By keeping to herself and alienating her peers, Cianne Baxter manages to keep her visions and the horrifying physical changes they force upon her a secret for years. All she has to do is survive her last year of high school and resist HIM, then she can disappear into a life of self-imposed solitude.
Tristan Bertram knows this is his last opportunity to convince Cianne to give him a chance. Over the past few years, he's come to realize that not only is she beautiful and intelligent, Cianne seems to calm his inner demons. He will have her because his determination is far stronger than her resolve. When Tristan discovers that Cianne is much more than the star of his dreams, he is prepared to be her everything. But a hidden past, jealousy, and hate threaten to end them before they even get started.
Tristan must decide if having Cianne's heart is worth his life; while Cianne has to rely on the very abilities she is fighting so hard to hide to save herself.
Shea is a woman in love with the idea of love so it’s no wonder she writes Romance Novels. The East Coast native is a romantic to her core and reads and watches anything with a love story. She especially likes binge watching Romance TV around Christmas time.
She enjoys meeting people and chatting, collecting Barbie dolls, toys, anime, and is addicted to The Sims games. Shea also loves music and has mentioned that she writes better when she has music playing as white noise in the background.
This exciting author writes Adult Romance in the sub-genres of Contemporary, New Adult, Paranormal, Sci-Fi, and Erotica.

I love just about all genres but I know a lot of readers have preferences. In order to give readers what they want, I've decided to offer dedicated Newsletter choices. Keep in the know for amazing giveaways and more as well.
Whoo hoo, I love when a book takes me by surprise. I started this book last year sometime and honestly, I can't say where my reading head was at that point in time but it obviously was not in a good place to have put it down to read later. I'm so glad I picked it up again seriously I ate this story up.
The story started off slow but there were a lot of pockets in the story that had you thinking " hmmm what was that all about?" to keep you wanting to know more. When it finally picked up it was like wham! Everything is thrown at you at once. This was very entertaining once it got going I couldn't put it down, except of course when I had to change a baby's diaper or feed my kids and husband or drive my daughter to to her dance studio, ugh the life of a mom dont these people know I need to read lol... and you know how my grown ass feels about young adult to new adult stories.
Anyhow this is a paranormal young adult/new adult with some sexual situations so I'd recommed 18 and up. Cianne had abilities that she tries her best to surpress. She meets Tristain at a very young age and through some her power/engergy to him giving them a conncecton that brings them together years later as Seniors in highschool. This book had a lot of charater building and they dont start the Coesen world building till the end. Leaving me eager to get started on the next book there are a lot of twist and turns in this. You might think in the beginning of reading this its going to predictable but I was so, so wrong.
I knew a month ago when I read the excerpt of this book it would be awesome and I was not disappointed! Every page has you hungering for more! I as soon as I am done writing this review I will be purchasing book 2. The Binding of the Halo need to be turned into a movie, it was just that good. I absolutely cannot wait to see what is next!
I knew after reading the sample, that this was something I wanted to read. It is different from anything I have read. From beginning to end it held my interest and I wanted to know what would happen next.
The book starts out about a girl named Cianne...who's experiences strange feelings and transformation when seeing in the future....her abilities causes her such anxieties, making her feel ashamed and isolated....she only trusts her best friend Tranae and her stepfather....but there's a boy in her school who does his best to get her attention....he's the obnoxious rich kid...jock...and extremely good-looking and popular...but Tristan is nothing like she thinks....they are more connected then they realized....he has been love with her for 4 years....as the story unfolds...we find more about the Halo....and who is the appointed protector....Tristan and Cianne falls madly in love...but they are just graduating from high school...books 2 and 3 are released back to back and I am very excited....
Cianne Baxter is blessed/cursed with precognition, and physical symptoms that have frightened all but her closest family and friends, so she hides her gift to the best of her ability. But the handsome, uber-rich Tristan Bertram isn't taking her polite brush-offs (note: it never crosses the line into stalking or creepiness) as her final answer.
Disclaimer: I'm personally acquainted with the author on social media.
The teen "voice" is wonderfully authentic; however, some of the high school conversation felt a bit repetitive. There is also sexual activity, tastefully handled, but which made me unsure whether this falls into YA or NA. It started off relatively slow and finished with a very dramatic and suspenseful ending, and hints at secrets to be revealed in future books in this series. Which I WILL be reading.
I loved this book. What appeared to start as a typical romance story ended up being so much more with the teaser of the magic only coming at the end. Definately worth the read. I can't wait for the next part.
