Short and sweet book with a few quotes from Ancient Greek philosophers. What I enjoyed most was how each quote was depicted in the original Ancient Greek text as well as the English translation.

It’s amazing how so many of these ideas are easily applied to today’s world, over 2000 years after they were originally taught and shared.

A pretty Spartan collection of wisdoms.

A very quick, 'once a day' collection of tea slated ancient Greek morals and philosophies. It's nice that they're presented with the original Greek, alongside the translations, and the illustrations are a small but welcome addition. It's cute. Mostly it's a great directory of larger ancient writings to check out, so I appreciate that.

Short compilation of ancient Greek qoutes and sayings in bot Greek and English.

Very nice and short read, bought in honors of being on Crete and visiting the ancient palace of Minos in Knossos. Will definitely read again and use these qoutes throughout my life.

Ik vind het ronduit fascinerend dat ik deze teksten kan lezen, circa 2500 jaar later in mijn huisje in the middle of nowhere van de Nederlandse polder (helaas niet de Atheense agora). Sommige nog steeds zeer waar, andere minder pakkend. Een fonetische weergave van de Griekse tekst zou een welkome toevoeging zijn.
