A good and solid issue. The pacing was fast, but I'm getting used to the fact that most issues are either going to drag a little for my taste or give me a minor case of whiplash. The story is still strong enough that I am willing to accept all of this.
Leila Del Duca's art is as gorgeous as ever, and it's nice to see that beautiful detail work of hers get some more action in this issue. The plots and power grabbing strategies thicken all around our favs Lady Pyppenia and Cyrenic, but it conveniently - if a little quickly - brings Poppy and Cryenic back on the same team if not altogether on the same page and that is something I am always down for.
It isn't the series' strongest writing so far, but it gave me a lot of the (perhaps overly) convenient openings for Poppy and Cyrenic's dynamic to further develop that I've been begging for since the series began.
At least Bini is alive, I guess?? Things are really getting to the Westerosi level of schemes and plots, I hope this means we'll get to explore more of this world and its culture/politics/history.
