This was so much better than #1, Angel and Jasmine got their shit together and started working on themselves which was not going to be an easy task, sometimes it just doesn't work no matter how hard you try but they learn that without each other, they themselves are not whole.
This along with book #1 focused on another couple at the same time. Kris (Angel's little sister) and another childhood friend named Chase. Bro~code was fully activated as well, but, it was no secret they wanted each other but who was the hold up there? Chase, low and behold he's my kinda man! He wasn't selfish, no, not at all. he didn't/couldn't promise himself to her for reasons you will only know if you read the book. I really loved how each character had their own P.O.V. sectioned in turns throughout the story. Several point of views that weaved together (perfectly I thought) that helped me understand, and not forget, exactly what person played what role and when. I really liked it, that's the first time I've encountered several views.
I have to say I am into Chase, he will have his own story along with Kris, the spitfire, this sums her attitude up quite well...

This is a well written book about real-life problems. I felt everything while reading it and the development of the characters is amazing. The beauty of reading a book and falling in love with it it's when the author puts her heart and soul into her work, delivering a heartwrenching and beautiful story for us.
I loved the book and i'm looking forward to the next installment.

I have read a few books from this author and she keeps on surprising me. I absolutely love her writing style. She makes you feel like you are in the book with these characters. This is the second book in the shattered heart series. You do have to read the first book or you will be lost. I was so excited when I got this book I dropped everything and started to read it immediately. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible book.
Jasmine and Angle are so happy that they found each other again. They are giving this relationship a huge try. Jasmine is still fighting her demons from that horrible night long ago. When she starts getting crazy texts she knows something is up. She goes to one of her friends for help but she doesn’t know that he is helping her demon. Jasmine thinks she can handle this herself but she doesn’t realize how close her past is to her. She goes to Angle but he also has past demons he is trying to get through. Will Jasmine and Angle be able to stop their demons or will it be too late?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, suspense, and some mystery. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters once again. Jasmine is a very tough woman but she wants to be loved. Angle is willing to do whatever it takes to see Jasmine happy. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seat until the end. There is also a couple of scenes that may trigger some readers. This book is for a mature audience. I can’t wait to see what will happen next.

Angel and Jasmine finally are together and enjoying their relationship to the fullest, but they're still struggling to be open with each other; just when everything seems to be going perfect both their pasts catch up with them and threatens to ruin everything.
I loved the first book in this series so; of course I loved this book as well. I really loved the character development Angel and Jasmine went through in this book and the twist had me going emotionally crazy. This book is full of surprises that kept me up all night; I just wanted to devour all the characters stories one by one. Can I just say how much I love Chase and Kris though sometimes I just want to punch Chase in the face, he is so stubborn. Tony, Tony, Tony I feel so bad for the guy, what he did was wrong, but I really hope he comebacks in the next book; I'm probably the only crazy one that feels sorry for him because even though he did wrong I feel that deep down he is a good guy. I can't wait for the last book to be released; I need to know where Chase's and Kris relationship is going to go also I don't mind reading more about Angels and Jasmine's lovely story.

In the second installment of the Shattered Hearts series, Nicole Banks delivers a simple tale of two lovers struggling with their inner demons, but neither completely trust the other enough to share their demons with each other.
Jasmine finally has to come face to face with her past. As well as accept the betrayal of someone she believed she could trust. And can she begin to accept her past, but not let it ruin her. Jasmine has an understated strength, although she is definitely independent and strong, her true strength shines when she realizes she can no longer run.
Nicole Banks takes this simple tale and weaves it with the right amount of mystery, love, drama, and sex. The biggest mystery for this book as well as the first installment, is Chase. He was well written and frustrating. Based on the "sneak peek," I'm anticipating how the story of Kris and Chase progresses.
However, there was one character that I felt didn't have a chance to even try his hand with Jasmine, Damien. For his small supporting eye candy role, he wasn't given a chance but he inadvertently takes a bullet for Jasmine before she makes the decision of going with Marcus.
A few of the other characters could have used a bit more fleshing out. Tony, for instance, we are given a brief insight to how torn he is between honesty and family loyalty, however for his character and the brief insights as well as the hints of what he does for a living, as the reader I felt him not being honest was a bit out of character for him. I felt the reader wasn't given enough to entirely understand his decision to keep loyalty to his family, especially after the rape of Jasmine, Jay's death not being an accident, and the hiding of Marcus. After all the deceit, I believed Tony was a redeemable character, but he had no form of redemption.
Ultimately, the second installment of the Shattered Hearts series was captivating and kept me turning the pages to find out what was happening and how it would all play out.

Wow. I didn't think this book could be better than the first, 'Shattered', but it completely blew me away. 'Into Pieces' was so full of healing, drama, suspense, action and some great hot and steamy scenes. I loved how the story played out. Nicole Banks did an amazing job at writing such an intense book. So full of raw emotions. The characters were great. I loved watching Jasmine become a stronger woman and learn to look forward to happiness again. Angel became stronger as well. His journey of freeing his own demons was intense. Angel states- "Each day's a blessing. We're given an opportunity to live and most of us never really do." A very true statement. And then we have Kris. I love her attitude. She doesn't put up with any crap. She's also referred to as a little gremlin, due to her height. That cracked me up. She stated- "Pride was a funny thing; for the most part it was good to have. But when it came to love and relationship? That shit could be deadly." Pure Kris. And of course we have Chase. He's the reasonable one out of the bunch. He totally intrigues me. He has so much self control. And secrets. I look forward to reading his and Kris' story. I bet it will be explosive. A very good series. A great add to your tbr list. Definitely recommended.

This saddens me highly. I really, really enjoyed book 1. But the problem is it took almost 2 years for book 2 to come out. That was over 700 books ago for me. I remember most of the story, but there are too many important details that I just can't remember. I truly wish this was different because I just don't have time to go back and reread book 1.
I got through it, but it was tough in spots, because the lack of memory. Hopefully, I will find time to reread these.

A happy ending. I loved how Jasmine and Angel faced their demons, how they let the walls they built so high fall for love's sake and how they were able to face all that came their way. I also liked how Nicole made me hate Marcus, good Lord knows how much I wanted to squeeze his neck. I hope his father died of heart attack after receiving the news of his son's death. Tony was a coward, I disliked him but still have a soft spot for him. This is a great book and I would highly recommend it. Can't wait for Kris and Chase, those two are drama queens.Good work Nicole. Again!

Wow! Again another superb read thanks to the writing talent of Nicole Banks.
I loved Book 1 of the series and I was therefore expecting the same in Book 2, but what I got was far more than I was expecting.
This book is raw!! You can feel the emotions merge from every page. I really felt for Jas and Angel, my heart was truly in pieces for them. After already going through so much in book 1 they had even more in this book. They faced so many obstacles along their journey to happiness. Angel is still carrying his demons around and pushing Jas out. She just wants to help ease his burden but doesn't know how. Jas is carrying the torment of her attack and is slowly learning to let go and open her heart to Angel. This is all set to change when a face from the past sets Jas on edge and stirs up memories she's trying hard to erase.
This book has a sinister edge to it which was great as it added suspense to the story. I was hooked on this book and didn't want it to end!
The other characters in this book were once again great. I love Chase and Kris. I was glad we as readers were given a bigger glimpse into these two characters and their relationship. I cannot wait to read more of them. We also get a glimpse at Marcus. He's a sinister character who added a great deal of suspense to the story.
This book deals with complex issues which at times were upsetting to read but I am glad the author used these issues in the way she did!
Into Pieces is such an extraordinary read and will have you griped. Jas and Angel deal with loss, betrayal, and despair but will they overcome these issues and get the happiness they both desperately seek? Will Jas ever be able to heal and move on from her ordeal? Can Angel ever forgive himself for events he had no control over?
One of the best series I have read this year! I cannot wait for more!

The story Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks is a contemporary/new adult book. It is the next story in a wonderful series. I was hooked from the beginning of the book and soon found myself lost in both the storyline and the characters. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Jasmine and Angel. This is the continuation of their story. They both have demons that they are dealing with. Both believe they are broken. Can they both learn to trust and to lean on each other? There is a crazy physical attraction between them. There is a strong connection and chemistry. Do their hearts belong to each other as well? What does the future hold for Jasmine and Angel? Read this book to find out. This story does have moments that are suspenseful and had me turning pages to find out what happens next. The book also has scenes that are very steamy that make the temperature in the room rise. The additional characters are familiar in this story as they were brought forward from the first book. I enjoyed reading about how they are living. While many of the characters in this story are helpful and have friendly interactions with Jasmine and Angel, there are some who have their own agenda and plans that they want to succeed. I have grown to care about Jasmine and Angel and I can’t help but want them to find happiness. Don’t miss out on a story that you won’t be able to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it. This is a series in which the books read in order. This story does have some sensitive content. Reader discretion is advised.

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts, Book 2) wasn't near the intense read as Shattered, Book 1 that ripped my heart out. Into Pieces is a great story of the healing process that Angel and Jas have to go through as they struggle with the burden of their demons that haunt them and gain each others trust.
This story did tug at my heart strings learning about the fears that lie within Angel's mind and heart. The sacrifices he made in his life and the things he endured while in the military, places more guilt on his conscience.
Jas grows stronger facing the demon that haunts her on that tragic night she was raped and her brother was killed. Now her stalker is trying even harder to destroy the bond that Angel and Jas have. Will he succeed?
I loved the banter between the Marines. Kris and Chase play cat and mouse as the sexual frustration builds.
This Shattered Hearts Series will grip you from book 1 and you will beg for more as you read the second book. Nicole Banks has out done herself in this fabulous series inwhich I would strongly recommend!! I can't wait for the next installment of Kris and Chase's story. 5 stars ++

Okay so all kinds of things have come to play with Jasmine & Angel's demons, which has left me even more furious with him. Obviously, this is the second book in the Shattered Hearts series, so you MUST READ Shattered (Book 1) FIRST! Like I said, the demons are out to play, and really, while Jasmine is getting stronger, Angel is running like a douche, and frankly, I really wanted her to punch him in the face some more. Yeah, Jasmine has been getting stronger as a fighter, so it doesn't take much for her to deck a douche, which I completely loved! With her bestie, Kris, Angel's sister, they could take over the world. And once again, it's told in multiple POVs, which has me ready to hurt Chase, Angel's bestie, as much as I wanted to hurt Angel. These men, they try so hard to be martyrs, but they don't take into account who they hurt with that white knight BS. Twists abound again, as that straight up nightmare danger is closer to Jasmine than ever, and I was dropping f-bombs right & left. Once again, it was an emotional journey filled with frustrating push & pull all the way to the BIG finale, so I'm completely raw after it all. I know that I can't wait to see how Chase gets his crap together in the next book, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks was an okay read that kept me reading.
The second book in this raw emotional read, it picks up where the last book left off. Following these characters over from that first book, which I did have some issues with, I was hoping that the MC's would mature. As the two major subjects that this book covers, I was hoping for something more. As a serving member and a supervisor, I've seen, and have had to assisted with the issues persistent in this book. There were times that the author had it, I could see the growth, but there were others that I just sat back and shook my head. I still have problems with Angel, and I just, can't get over the way he acted at times.
Overall this book wasn't bad, the author does a wonderful job at expressing the characters emotions. Not just the MC's but the side characters as well. The plot line is compelling, as we get more into the demons that both MC's have and are carrying. That raw emotion is what kept me reading. Writing like that is hard to come by. So please take my recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will get caught up in this feels invoking read.

OMG I loved this book, it was even better than the 1st one and I loved that one. This one brought out all kinds of emotions and fears and feelings.
This picked up right after book 1 and gave us so much, Im really loving the multiple pov’s. I wasn't sure but I sincerely think I could read every book in that way. There's no guessing about anyone and this author did it in a way you were never confused. This one delved a whole lot deeper into all the moving parts of this story and these characters, and that is another reason I love these books, you have your 2 main but you also get invested in many of the other characters as well.
I read this in one sitting because I sincerely could not put it down and in some spots I wasn't sure if I could read it fast enough all the while not wanting it to end. I already have the next on my kindle and I'm so so so excited for that story, I already miss all of these people and I just finished this book.
I must add that you have to read these in order, I can't imagine not having book 1 under my belt before reading this one or the next.
Many Thanks to this author for giving me another favorite series for this year, and another that I will definitely reread in the future.

OMG I loved this book, it was even better than the 1st one and I loved that one. This one brought out all kinds of emotions and fears and feelings.
This picked up right after book 1 and gave us so much, Im really loving the multiple pov’s. I wasn't sure but I sincerely think I could read every book in that way. There's no guessing about anyone and this author did it in a way you were never confused. Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks continues from book 1 and I must say I enjoyed this part of the story than the first. It is well written and it is about real life problems and the angst of love. It is a story where all your emotions are out on display right along with the characters. The characters are more developed and you could feel that Nicole really put her emotions in them as well. This heart wrenching, soul searing and yet beautiful story will leave you wanting more. It also features our next couple in the romance department and it will be just as interesting read I am sure as this one was.
Jasmine and Angel and finally got their shit together and decided to work as a couple but as we all know falling in love and nothing is ever a walk in the park. They still have a lot of work to do on themselves and as we know taking a good hard look at yourself in the mirror is never a pleasant thing. Just when Jas thought her life was safe the horrors of her past are once again front and centre and taking its hold of her and threatening everyone she loves and her own sanity.
I look forward to reading Chases’ and Kris' story next, I just know it will blow us away.

Into Pieces is the second book in the Shattered Hearts Series by Nicole Banks. This is a continuation of Jasmine and Angels story that we started in book one. This book doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, it is a fairly simple story- but it’s the characters and the emotional content which carry the story- with so much emotional content, this story really tugs at your heartstrings- all while we traverse all of the highs and lows alongside our main character. They have been through so much, and both have demons of their own to deal with- and I thought perhaps they may have it a little easier in this book- but Ms. Banks certainly made them ‘work for it’ as they faced their past and demons. They have grown, but haven’t yet learned to fully trust, or let down their barriers.
This book has a more raw, sinister, and suspenseful feel to it than the first- which gave it a little more intrigue for me- that, coupled with the emotional, angsty storyline makes this book my favourite so far.

I’m not sure exactly where to begin with this one. There is just so much to this story! I fell in love with these people in book 1 and that carried on into book 2, only much, much deeper! My emotions were all over the place. Love, hate, anger, frustration, betrayal, shock…I’m fairly certain that at several points while reading this book my heart ACTUALLY STOPPED! It felt like it was being ripped right out of my chest! This author gives you absolutely everything.
The chemistry between the characters is off the charts. Angel and Jasmine. Kate and Chase. You find yourself rooting for them, cheering them on, feeling their emotions as intimately as if they were your own. We finally find out the answers to many of the questions that were hanging from book one, but be prepared! You may not want to know them all! Some of these truths will hurt…and quite frankly make you want to punch the author in the face at times! LOL!
I don’t want to say too much about the story and give anything away. If you love well developed characters, romance, and suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat, then start reading! Just make sure you read book one, Shattered, first. Nicole Banks has quickly become a go to author for me and I will most definitely be reading anything she puts out! I can’t wait to start book 3 of this series and see where this journey is going to take me next!

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks. This is the second book in this series and its amazing. Fair warning, It's not for the faint of heart. Its the continuation of Jasmine and Angel's story. This book is better than story 1 because you get more in to the emotional side. Jasmine is becoming a stronger women in this book and Angel just wants to help her heal from the past. The horrible event that happened to her is still causing her pain but she is trying to heal and move on. Angel is trying to get over the guilt of feeling like he should have done more to save her from the attack. We are introduced to another couple in this book that I hope to read more about; Chase & Kris. They seem super fun! I just can't wait for the next book to see how Jasmine & Angel have grown as a couple.

UGH!! Where do I even start with Into Pieces? First of all, I cannot say enough good things about this book but I will start with the gorgeous cover! If I hadn’t already read book one I would have grabbed this novel without even knowing what it was about. I had to have this book once I finished book one, Shattered. I was lucky in that I read that only recently so I didn’t have the dreaded wait it seems for some, a thing I am glad about.
This book really reached the high expectations that book one set and actually for me in some ways exceeded it. I loved the dark almost thriller like undertone that kept me intrigued and on my toes as I fell in love with Jas and Angel. These two really tore me apart, literally ‘into pieces and slowly put me back together. Its beautifully written even in the dark parts. I can’t wait to see what we will get with book three. I can only expect that it will be just as fabulous as the first two.

Told in multiple POVs, we are able to "hear" the inner workings of a character's thought process. While this was an enjoyable way to read Book 1, in Book 2 it bothered me a LOT.
This book was simply not my cup of tea and I always appreciate when an author puts words on paper for the world to read.
I am invested enough that I will be reading book 3 of there series.

This is the second book in this amazing series, and is the continuation of Jasmine and Angel’s story, as their characters have grown and developed, and as they continue to struggle with dealing with their personal demons in order to conquer them. I love how this author delved into the minds of secondary characters, and their thoughts as they watched Jasmine and Angel struggle daily. This is another well written captivating story, which is filled with drama and suspense, and I was intrigued and hooked throughout. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, and highly recommend for all readers.

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) By Nicole Banks. Just as shattering at book one, I was completely hooked from page one again. I highly recommend reading these in order. Once again this author writes on a subject most can’t even think about. And did a great job of it, the strength the author gives the characters blows me away. Jasmine is one of my favorite female characters this year, she come back to herself from the unthinkable. And we could all use a little Angel in our life. These two had me captured in their world. I love the multi POV it makes the story fuller. I’m so excited to read the next one. Well written and paced nicely, with incredible characters. Five stars all the way!

Into Pieces is the conclusion to Jasmine and Angel’s story. This time around, Banks lets out all the demons that could possibly break Jasmine and Angel, together and separately. Their pasts are hard to read about but the story as a whole is easy to read as the plot moves quickly and sometimes unexpectedly. Banks ended the first book in this series with a twisted cliffhanger and this one is no different. I loved how even though this was Jasmine and Angel’s story we get to read about how Kris and Chase may one day get together! They are pretty hot themselves.
I recommend this story and can’t wait to read more about in this series and any other stories Banks may write!

I recieved this book for my voluntary opinion and omg I was hooked from the Begining!!! Into the pieces Is part 2 and it picks up where part 1 left off! Wow I was on the edge of my seat on every page there was so much action and crazy drama! Poor jasmine her worst nightmare comes true the guy that raped her stalks her but she keeps it a secret from angel! Will that destroy them? I loved kris and chase chemistry as well as angel and jasmine! I can't wait to read more!

This is the second book in this series, I loved it just as much as the first. I highly recommend reading this series in order to help know where Angel and Jasmine have been to where they are now. In this book we get to know and see a little more of each of these characters. They each are struggling with their own pasts, battle after battle which kept me turning pages just to see what would happen next. Is there HEA in their future? They are awesome characters and their story is a must read.
