A Treasury of Fairy Tales and Myths is a collection of stories. The stories included are well known, like Cinderella and Rapunzel, as well as some that are not as well known, like Diamonds and Toads. There is also a collection of myths from many different cultures and countries.

The collection of stories is pretty well rounded and easy for kids to grasp. I think that there is a good selection of lesser known stories as well as ones that most children know already. There are segments where the words flow across the page that will keep children engaged depending on how their parent reads it, or even how they read it. The art that accompanies each of the stories expands each of the narratives extremely well and is very charming in itself. This is a good book to add to your shelf for children.
