Trump and the Jews

Rate this book
The surprise election of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States evoked passionate reaction across the American political spectrum. It seemed as if not one American was neutral. Trump's supporters adored him, while the expressions of hatred of many of his opponents defied the norms of civil debate. Well into the Trump presidency, one community, the Jews, on both sides of the ocean, has been on the front lines of the continuing Trump debate that has gripped the nation. Trump's relationship with the Jewish community is unique in its very personal nature. Some of his key policy decisions affecting Jerusalem, the Iran nuclear deal, and even economic policy, have been influenced by positive relationships of trust that Trump maintained through the years as a high-profile businessman in New York, as well as some Jewish family connections. At the same time, most American Jews voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. Furthermore, many members of the liberal American Jewish community have been among President Trump's harshest and most vociferous opponents, which raises the obvious question, "How can a president who has been so good for the Jewish people fail to receive their support?" Trump and the Jews explains the complicated nature of the small, but highly influential American Jewish community, its natural, yet uneasy relationship with the State of Israel, and the role of religious Jews (as well as Christians) in passionate support of Trump, and of Israel. It also explores the sharp American political divide, in which the role of American Jews is clearly evolving in ways that will surprise many objective observers. One thing is for sure Donald J. Trump will continue to make headlines and the Jews will continue to be involved.

" Trump and the Jews", by David Rubin was an excellent book. This is my first time reading a book by David Ruin. I certainly intend to read more of his books. Yes, President Trump is a true friend to our ally Israel. Not all American Presidents have been such true friends. IN addition, to writing about President Donald Trump, David Rubin goes into the history of Jews in America, Israel's history past and present, Iran etc. The author gives an excellent historical overview
In conclusion, I believe President Trump will go down in history as one of America's greatest President in the twenty first century. There is a saying, those that don't learn from past history or condemned to repeat it. I hope enough people, especially Jewish Liberals ,wake up. Finally, I feel "Trump and the Jews', is a must read for the serious reader!

Fabulous book and everyone should read it. It really is more about the history. The author provides facts in a straightforward easy to read dialogue that really explains why Israel is important to the United States and the World and how it is important to have a President like Donald Trump who supports and defends the Jewish people.

Learn from history

Having been alive and aware of what has been going on in the Middle East for the last 50 years, I can recommend this book for its' historical accuracy.

It is a complete shame that during previous administrations our country became the tool of the most prolific hate filled religion on the planet.

When it comes to national security we need to take a pro-United States stand. We can learn more from Israel than any other nation on earth.

This wasn't an easy read, but it was definitely worth the effort.

I thought that by now we had read and reviewed just about every type of book there is here at McClendon Villa.

Then, we are sent a book like Trump and the Jews by David Rubin that is so different in nature, I don’t even know how to categorize it.

Author David Rubin tells us so many things that I never knew that I never knew. I had heard of the Six Days War. I did not know how amazing it actually was.

This is not your typical “Pro-Trump” book. And it isn’t anti-Trump by a long shot. What we learn is about many Presidents of the United States and how they opposed Israel. Any real Christian knows that any enemy of Israel is an enemy of God. No questions asked. Just read your Bible.

Trump and the Jews taught me so many things I did not know about Trump, Jews, former presidents, and Islam. The writing is engaging and very well presented. The story told about the history of the United States and the history of Israel is an education in and of itself.

For instance, I knew Carter was our worst President without any question. I knew that Obama was a failed President who had nothing but contempt for the United States of America. I didn’t know anything about where the other presidents fit in with Israel, but I do now.

No matter what your religion is, you need to read Trump and the Jews. No matter which side of the political spectrum you are on, you need to read this book. You will be well rewarded with knowledge for the time spent.

This book breaks down the history of the United States, the Jews, and Trump's Presidency. Some of the history was probably lost on me, this is definitely not an easy breezy read. It makes some very valid points and is definitely worth a read.

Great book! This book easily shows the Divine Providence being orchestrated in the United States and Israel. There is a bigger picture to observe from the original Artist himself.

Excellent overview

David Rubin"s book provides an excellent quick overview of the positive impact Trump has had on Israel and the US-Israel relationship. Written from an Israeli conservative perspective, it is an easy read without the hyperventilating, hysterical Trump-bashing that is so prevalent in the US liberal media. Whether one agrees with Rubin"s opinions or not, it is worth reading to understand this perspective.
