His Wyoming Baby Blessing By: Jill Kemerer Wow, Ms. Kemerer has did it again. This is a Love Inspired filled with a heartwarming story. This is Wade and Kit’s story. Both have problems from the past. Kit shows up at Wade’s ranch a widower and pregnant. Wade can’t turn Kit away , but he must guard his heart. This heartwarming story touched my heart . I felt sorry for Kit and Wade. These two knew each other in the past. Can they control their feeling? I was drawn in at the start and did not want to put it down. I was not disappointed. There were times that I had tears in my eyes and other times i was laughing. I really enjoyed His Wyoming Baby Blessing. I was given a complimentary copy of this book , but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
'Had God set this in motion? Did God care about him that much? When Wade so rarely relied on Him?'
Wade Croft's childhood friend, the one whom he spent time with in foster care, Kit McAllistor, shows up at his ranch widowed and pregnant. He offers her a place to stay, but that's all. His heart is not up for sharing. But old feelings surface, along with past tragedies and Wade finds it hard to ignore them. His ranch is seriously at risk, too. Can he also risk the woman he's beginning to love as well?
Jill Kemerer brings us the fourth book in her Wyoming Cowboys series and it's a good one. There is a strong spiritual message here for her readers as well. Fear is not from God and He wants His children to walk in peace and mercy, not in fear. Watch as these characters figure this truth out from a loving heavenly Father.
*My thanks to the author for a preview copy of this book. No review was expected and the opinions stated here are entirely my own.
There is so much to love in this latest release on the Wyoming Cowboys series. Jill perfectly conveys the brokenness of living with the regret of poor choices. I found myself in tears as I related to Wade struggling to ask for help from his friends who love him. I was overwhelmed with compassion for Wade and Kit who are adults that lived through foster care and remain with broken places. Foster care is near to the heart of God. Now I have to go back and read the other books in this series!
A story filled with deep emotions. Main characters Kit and Wade both have issues from past relationships. Their hearts are guarded and moving on is hard. This story touched my heart. I cried and I cheered for the couple. Tough decisions are made and the possibility of love is found. Great read. I received a complimentary copy of this book. No review was required.
His priority was ranching. Her priority was her unborn child.
These two are at opposite sides of the coin, she wants the forever kind of love she didn't have with her late husband and he’s always shied away from marriage. Though they’ve known each other since childhood, the grown-up years are vastly different from that idealistic world. Wade could lose his beloved ranch and Kit could lose her precious babe. Seems God has placed them in each other’s lives again for a purpose neither one could see, now how will He convince them of that?
Jill Kemerer writes stories that tug at your heart and always makes me feel every emotion possible. I also appreciate that she doesn’t sugar coat the messy side of life, making her characters more real to me. Kit and Wade struggle with internal doubts & fears just like the rest of us do. And just like us, have to learn to lean closer to the One who understands and can calm those fears and dispel those doubts. These two are good for each other, once they begin to realize it for themselves. Wade can give Kit unconditional love and acceptance, she can give him the belief and confidence in himself he once had. I loved seeing this story play out on the pages and definitely rooted for their happily-ever-after! Wholesome and heartfelt, faith-filled and soul satisfying, you don’t want to miss His Wyoming Baby Blessing.
*I received a complimentary copy from the author and was under no obligation to leave a review. All opinions are my own. *
Such a cute and easy read. I loved the relationship the two main characters have. They were so cute and I loved how they cared for each other. I wish I had their kinda of relationship.
This sweet read brings together two likeable characters who both must face down the damage of their childhood; but without that childhood, neither would have met. Faith plays a key role in the story without feeling preachy or heavy-handed to me, an agnostic. Pages flew past as I invested in the characters and their troubles, the small victories each would have, their fears, and the relationships they had or built with other characters. If you've ever had "mean girls" in your life, or those who pretended to be your friend but weren't, you'll recognize the damage done to Kit. You need not have read the earlier books (about 3 of Wade's friends) to connect with them.
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book when this writer presented a workshop to my local chapter of Romance Writers of America on "exquisite planning." The author did NOT ask any of us to provide a review. She seemed like such a great, caring person, and the back cover and first page hooked me, so I read. I have no problem dropping books if they don't keep my interest. I NEEDED to see what would happen to Wade and Kit, even knowing that romances end in happily ever after.
It’s been such fun to follow the four friends in this Wyoming Cowboys series as they find love and families of their own. The books can each stand alone, but you’ll want to read them all to get the full story and background of each character. The setting in small town Wyoming is a perfect backdrop, and author Jill Kemerer uses it well to showcase her realistic and endearing characters. Kit and Wade both have broken, difficult pasts to overcome, but they are longtime friends who try to support and help each other. When Kit shows up widowed and pregnant at his ranch, Wade immediately wants to help, but doesn’t want to risk his heart. I enjoyed watching the growth between them, especially the spiritual growth that helped heal their hearts and overcome their fears.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
With a Wyoming mountain setting, I was ready to visit even before I opened the book. I wasn’t disappointed! The romance of two friends to more was touching as pregnant widow Kit McAllistor arrives at childhood pal, Wade Croft’s, dream ranch. Both have difficult emotional and financial issues to conquer before they can find happiness.
One of my favorite themes, trusting His plan for us, is highlighted throughout. Honorable cowboys and miracles of sweet babies fill the pages as the strength of friendships wins the day.
Favorite quote: “But as I woke sporadically, I felt this peace that no matter what happened, I would be okay, God would take care of us.”
*I was given a copy of this book with no requirement to write a review. I’m delighted to offer my honest opinion.
Love love and love this story!! Sometimes it takes nearly losing everything to truly appreciate all that we have been given. Whether we realize it or not there are blessings all around us if we'd only take the time to stop and look. The greatest blessings in our lives are the people who make up our world and it is so easy to take them for granted. Love is what holds everything together when our world is crumbling apart. They are the ones who hold us up when we need it the most. The ones who stay are the ones we need, usually more than we ever thought we would. And God uses those people in ways we never could've imagined.
Kit and Wade were foster kids together and became best friends there. As adults, he's now a Wyoming rancher in danger of losing his land because he tried to expand too quickly. She's a recently widowed pregnant mom who needs a place to stay. Who to call? Her best friend, of course.
While both are fighting to keep their respective secrets, their feelings for each other become harder to ignore and when a medical crisis occurs, Wade realizes that he has to come clean with his feelings for Kit. Not to do so is likely to be a mistake he'll always regret. So he does and you know what happens next...
if you've read anything by Jill Kemerer, then you're going to love this series!
Wade Croft is a man with a painful past, just like Kit McAllistor... Kit has lost her husband and is in need of a place to stay. She's also very pregnant. Wade can't let go of his past, but he does the honorable thing and helps out his friend Kit. I have to admit that I shed more than a few tears when reading this heart-warming story. I think you will, too.
I can't wait for you to read this story for yourself... please leave a comment and let me know what you think of it! Just don't miss out on this wonderful series.
Author Jill Kemerer tells a story that is so heartwarming that you’ll fall in love with Wade and find yourself cheering for Kit to make the right choice. Kemerer shows us that love will sacrifice its desires for the others. That we all have a past to overcome and that it can be done through faith and trust.
The characters in His Wyoming Bab Blessing are well developed and lovable. Yes, they have human faults and quirks but if you enjoy clean western romance you’ll enjoy this book.
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
I think this last book in the Wyoming Cowboys series is my favorite. Wade affords his childhood best friend Kit a place to stay during the last weeks of her pregnancy. Both have a lot of real life baggage to deal with as well. I really liked how author Jill Kemerer described the characters and the environment as I could imagine being a fly on the wall. I was happy she included the characters from the other Wyoming Cowboys books so the readers could see where their lives are now in this last book. It can be read as a stand alone but I recommend the entire series.
This is the last book in the Wyoming Cowboy Series. This story is about Wade and Kit. Can they forgive from their past and learn to trust each other? This story revisits the foster brothers Clint, Nash, Marshall and Wade and their families. Does Wade get to add Kit into his family? Does Wade and Kit figure out that they both are worthy of Love? Grab this book it’s a good one and Jill doesn’t disappoint.
His Wyoming Blessing by Jill Kemerer is a heartwarming story in the Wyoming Cowboys series. While, this is book four in the series, this story can definitely be read as a stand alone.
If you enjoy contemporary romance books, then His Wyoming Blessing is a book that you will undoubtedly enjoy!
*I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author, but was under no obligation to leave a review.
Oh, this is a wonderfully sweet and clean story about second chances at life and love. I don’t want to spoil this story for you. Suffice it to say that Jill Kemerer expertly wove in the giving and self-sacrificing of Wade and the stubbornness of Kit. They are both carrying baggage from the past, and they learn that they can lean on each other for so much more than the present. You will enjoy this story.
For a harlequin love inspired, this book was written very well. I loved the characters and their story. A lot of love inspired books take their time with the romance until the end where they rush a wedding. This one moved naturally. I almost did not read this book since I did not like the one before it in this series. I am so glad that I did!
This is the final book in the Wyoming cowboy series. Im sad to see it end. The author has done a wonderful job creating a unique storyline. Wades priority is ranching. Kits is her unborn baby. See how 2 broken people navigate their situation. Wonderful sweet story.
Having met in foster care when they were young, Wade and Kit, remained friends as adults. Without realizing it, their friendship turns into something more. Trusting and leaning on God, leads them down a path neither expected.
This is a wonderful story. Two broken people who first met in foster care back as children and remained close all through the years. They find their happiness when they let go of all the past, pain, and struggles, finally allowing God to have the total control in their lives.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are very likeable. I loved their story and how they grew together and dealt with their emotional issues. I won this book in a giveaway, but would have been happy to buy it.
