Rhonda Lee Carver is one of my go to authors when I want a good story with cowboys or is a western romance. Deegan and Kiersten are so good together. I couldn't put the book down. It's sexy, intense, suspenseful and just plain good! Loved it and HIGHLY recommend it!

If you are looking for a GREAT book to read, this is it!! I have said before that the books in this series keep getting better and better, and well…..its true! This book is now one of my favorites. The Author did a wonderful job with her characters and keeping us up to date with the Cade family.
This book we are seeing what the female Cade is up to, so here is Kiersten Cade. She’s in to catching the criminals like the rest of the family, and she’s the woman in charge. Kiersten may be the one in charge, but she’s had other things on her mind, like family, and at this point in her life who needs a man?!
Deegan Bronx is laid back but has great skills when it comes to catching those bad guys. Deegan gets brought in to a friend’s office to help figure out what really happened with his mistress. This case involves a lot of important people, so Deegan knows he needs a partner that knows their skills to help him. Deegan goes to his boss…. Kiersten Cade. Deegan and Kiersten had a quick fling a few years back and she’s been avoiding him…but he’s bound to make her face him and help him out, and hopefully get her to see how she really makes him feel.
This story has some strong characters and a plot that keeps you on your toes! Hang on for another wild ride with the Cades!

When Deegan Bronx gets escorted to his friend Senator Max Kline's office, he wasn't really sure what Max expected him to do for him. He had an affair with his aide and now she was dead. Apparently Max doesn't believe she killed herself and wants his FBI friend to find who killed her.
Deegan really doesn't want to get involved, but he agrees to see what he can find out. He also knew he wanted the help of his boss Kiersten, she has great profiling skills and he really wants her insight.
There's just one little problem, Deegan and Kiersten had one night together, and it seems neither one of them have forgotten. Well Kiersten has tried to put it behind her by avoiding him.
Deegan manages to get her curiosity up and she agrees to go with him to find the aide's roommate.

Deegan and Kiersten work together and Kiersten is Deegan's boss and because of this, he shouldn't be looking at her like he is. She is the clear definition of off-limits. However he needs her to help on a case that is personal to him.
Kiersten knows working in such close charters with Deegan is a bad idea but as she hears more of the case he is working on, she becomes emotional invested in finding the bad guy.
The two of them work really well together and it was fun to read about them bouncing ideas off each other as they were trying unsuccessfully to avoid dealing with the elephant in the room.
There was many aspects of Deegan that I liked but one of the top ones was his ability to recognize that Kiersten was a force to reckoned with. She could take care of herself and was extremely smart. He never talked down to her. He knew when to assert dominance and also knew when to step back and let her take care of it.
I loved reading about Deegans interaction with her brothers. I wish there had been a little more but I understand that we had a case to solve!

I REALLY enjoyed reading Kiersten and Deegan's story in Taken by the Lawman! It was definitely hot hot hot!
What I enjoyed most about this book is that the story line was different and unique. Kiersten has been attracted to Deegan ever since he began working for her, but as his boss, they both have to fight their attraction to one another as best as they can. The thing is, they had one hot night together when they both caved to temptation, but they've both been pretending it never happened ever since.
Now Kiersten is looking for something better in her life. She wants a baby and is willing to go to any lengths to get that. The men she dates bore her and don't fulfill her in the ways that she needs. And of course she won't admit that Deegan COULD be that man for her.
I also loved the mystery and suspense story line in the book. I had my suspicions throughout and was still surprised til the very end!

This is dramatic, romantic and entertaining. Deegan and Kiersten work at the same place, though they rarely see each other, on purpose. That's because they have avoided each other since they had a one night stand two years earlier. But when Kiersten needs help on an under the radar case, she knows that Deegan is the man she needs to help her. Deegan has always wished that there could have been more between them, and now that she's back in his orbit, he's determined to change her mind about having a relationship. They make a great team, and Deegan is smart, sweet and charming. I really enjoyed reading it.

When a senators aide / mistress ends up dead he ask for his friend Deegan for help to find out what happened and who would kill her. Deegan and his boss Kiersten had a magical night and for 2 years they have fought the attraction and memories of what happened but when they team up to solve a crime will they end up dead?
This book was a page Turner and kept me on the edge of my seat and loved it. The chemistry was off the chart. I found myself cheering when they gave in to each other. Kuddles to Rhonda on another Amazing book.

You really know how to rock my world! Taken by the Lawman is phenomenal. Kiersten is a beautifully independent and head strong woman and Deegan is a bada** in a league all his own. Sexy and strong but also sweet and passionate. Kiersten also happens to kinda be Deegans boss. When a friend needs help and reaches out to Deegan, he agrees to help but is cautious. Deegan decides to go to Kiersten for help on this case and she eventually agrees. Caught up in lies and passion do these two even stand a chance.

Just when you think this series couldn't get any better. Rhonda pulls out all the stops! Kiersten Cade is a strong, independent woman who's baby clock is ticking. She wants a baby and is willing to do whatever she has to, to make that happen. Her plans go awry though when her fellow co-worker Deegan Bronx is running a secret undercover case and she finds out about it. When they begin to work together on the case things really heat up! This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. 5 star swoon worthy!

This book is such an amazing addition to the Lawmen of Wyoming series. I loved Deegan and Kiersten so much. There’s drama, action, romance and of course an HEA Rhonda Lee Carver style. I’m a big fan of her books and she doesn’t disappoint me ever.
Deegan and Kiersten had a 1-night stand 2 years ago. And even though they work together, they never approached the proverbial elephant in the room. But now that Deegan needs help on a case, they are drawn back together and the romantic sparks are flying.
Take a chance on this book, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

"Taken by the Lawman" (Lawmen of Wyoming Book 6) by Rhonda Lee Carver is a great read. I loved Kiersten and Deegan's story. This story is a wonderful addition to this series, packed with romance, action, a close family, humor, passion, and more. I loved getting more of the Cade family, and I can't wait to see what happens next with this family of entertaining characters. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, lawmen, cowboys, close families, and series.

This was such a great read. This book is filled with poignant emotions, humor, sweetness and a lot of heart. Deegan and Kiersten's story quickly pulls you in and captures your heart. I just loved these characters. Deegan was charming and simply an amazing guy. Kiersten was sassy and strong. The sparks, chemistry, banter and connection between these two was pure perfection. A marvelous read that has plenty of drama, action, passion and romance. By my own accord I'm posting a candid review.

Kirsten and Deegan caught my attention right away. In the middle of a dangerous criminal investigation things get crazy and emotions are high. The suspense throughout the book and the magnetic pull between them are both off the hook. I couldn’t put the book down because there was always something happening and I wanted more. Of course, revisiting the other characters from the series is always a bonus treat. Book gifted to me.

Rhonda Lee Carver is one of my go to authors. I know when I see her name on a book it will be a great story. I loved this book. This is well written and the characters are believable. I couldn't put this one down. There are some surprises in this book but I don't do spoilers so you will have to get the book to find out what they are. This one is worth your time and effort. This is an awesome book!!!!

Taken by the Lawman, the sixth book in the Lawmen of Wyoming is an excellent compliment to the rest of the series. The characters were interesting and invited me to get to know them better. The story hooked me from the very beginning and kept me guessing until the end. There were a few twists I just didn’t see coming. Those twists made the story unforgettable! A winner for sure!

Loved reading Kiersten and Deegan's story. Full of suspense, drama and romance! After a one night stand a few year ago, the two never discuss it again...after all she's his boss and it should not of happened in the first place! Now they are working together on a case and the sparks start flying again...great read!

This book has something for everyone. Action, hot alpha male with a strong determined leading lady and great physical attraction. Not every man can handle a "barracuda" but Deegan wasn't just any man. He proved to Kiersten that he was the man for the job in more ways than one.

I loved this book. I was hooked from page one. It was romantic and suspenseful. The chemistry between the characters was off the chart. If you enjoy suspense and plenty of plot twists, then this book is for you.

I have read all six of the books and they are all great reads. Deegan is FBI and Kiersten is a supervisor at the FBI. The share a night years ago and he has never forgot her. They have to solve the murder of a senators girlfriend.

What a series. I enjoyed each book in this series but Kiersten and Deegan's the best. It could be because she's in law enforcement like her brothers. I thought I had figured out who was behind the killing but I was wrong. Loved it I will be reading more by this author.
