Creative Love

Rate this book

With bags in hand, Bryan showed up on his brother’s doorstep, leaving his cushy life behind, to chase his dreams.  For art, he was willing to give it all up and live like a starving artist, if he had to, in New York.

New York was where he wanted to be until he met his greatest muse.  Other women had become the subject of his paintings before, but she was his constant motivation.

Nicole was living a mundane life after college, both professionally and personally, but was looking for more.  Her love life was all over the place.  She would rather date multiple guys than commit to one.  But the guys coming her way were no longer exciting her.

Then Bryan appealed to Nicole's heart.  He convinced her that commitment was at least worth a try.  Is she willing to be creative with her love life?

Good

This was a real good read. My first from this author. The only problem I had was I couldn't tell who was saying what at some points. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the book.

It was a nice escape without being far fetched and over he top. Very realistic and sweet at the same time. I absolutely loved Chris and Bryan’s relationship. I will be following this author to see what’s next.

Ps. Thanks for respecting your readers enough to edit your work.

Should We Try?

I have to be honest and say of all the friends (Laila, Jennifer, Nicole and Monica), Nicole was not my fav. At times, I didn't understand her attitude with the other ladies, especially Laila (during college when she was holding onto her virginity and not giving it up to Chris when they first started dating) whom seemed to be the most loyal out of the crew. I did understand that she was a sexually free person (do ya thang), yet just because the other ladies didn't want to be hoeing like her, she had an attitude. At first I was like 'go find some other friends', then she started to be "nicer" and I guess I started to like her😒.

I did however enjoy this book and learning about her and Bryan, Chris' (Laila's college boyfriend turned Fiancee) older brother. I liked that Bryan wanted a chance to really show her that with effort, they could make a long-distance relationship work. I get both of their doubts, seeing as she was not into relationships due to past hurt and so was he, yet they deserved to be loved and to have someone solely for them.

I loved the art aspect of the relationship. Bryan was the middle "rebel" child, yet he was very good at art, so quitting the family business to pursue his dream full time was inspiring. I love that Nicole was so supportive of Bryan even before they entertained any type of relationship, sexual or platonic. I think these 2 clicked and hit it off and even if they didn't end up together, could've been really great friends. Their chemistry oozed from the pages and I loved it.

I like that the ladies have all stayed in touch and are willing to travel to each other to hang out. Laila is, to me, the type of loyal friend you just don't want to let go of. She deserves so much happiness and I'm glad she gets engaged in this book.

When I got to the part with The Clark Brothers, David, Bryan and Chris' dad, I almost shed so many tears. I'm glad the men all wanted to ensure their mom was taken care of. Love, Love, Loved that the author included that part. I was hoping Bryan would accept that Nicole was trying to be there for him during his time of grief, yet people grieve in different ways. I'm glad Nicole didn't hold his attitude and him basically pushing her away, to heart. She understood he wasn't in the best mind space; which goes to show these 2 were really meant to be.

I really enjoyed this story and am going to re-read Monica's story since it's been a while and I read them all out of order 🤦🏾‍♀️😬.

Really good read.

I have to admit I picked this book to read because of the cover. But after reading it I am SO happy I did. I LOVED THIS BOOK! I didn't want it to end. The characters are wonderfully written. The story sucked me in from the beginning. It is the wonderful story of boy meets girl, they get to know each other and they like each other, they each want to have sex BUT they don't. Then they decide to try the relationship even over the distance. This story shows you that sometimes you have to take a chance and change your way of thinking in order to find that one love that is just right for you.

I am definitely going to recommend this book to my friends and everyone I talk to about books.

Great Read

It's been a while since I've read a book that I've really enjoyed and wanted to leave a review. I really enjoyed Bryan and Nicole's story. The author kept mentioning the age difference between Bryan and Nicole, but never actually gave their ages. I'm just curious about their ages but it didn't take away from the story. I just wish the book was longer so that I could have seen more of their actual relationship. Hopefully there will be another book.

The story was well written with great editing which is always a plus for me. I just wish more authors would invest in a good editor. I will be reading more from this author.

A Treasure Find

I was looking for a stand-alone book that was a quick and enjoyable read. However, I found so much more. This book was well written, had a compelling storyline, and took on a topic that could be taboo (a woman that was unashamed of going for hers). I am glad that Bryan found something in Nicole that challenged not only his anti-love/anti-relationship stance but also Nicole’s...

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will look for more reads from the author.

A different kind of love

The author did a splendid job in creating a story that showcases the growth of two individuals, Bryan and Nicole, who transition from physical desires to mature love. It shows how vital it is to get to know the opposite sex rather than blurring the lines with intimacy. If you are interesting in a different kind of relationship, this is your book. You will not regret it

Potential

This was a hard read. It had potential but so many unesecary details. The interaction between the two leads characters weren't enough. They didn't seem like they had any chemistry. It felt forced. Didn't care for this story but I will give the author another again. The punctuation was poor. Missed lots of comas and period.
Read at your own risk.

Loved it!

I enjoyed reading this story. I liked how this was sort of a continuation from the Love 101 series letting us get a glimpse in how life is after college for Nicole and Laila. I would love to read a follow up on how things worked out for the noncommittal Nicole in a follow up story.

A enjoyed this story. As a creative person I understand wanting to pursue goals or walk in your purpose, so that truly spoke to me. I also understand being hesitate to trust yourself when having being betrayed in the past. Very relatable and enjoyable read.

Syrupy sweet

While I like my love stories to have an antagonist I know they all won't. This was a great read probably because I see a little of myself in the main character. Great job to the author!

The book was a pretty slow read. The story was cute but drawn out. I’m glad Bryan and Nicole got it together.
