Nathan Van Coops lives in St. Petersburg, Florida on a diet comprised mainly of tacos. When not tinkering on old airplanes, he writes heroic adventure stories that explore imaginative new worlds. This is a selection of sample chapters from several books by Nathan van Coops and an individual short story. It includes titles from all three series, In Times Like These, Kingdom of Engines and the Skylighters. The three series are all extremely different and this a good way to find out which of them would grab your interest.

As I've mentioned in many of the reviews for this book series, the Chronothon was my favorite thing that happened. This was a great little snippet from a past Chronothon. I love the travel to different places and times. I love the treasure hunt aspect of the race. I love how they have to use crafty time travel tricks and get super creative. I wish he would do another whole book about a previous Chronothon.
