I liked this book. Mallory was a private investigator. She was a strong women and could fight off any man. She meet this man named Bobby and was starting to fall for him. They spent time together a few days a week. After a few months she ended up finding him dead on the street. She was heartbroken and decided she was going to do her own investigation into his death. She then finds out he was married with kids and his mom lived not far from her. She heard humors that he was a drug dealer which she hated. But in her continued search she come across more than she ever thought she would. She was told to back off and mind her won business. But she didnt. Cant say anymore as I will ruin all the exciting part in the later part of the book.

Great detective thriller

This main character was some tuff cookie. She was a real bad ass but also vulnerable. The story was a good mystery too. Would definitely recommend this author.

Unfortunately Mallory’s boyfriend had a lot of secrets that he kept from her. When he’s murdered she investigates and finds out things she didn’t expect. When she’s attacked she realizes that there was more to his life.
