids at the gym. He even takes one of the inner city kids, Marco, under his wing to mentor him.

In walks Hayley, the sports doctor for the gym, a woman Caleb is attracted to but just can’t let go of his past experiences to act on his feelings. Hayley is also attracted to Caleb but when he doesn’t appear to return those feelings she hopes to at least be his friend (of course Hayley has no clue what Caleb’s life was like before moving to Vegas). When trouble finds Marco and Hayley, Caleb is forced to be around Hayley more. Can this be the start of his healing process or just another situation he has to live through? I can’t recommend this book enough. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars I most definitely would. 2 Thumbs up for a wonderfully written book with a phenomenal storyline. Grab this one up… you won’t be sorry.

4.5!

Caleb and Haley HAVE MY HEART. This is the couple I never knew I needed.

After meeting both in the first two preceding books I sensed a romance brewing with all the little hints Haley threw Caleb's way expressing her interest. However, he doesn't make it easy and rejects any and all advances time after time. The rejection is discouraging at first, but once Caleb opens up about his past & truth she understands that everything he does is for a reason.

This couple is made up of the most SELFLESS, loving, and nurturing people. Suddenly becoming roommates, friends, and foster parents to Marco, they effortlessly fall into each other's lives and realize that they are made for one another.

I love how Nikki implements the past into the present chapters giving the full flashback effect. Once again, she perfectly depicts a found family dynamic with strong relationships and kids. The kids steal the show every time.

Heart-warming story!

Everytime my book hero or heroine gets their vindication and the bad guys get their comeuppance, I feel like the world is such a better place. Now, just because the wrong has been made right, that doesn't mean that the battle is over. There are still wounds that need to heal. And the battle will never be easy.

Prepare yourself for a bumpy ride with this story, as there could be triggers or something. I figure this is not the kind of story that is easy to write about, but the emotion with which this was written is beautiful. Honestly, I have no triggers, but this story really broke my heart in some parts. You have to read this and you'll understand why!

Wow
Hot and sexy. Loved Caleb and Hayley.

I am addicted to this series! I have only read a couple of books that take place in the fighting world, but this group of friends is totally binge-worthy. What is really interesting is how the stories overlap. While this series is about a group of people, there are just a few overlapping plot points from one story to the next. While you don't have to have read the first books to understand this one, I'd recommend it just because they were good stories and it catches you up to how the others got together. Haley and Caleb were a lot of fun to read about. There is so much tension. Caleb has such a distressing story that you want nothing more than to hug him (and then see where that leads). Haley is a girl that you totally want to be best friends with. The plot is interesting, the chemistry is off the charts. This is a great series and I definitely recommend if you like your romance extra steamy.
I received a copy for review; this does not change my opinion.

4.5 stars! This book is Caleb and Hayley's story. Caleb is a character you just want to know more about. Caleb is quite, mysterious and a loner. I found out really quick that Caleb does not trust women which stems from his childhood. Hayley has had a crush on Caleb for a while. After, some spilled coffee and another man moving onto Haylee, Caleb realizes he wants to try for more than just friends. Its not easy for Caleb to let go of his past.
I was really glad to get more of the other characters from the previous books in the series. I'm so excited to read more books in this series.

Oh gosh!!! I had been waiting anxiously for this one to come out. When I received an ARC I dropped what I was reading to be able to read Fighting for your touch!! Absolutely loved this book! I had fallen in love with Caleb since book 2 and I was an emotional reck/ His love for Hayley was always there he just needed a little push to know what he had right along with him. Hayley's natural motherly love towards Marco and Caleb's fatherly love were the sweetest moments I loved during this book. Thank you for such an amazing story Nikki Ash!

third book in the series and I was really looking forward to getting the scoop on this couple - since its been hinted at in the background for a few books. Once again I like the overall dynamic, the group of friends and getting everyones lives continuing on.

But I did not love this story. I rarely enjoy a storyline of parental sexual abuse - typically there has to be some good back story and healing to make me ok with it and even reading it - this one was tough and at times awkward. All of the books in this series have been a good form of instant love...although it is over a period of months. I'm at the point where the healing part of the journey just didn't solidify for me. Because these are shorter books, it's harder to get to the good feels place if there is so much going on - the romance, the abuse, the healing, and fostering of kids, forming new families, bad guys after you - it's a lot for a little story!!

Review by Country Gals BOOK Blog

Caleb has struggled to move on from his horrendous past. But no matter how hard he tries, Hayley affects him more than he'd like to admit. She's a woman and she can't be trusted, right? Hayley has decided to move on from her fantasy of anything happening with Caleb. But when the unexpected happens, can she come out unscathed or will she forever be Pinon for the one man she could never have?

Hayley and Caleb's story spins off from the first two in the series. We've seen Caleb run for the hills to avoid Hayley and watched as Hayley hurts by his blatant rejection. When these two are stuck together by a boy whose life is turned upside down and Caleb needing a place to stay that's "cripple" friendly, their attraction that was being pushed down ends up creeping around the corner and slowly pulling these two together. I love the authors writing style and this series. I especially love how much her characters differ and how each has their own happenings going on. I've wanted to know Caleb's issue since he was first introduced in a previous story. I rooted for Hayley to find happiness. And the story pulls at your heartstrings for these two as they navigate Caleb's past and Marcus, the child who's stolen our hearts, life without his mom and threats against them. I was glued from the first page and couldn't put the book down. This was another great love story. Can't wait to see whose next.

They say love conquers all. But is it really that simple? Is it always enough?

Caleb has some deep seeded trust issues, and when you find out the core cause of them, you won't blame him for a second. This is more than a boy scorned. I actually wanted to give him a hug. The only women he trusts are his two best friends' significant others. No other woman is to be trusted.

That is, until Hayley changes the game. But Caleb has no idea how deep his issues actually go. Something so terrible he's afraid the truth will make her run.

I absolutely couldn't put this down! I was torn between wanting to know how it all unfolded and never wanting it to end.
