I don't know how she does it but, Meredith Wild keeps making this better and better!
Paris is the city of Love but for Tristan and Isabella, it is a city of vipers. Tracking down Company Eleven leads them to an astonishing discovery and an old friend into the viper's den.
So much more information that leads to even more of the hideous plans of their nemesis.
Just when it looks like they are bearing down on the information they need, an impromptu rescue must be made and blows the plan all to hell.
Needing more help and info to go forward, the couple heads back to their home turf. Nothing goes as it should and they will need help from someone that Isabel is not sure she can trust. This search is about to grow exponentially!

"I love that you're mine," he whispers. Hearing his truth, I melt a little more. I've always been his. Nothing could ever break us apart. Nothing but death."
Red Ledger part 8 had the high tension situations and life or death situations that we expect to find Tristan and Isabel in. In this one they meet up with an old friend, and they get one step closer to their main target. When things don't go as planned while in Paris they decide they need to head back to DC and but that leads to their current path being torn in half.
"What the hell is a life of death and danger if I can't let myself drown in the woman I love in the spaces between."
Even though I am going to be honest and say I am more than ready for this stories' conclusion, it does continue to be an entertaining read. I live for every memory that Tristan recovers and all the personal moments between him and Isabel. Isabel continues to become more of an asset and less of a liability, even thought she is still internally struggling with the choices she is forced to make.
"Sometimes you have to fight a war to have peace."He squeezes my hand before bringing it to his lips for a gentle kiss. "And to win a war, you have to be ruthless. It's the only way."

Meredith Wild continues to blow me away, just when I think I have figured out some answers, she goes and throws more curve balls that I just don't see coming! With each installment, Tristian and Isabel's story gets even more intense and continues to inch forward on finding out more and more.
Installment 8 lands them in the city of love, Paris. They should be experiencing this city as hopeless lovers, but instead, they are trying to piece things together, trying to figure out a way to take it down what's had them running for so long once and for all. But as they get closer and closer, it takes an unexpecting turn that could potentially ruin them and tear their words to shreds...
Will Tristian and Isabel be able to survive this? Or is it all about to come crumbling down.
This series just keeps getting better. Ms. Wild knows how to keep her readers' attention, she had me holding my breaths, my mind reeling and my butts on the edge of my seat, needing to know more. Just when I thought this couldn't get any better, she goes and proves me wrong. This series is a prime example of why I love this author so much. She wasn't afraid to think outside the box and try something new to her and to her readers. This series is exceptional and I can't get enough! I can't wait to see what she's got up her sleeve in the next installment, one thing I do know is that it is going to be EPIC!

How does this story get better every dang time?!? At some point she won’t be able to top the last part but that has yet to happen. Such an amazing story with the best characters. I can’t get enough of Tristan! If you haven’t started this series yet, I don’t know what’s stopping you. Some of her best work yet.

Once again Meredith Wild has sucked me into Isabel and Tristan’s story then left me hanging! I kept trying to turn to the next page but there wasn’t one! Another amazing installment in the Red Ledger series. I can’t wait for part 9. Loved it!

The adventure continues for Isabel and Tristian and this time, they travel to the beautiful city of Paris, France! They are in Paris to track down more information about what they had found out in Boston. They meet up with old friends who are always willing to help them however they can. They also run into people that they were not expecting to meet face to face and these confrontations doesn't have a beneficial outcome for either sides.
Tristian and Isabel come to realize what they must do when they head back to the US and it doesn't have the exact outcome that each wants but Tristian makes the hard decisions in order to save Isabel.I can't wait for the last part of this crazy adventure but I am also sad that the adventure is ending with Part 9! Hopefully Ms. Wild will bring us more stories of this wonderful couple after the last adventure! This series has been one crazy ride filled with hot romance and so many mysteries with all the twists and turns that you never would have expected. It keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what's really happening and what's coming up!

The Intense mission continues...
I am so in love with this series, and Red Ledger 8 continues the story of Tristan and Isabel in a very fast paced, intense, extremely loving way. Tracking their opponents to the City of Love, there is more danger, more intrigue, and more heartfelt love. Meredith brings the city of Paris alive with her descriptive writing. Edging ever closer to their evil enemies they find themselves caught up in a very intense drama that is heart pounding suspenseful. Tristan and Isabel each are evolving with each new installment and their love is more powerful than ever. There is so much going on in this book, and I was riveted to each page of this story. I cannot wait for the next installment, as I love the intrigue, mystery, thrilling action, and the very delightful love. Meredith has blown me away with each new story in this series.

OMG! Meredith Wild and cliffhangers go hand in hand.
Paris, France is where we find Tristan and Isabel. There to search out the next step in the "Felix" plan. Mateus, one of Tristan's friends, is there to meet one of the "Company" members who is producing the drug.
There is so much intense happening in this book, that I'm truly afraid of saying the the wrong thing. But trust me in this, you really want to read it as part of the Red Ledger Series.
I have to give this no less than a 5 star rating, it was that good!

In this book, we are in Paris and what should be the city of love, turns into the city of cover-ups and blood.
Old faces pop back up and just a few more pieces are falling into place. Tristan is remembering more but the parts he "sees" are not comforting. Isabel is turning into a bada$$ who is putting herself into the crossfire instead of running. This has been one of the stories that have been a long time coming. There are a lot of players, some good, most bad. Old alliances creep into this portion and everyone is working together to bring an end to the Company.
I don't know how this all gets wrapped up in one more book so I am starting to think that maybe this isn't the end. Tristan's brain is still not right. Simon is still on the run. And there is a BIG play coming that may or may not get stopped. UGHHH...so many possibilities and still so many questions. I am ready for the next part now.

Seriously, gang. I know I keep saying this, but this series just keeps getting better, bolder, ballsier, and more amazing. Just when I think I've got this plot pegged, Ms. Wild steers Tristan and Isabel in totally different directions--ensuring I won't be getting any sleep, but a hell of an amazing story.
For Part 8, I was in heaven, since the first two acts of the arc take place in Paris. The author did her homework about the city, capturing its grandeur and beauty without losing sight of the urgent dangers being thrown at T & I. There are explosions, both real and romantic. There are twists, both emotional and situational. Above all, there's a mystery that'll have me anxiously opening part 9 as soon as I possibly can!
The only complaint I have about this entire book is that it's brought me one step closer to the end. I have NO idea how this plot will be wrapped up. We're in the endgame now...and what a wild, amazing ride it's going to be!

Tristan and Isabel are looking for answers, Tristan may have what he needs. Isabel is in the middle of a nightmare and Tristan has disappeared. Meredith has an attention grabber with this one! I started it this afternoon and before I knew it I was finished with it. Cliffhanger yes! Soo good though. Now to wait for the next installment..

More Intriguing
I am really loving where this is going! With each chapter, we are finding more and more about what the Company is doing and who the major players are in the game. Tristan and Isabella are more determined than ever to just end it all so they have a chance at living in peace together. Just when you think they are able to stay under the radar, their plans go down the drain when Isabella is figured out. You still get the action, the thrills and the shock in this part and while the naughty bits are not in this part, it was actually very refreshing to just read about the small things they do that show just how much they love and trust each other. Finally, Isabella played a stronger role and seems to finally be in sync with how Tristan works and not causing any issues herself in the mission. I was surprised by the cliff hanger and now I am just waiting on the edge of my seat for part 9 because I want to know what action they will be taking next!

Wow! Where Red Edger 7 was more about info and moving the story, Red Ledger 8 is allll about the action! It's edge of your seat level excitement. A wild ride on both sides of the ocean, with twists I wasn't expecting and an end I could never have predicted. So much is up in the air after this one and we are left with more questions than answers. I have NO CLUE what is coming next, but man, am I ever enjoying the journey.

Part 8 of this series had so much heart and excitement. Chapters 8 and 9 had me on edge! I was literally holding my breath.
It's amazing to see the emotional growth in Tristan and the heightening bravery of Isabel. They are rubbing off on each other (pun intended) and are quite a pair. With only 1 more installment, we start to see things fall apart among the Company with further intervention by our leading characters.
The Red Ledger Series has been one of the most exciting I've read, probably ever, while still incorporating a binding emotional connection.

Hanging on the edge here! From being in Paris ending up being potentially caught back home, the twists and turns are killing me! They ALL are wanting to put a stop to the blackmailing "Company", who can they trust now? With Isabel's father involved I pray they end up together and nothing more bad happens! Meredith Wild has me hooked so hard, that I about melted when this book ended!

In Red Ledger #8 we find Tristan and Isabel in Paris, the City of Light. But that could not be further from the truth. Tristan and Isabel are getting closer to the darkness of their enemies. Just when they both think they are nearing the finish line to achieve their end game, another stumbling block is hurled into their path. The suspense and intrigue is building to the boiling point.
Isabel's father is now involved in the mix and that opens up another can of worms. Together Tristan and Isabel have a fighting chance to bring this to an end, especially in the love they have for each other but also the strength they are as a couple. I am looking forward to continuing on with Red Ledger #9.

"Paris- the city of lovers is glowing this evening. True, that's because it's on fire. But still, there's l' amour..." ~Hugo
How I wish this was the case for Tristan and Isabel. Instead of dreaming about their future, touring the City of Lovers, having the time of their lives, and relishing in their lovemaking, they're chasing the secret society that has been hunting them since the beginning. Too busy chasing the biggest fish of all, the society has no clue that both Isabel and Tristan are so close to discovering the truth that they can taste it. But when another death and a huge fire force the two of them to pair up with someone from their past, they have to flee the city and the country as fast as they can.
Just when the pair thinks they've escaped trouble, it comes back to bite them where it hurts. And a familiar face comes into the game- one that neither Isabel or Tristan have seen in years. But the only way to go forward is to move in together with agencies threatening to send them backwards and tear their world apart.

This is the penultimate book in the Red Ledger series. Tristan and Isabel have followed the trail to Paris where they discover just how deep and insidious Company Eleven’s plan is. After barely escaping the enemy, who after the loss of one of their key players will be more desperate and determined than ever to eliminate the threat they pose to the success of their scheme, Isabel decides that they have to go back to Washington and reach out to her father for help if they are to stand any chance of thwarting the expected drug shipments. First though, they will have to make it out of the airport.
This has been a fantastic series with so many twists and turns to the plot. The action moves at a tremendous pace and you can take no one or anything at face value. At the end of each instalment the reader is left with more questions than answers but looking back on the series you can see how everything is coming together for the big showdown in the final book but will everyone survive? After everything they’ve been through surely Tristan and Isabel deserve their happily ever after.

I cannot say it enough! The Red Ledger is like watching a movie in my head. The suspense is killing me! The ending just proves that Isabel and Tristan still have a lot of work ahead. I am sucked into this world and curious about the underworld within. The Red Ledger: 8 is a powerful one. There is an edge that will keep you on your toes and gasp out a loud a time or two. I was left with begging for so much more. There are new key players in the game now, and I am sure this will be the game changer! A war awaits...

All I can say is WOW, she has done it again! Meredith, you are a master at immersing your characters in twists and turns at every corner. And in doing so, we the readers are pulled in the same directions. And then what do you do, you give us smiles and the awe-hell fun feelings even though there is no love line in the some of the situation.
The Red Ledger 8 is amazing. It pulls so many pieces from all the other stories together, and introduces a glimmer of hope for Tristan and Isabel...only to have it snatched away...again. I loved it. But what really showed Meredith Wild’s skills the best is how she was able to have so much action one minute and then settle everyone down the next. For a shorter story, this book is packed with action.
I laughed, shook my head, cheered on our heros, and sat there with that funny look on my face as a new corner was turned and new details were discovered. This is Book 8 in The Red Ledger series and for the readers that want to start, you really need to start at the beginning to appreciate what makes this installment so dang good.
Meredith, you brought it with this one dear lady, and I am more than happy to give this story all the stars I can. BUT if I could, I would give more.

I laughed, shook my head, cheered on our heros, and sat there with that funny look on my face as a new corner was turned and new details were discovered. This is Book 8 in The Red Ledger series and for the readers that want to start, you really need to start at the beginning to appreciate what makes this installment so dang good.
Meredith, you brought it with this one dear lady, and I am more than happy to give this story all the stars I can. BUT if I could, I would give more.

Living on the edge and hanging on by a thread are the themes of this new installment of the Red Ledger series. Meredith Wild continues to establish herself as the queen of suspense and intrigue... the way her imagination works is nothing short of Amazing.
Tristan and Isabel race off to Paris, the city meant for Love. While their relationship continues to grow, Paris proves it could be the beginning of the end for them or their mission to stop "the Company". After a simple meeting had more twist and turns then a carnival ride, Tristan and Isabel are in a race for their lives that takes them home to DC ..but that proves to be far from safe. Wild weaves such a tale of intrigue and mystery that you dont even realize you read the whole book in one sitting and one that leaves counting down the days until Red Ledger Part 9. Who will prevail..Good vs. Evil? Will Tristan and Isbel get their HEA?

Paris, intrigue, conspiracy, DC, romance, tension, murder, love. This series is phenomenal. I am team Tristan and I love the relationship that he has with Isabel.
The action is non-stop in the series and in this part. We see some old friends, new(ish) nemesis, and face a new obstacle. MW has a true gift in blending stories and worlds together. To go from a bombing and action to the peace of a church was poignant and well done. The storyline continues to grow in detail and the reflection of the characters is more vivid and captivating. Secrets were revealed and more were covered. Seeing her dad in action was a delight. I loved the ending and can’t wait for part 9!

You are sucked into the world of Tristan and Isabel and there is no escaping. This time you are travelling to Paris.
