Josette Reuel has been creating stories since she was a small child. As an avid reader from her earliest memories, Josette enjoys many genres; however, her current passion is anything Romance. Oddly, it wasn't until her forties that her writing became a lot more grown-up. Josette believes in love at first sight, finding romance in the small things, and being open to exploring new things.

Josette writes M/F, M/M, menage, and reverse harem Contemporary, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, and Paranormal Romance of varying degrees of heat. She also co-authors those genres along with Dark Romance with her critique partner, S.E. Isaac.

She believes in realism along with the fantasy and writes her characters with a variety of body types and backgrounds.

Her stories often fall within the "Forever Safe" sub-genre with their love at first sight, fated-love themes.

This is not my normal style of book that I read I bought it mostly just in support of Romarin Demetri but if I buy a book I always at least give it a chance and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the stories in this book and look forward to the chance to perhaps see the continued stories of the characters in the book many of the authors tied up the main stories quite nicely but left an option(some more obvious then others) for the possible continuation of the thier stories

Caught by love by Josette Reuel

3.5-4 ⭐️⭐️ good story. I liked the characters, story line was good but boom! It just ended.

A roar of her own by S. E. Isaac

5⭐️🌟. Loved this story! Made me wish that human mates set off something magical inside us when it is the forever one. Loved that the female lead is strong and badass. Definitely want to know what happens next.

Changing his spots by Catherine Bowman

4.5 ⭐️🌟. Fantastic story! Loving how strong all the characters are and although these are all short stories the details are so well written it feels longer.

Kenya and her king by Crystal St. Clair

3⭐️. I had a hard time staying tuned into this story. The beginning was good but then it felt choppy and like I missed parts and had to reread it

Hunter’s moon by Romarin Demetri

3.⭐️ I don’t really know how to put into words the way I’m feeling about this book

Snowbound by A.M. Cosgrove

5⭐️🌟 Out of all the books so far in this anthology this is the one I was able to connect to the most. It has a slower pace, more details and really dives into the characters and the backgrounds. Sure hoping to find out more about Eric and Claire!

An unwanted rescue by Adalaine Rose

3.5🌟 it was good but I found the story didn’t run smooth. I had to keep going back over parts to try and make sense of it

Herding Cats by Edward Blackwood

3🌟 had a hard time getting into it. Potential to be amazing but I found it hard to get into feeling like an information overload but not enough information at the same time

Tamed by Laura Stapleton

4🌟 I liked the characters in this one. Was sad when it ended as I wanted to know more

Pride & Flamboyance by S.E. Isaac and Josette Reuel

4.5🌟🌟 loved this one!! But man that Amy. Yeesh!

Possible spoilers.

The storyline was interesting. I liked the setup, but I never really connected with her fiancé to be. The rules of their society were hard to comprehend and the attitudes of all involved (parents and elders) were puzzling. They insisted and she did what she did even though he was standoffish and given their past, I wasn't sure why she wanted anything to do with him. When it turned out the way it did, I didn't like the attitudes of all involved then either. Big turnoff. His reasons were hard to comprehend too. The writing was good, but the plot layout was short on details. Maybe giving some actual scenes of their past might have helped.

I am one of the authors; however, I must admit that all of the authors brought their A-game. I was impressed by the diversity in the different writing styles, characters, and overall storyline. Each story had to have cat shifter in it. And, that's exactly what the readers got.

There were stories with suspense; lots of laughs; sensual; as I said, a great diversity of stories. A bit for every reader's liking.

As one of the contributing authors, I am extremely proud of this anthology. The other 8 authors created amazing stories, each with their own unique twist ont he idea of a "a scaredy cat" male and his strong female. I highly recommend these 10 stories of steamy hijinks - 180K+ words!

As one of the authors on this project, my first published piece in a very long time, I am proud of the work we produced and to have been included in the ranks of more established authors.

If you enjoy paranormal romance, I think you'll find this an enjoyable read.
