But when the Leader of the Fire Circle is nearly killed, we no longer have any choice besides which evil is lesser: the help of the Neuians or making a deal with Jerrick and Landshaft to go to war against them.

I purchased Poison in the Well, book 3 of the Deadly Trades series, as a box set. As with prior stories, quick pacing makes this a great read. Plenty of plot twists--not as predictable as book two--and interesting choices to build some edge-of-the-seat tension. A wonderful series.
