I received this book for an honest review.
*Snort* Yes I am still laughing at this book. I mean if you like funny and insane then this my friends is a book for you. I mean the first chapter had me LAUGHING so hard and out loud. It’s an over the top yet so much fun read. I think that if you enjoyed Tara Sivec’s writing then you will need to read these as well!
Erica, the main character is soo me….packing on a few pounds and hating the way she looks she decided to go to the gym. Holy Mother of God who is the work out sadist…errr…coach?? Why yes hottie from high school Zach that’s who! The banter had me cracking up at parts and laughing so hard. When the two are flirting and thinking about the good old high school days there is a bit of drama which causes Erica and Zach to spend more and more time together which makes them become more and more attracted to each other. The chemistry was hot and their relationship was a wild ride. The suspense storyline was good but you can kiiiiiiinda figure it out but the twist we get was something I wasn’t expecting!!
Yes there were times I was gonna vagina punch Erica for letting her insecurities push Zach away and same to him with a solid nut punch because he would compare Erica to women from his past but generally I loved the two. I laughed so hard and was thrilled when the book 2’s story line started to take shape…man Mason and Shondra are gonna be so much fun to read because he opened his mouth and inserts his foot A LOT around her!! LOL

I absolutely LOVED this book!! Could not put it down or stop telling people to GO READ THIS NOW! It’s a true laugh out loud story with a suspenseful twist that will keep you turning the pages!
Erica has decided that enough is enough and is ready to get in shape…so long as it does not involve running, and she can still eat all the doughnuts and pizza she wants. Armed with this determination, Erica joins the local gym only to discover it is owned and operated by her old school crush, Zack. The sparks fly and the sarcasm flows in this romantic comedy suspense tale! Loved every minute of it!

This being the first book I've read by this author, I must say it's a can't put down book and I very much enjoyed it. Erica Sutton decides she needs to lose some of her "pudgyness" and heads to Workout World. Enter the owner, Zack Sharp, her first love from grade school who is all grown up & hot!!! Their feelings for one another grow quickly & suddenly bad things begin to happen to Erica. Together they determine to discover what's going on. These two characters feel so real and their story has everything you need to keep you enthralled...some suspense, arguments, laughter, sensitive moments & love. I would recommend this story to readers who like romance with these other facets included. The fact that there are two more hot Sharp brothers has you waiting for their stories to come about!!! This is a standalone...no cliffhangers...enjoyable!!!

I loved the characters and the suspense. There were so many tender moments between Zack's son and Erica that were so sweet. Zack is a great dad but also a better boyfriend. He knows all the right things to say to make Erica feel beautiful and sexy just the way she is. And he does a great job of tolerating her morning and sugar deprived grumpiness in the most charming way.
There were some areas where it was confusing who was speaking or how someone got from one spot to another which had me rereading certain passages several times trying to understand the story. In the end, it was worthy it as the story was definitely a good one. The next story is much better so I do highly recommend reading this because it is best to read Burning Resolution first.

Burning Resolution.
Romantic suspense was my go to reading genre for years, but I have most recently gravitated towards more traditional straight-up thrillers, suspense and mysteries. Burning Resolution was a good reintroduction to romantic suspense. The romance and suspense are well balanced and the suspense portion keeps up the tension until the final resolution. The dialogue between the characters was a standout feature. It blends humor, playfulness, snark, and of course, seriousness. This was a very entertaining read.

I really enjoyed this book. The banter between Erica and Zack was hilarious! Especially when Erica wants her pizza, coffee, or donuts ;) I think one of my favorite scenes is when Erica steals the pizza box when Zack tells her she can't have any. It was just so funny. The romance between them was really sweet. The whole no coffee in the morning scene was great too. The author does a great job with dialogue when they bicker over the silly stuff. It was just fun to read.
The side characters were great too. I loved Zack's family, and I'm looking forward to Mason's story next. Jacob, Zack's son, was adorable and I loved how attached he got to Erica. And McFatty....... can't forget McFatty! (He's the cat ;)
Some of the scenes and the bad things that happen to Erica were a little over the top, I like my romances to be somewhat believable, but it worked out well and kept me interested :)
All in all it was a quick read, kept me entertained, and I really liked the characters. This was a great start to the Workout World series :)

From the moment Zack and Erica reconnect at the gym after not seeing each other in the 12 years since high school. I was absolutely hooked. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. But it's not just them being attracted to each other. The banter between them had me laughing so hard. But even in the mist of them falling in love, someone is watching and determined to destroy any happiness they try to find. Zack will do anything to save Erica and his son. T. M. Cromer is a new author but she is definitely worth giving a chance. I don't think you will be disappointed. I can't wait until Mason and Dane books comes out.

OMG! If you have even a tiny pinch of humor in your body, you've got to read Burning Resolution by T.M. Cromer!! Ms Cromer has once again delivered a well written book. Zack and Erica's story is loaded with suspense, spice and fantastic characters. The best part of the book though, to me, is the humor. Even though the book is a romantic suspense, I laughed all the way through. Kudos to Ms Cromer for her magic blend of characters, humor and suspense in this awesome book. Burning Resolution is book 1 in the Workout World Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

They spend time together and end up hitting it off, but Erica finds herself becoming the target of a crazy stalker that threatens her reunion with Zack as well as her life.
Really great story; I enjoyed the characters immensely, loved Erica's spunk, Zack's charm and wit, their banter was terrifically funny. Loved the twists and turns this book took. This is the first story I've read from T.M. Cromer; I'll definitely be reading more!

I literally could not put this book down. It's a good measure of humor, sexual tension, and drama. After Erica makes a New Years resolution to get back in shape she reconnects with Zack, a handsome guy who owns the workout gym. Zack and Erica went to high school together, and secretly liked each other back then, but had lost touch over the years. Someone is watching them get close, and desperately wants Erica out of the picture. T.M. Cromer's "Burning Resolution" will keep you on the the edge of your seat to the very end.

This is my first book I've read by T.M Cromer. I instantly fell in love with Erica's character. She's a fiesty and independent woman. From page one I was hooked. Zack was the last person she was expecting when she decided she needed to start working out. They both have liked each other since they were in school. Little did they know that to get to their happy ending they would have to go through an obstacle standing in their way. This is a book everyone needs to read. I highly recommend!!!

Absolutely loved it! I couldn't put it down. I read it from start to finish! Erica and Zack run into each other after not seeing each other since school. And they fall fast and hard. And Erica ends up with a crazed stalker trying to kill her and Zack tries to keep her safe. Lots of love, suspense, a crazed wackjob, lots of sass, and lots of family! I can't wait for the next one!!!!

LOVE is the word I will use when describing how I feel about this book. It has all of my favorite things; strong and sassy woman, super hot man, halarious one liners and enough suspense to keep you flying through the pages. This book is now on my FAVORITES list hands down. Well Done TM CROMER!!! I can't wait to see what you have in store next!!!

Absolutely loved this book. Every page was a joy to read. The plot, characters, humor, and dialogue flowed so well. Zack and Erica are one of the best couples I have read. Powdered lemon donut anyone? Read this book, you will be happy you did.

OMG I love this book! Laughing in spots having the hubby look at me like "What?" The suspense kept me reading until I read the last word! 2 thumbs up for this book and I will cherish my signed copy :)

I enjoyed this story. Right from the start everything starts going crazy but from there, a love story emerges. I liked the characters and the supporting cast. I will definitely read more of this series.

What a find!
This author.... What a find. I lost sleep, cried, and laughed out loud. I love her characters, the banter and relationship building. Just fabulous.

Erica Sutton is determined to get in shape though she abhors exercising. New Year's day she goes to Workout World that is run by her old high school crush Zack Sharp. He ends up being her personal trainer and wants to spend time with her. A stalker he didn't know that he had started attacking Erica and burns her house down. Until they figure out whats going on Erica stays with Zack were the flames of the stalker is not the only thing heating up. It's an uphill battle to get Erica healthy while keeping her safe from the stalker's clutches.
In an Oyster Shell - It had some pacing issues and technical flaws but had an overall good storyline and lovable characters that made for a good story.
The Pearls - My favorite part of this book was that Erica was a writer. As a growing author myself, I felt like the writer put some valuable nuggets about writing that I could glean from. I love the irony when an author writes about a writer. It's fun and you have to wonder how much of it is a little bit of a caricature of their own life.
The suspense was good. The action was fairly constant. I liked that even though the world was literally burning around them they have a good chance to build a relationship with Zack and his son. The conflict didn't stop the relationship building. If anything it made it stronger.

As a woman who has always struggled with how I see myself, thinking I should be thinner, better or prettier. I cannot tell you how eye opening it was to read Erica's story.
Erica makes a New Year Resolution and heads down to the newly opened Workout World, where she meets her childhood crush Zack.
He instantly feels a pull to her like he secretly did in School.
Watching Erica belittle herself and not believe a man could love her just because he has a six pack and she has curves, just shocked me. I was screaming at her to stop pushing this loving man away and to see he was falling for her. Begging for her to understand her worth and beauty.
But then I stopped and thought, I have definitely spoken about myself that way and I have had people scream at me. This book helped me love myself again and I thank Cromer for her wonderful telling of this story.
It also is riddled with drama, crazy ex's and a lovable family that we will learn more about in the series. I cannot wait for the rest of The Stonebrooke Series

I enjoyed the Characters in this book , Erica Stutton who isn't secure with her weight but makes up for it with witty comebacks and a attitude. Zack Sharp a owner of a workout gym with his brothers sexy Also. Great story that brings these two together when Erica decides to get her self in shape. Zack happens to be her trainer and an crush from school . Unfortunately someone is stalking Zack and Erica finds herself the target of the Stalker.
There is suspense and laughter , tears , and wondering will they make it throught this relationship.

Delightful! Foul-mouthed Erica charmed me from the start; she's such a wonderful blend of sass, stubbornness, and strength. Zack is a wonderful foil, and their interactions feel authentic. The author showcases her deft writing skills in this combination romance/thriller/comedy. The mystery is engrossing and lifted with the addition of lighthearted elements, and the spice is on point! Highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed this book it was very fast-paced exciting mysterious heart stopping and funny. This book had me cracking up at times it was so funny. I love how the author took her time to develop the story and the characters had such great charisma. The characters were well-developed each with their own unique personality. I love how the author shares the closeness of family in the book. The story was very smooth and fast paced and had you guessing until the end. There was even some moments where your heart just dropped and made you wonder what now. Definitely a great book to read if you like mystery, love and suspense. Definitely got to read the next story in the StoneBrooke series. Happy reading!

This is my first book by this author. Although I enjoyed her writing, there were moments in the actual story that broke me from the flow of it. I know we have to suspend some level of disbelief to enjoy fiction, but there were too many points in the story where the severe impracticality of what I was reading caused me to pause.

TM Cromer knows how to write a thrilling love story that keeps the reader engaged from start to finish! I am so glad I finally picked up this story! I can’t wait to read more Stonebrooke tales.

This book ran me through the ringer, from snort laughs, anger at Christie to tears of sadness and joy!! I literally read this book from 7 am til 11:30pm . If I had read the further down description I would have not purchased this book. As it was, I stopped reading on page 8 when the author uses the name of the Lord in vain and went to page 276 to finish the book so I would have an opportunity to give my opinion. This author 's name goes on my do not read list.

Fun, quirky, lighthearted, and sexy. Erika's low self-esteem has pushed her to do something she hates, but she keeps her sense of humour and sharp wit. There's just one problem though, and it could cost Erika her life ...

I loved this book. Within the first 3 pages I was laughing like a loon. This story has it all; romance, drama, angst, comedy, suspense, tenderness, everything you could want in a story. Definitely worth the read. Can’t wait for the next one!
