I borrowed from the library but I will probably want to get my own copy sometime down the road. I had some reservations, and in fact half of the content was neat useless to me. It is an old book so most of the methods in use are outdated. Same for the case studies. However, their concepts about cognitive schemas and scripts, the link between collective cognition and action, and the challenge of adapting ossified cognitive structures to rapidly changing environments are very relevant for understanding organizational innovation today. It was good for understanding the context that informed Weick's "Sensemaking in Organizations".
