When Love Calls the Shots
Meet Kyra Marshall. She is a 17-year old with a bright future ahead of her. Even after her father is gunned down in the line of duty, she still dreams of following his footsteps in becoming an officer. Things turn upside down for her when she finally hooks up with her long-time crush, Black. He is a bad boy from their neighborhood and he is also her best friend Amber’s brother.
After Kyra’s mom send her away, she is separated from her friend for ten years, forced to be on her own and take care of her responsibilities. Thru every obstacle that is thrown her way, she fights ten times harder to end up on top.

Lovely
I decide to take my time to reading this book. When Love Calls the Shots by T.Friday is a excellent and good read. She does a phenomenal job. T. Friday brings the energy and vibe for this book.
A mother should teach her kids how to be love and respect towards other. A mother should not suppose to hating on her kids. A mother should protect her kids from broken heart and understand her child’s feelings.
Helen doesn’t care about Kyra’s feeling. She’s evil and jealous. She doesn’t want her daughter to do anything with Kyra’s life. She doesn’t want her daughter to be happy or find love with Black. I like when Black and Kyra are reconnecting their friendship with Bank and Amber. Also, I’m happy that Black shows his love and caring to his son BJ and Kyra.
I’ll definitely continue to support and read more from this author. This book deserves 5+⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Read
Kyra mother was a scandalous, evil, and conniving witch. Helen truly didn't give a damn about Kyra. All she cared about was getting back at Black for her own selfish reasons. Kyra thought she was doing the right thing by being there for her trifling mother even after everything Helen put her through. After realizing that her mother was hiding secrets. Kyra realized just how far her evil mother was willing to go. Black couldn't understand why Helen was so bitter and angry towards him. Until she revealed to him that she knew his secret he thought he was hiding. He knew then he had to be honest with Kyra and protect their son.

Black and Kyra
I loved how Kyra and Black along with Banks and Amber loved each other. Even though Kyra mother tried to keep Kyra away from Black they never stopped thinking of each other. The couple got separated for 10 years and is surprise once they are reunited with the things that had been going on in their lives. Kyra mother is still being evil and causing trouble after 10 years. One click and enjoy.

Loved It
Man I loved this roller coaster love story . The love was so powerful. I loved all the characters and the storyline was dope too. I’m glad that Helen got what she deserved because how could you treat your daughter like that smh. I wish it would be a sequel but by the ending I’m thinking this would be stand-alone novel.

A real rollercoaster ride
This was a real rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. I hated Helen from the very mention of her name. Really? Who treats their daughter, their own flesh and blood like that? She was an evil woman and I'm so glad that she got what she deserved. Kudos to the author.

Good book. Ending not so much
I liked the book. It moved at a good pace but i feel like the ending was kind of rushed. A lot of things could have been prevented if Black or Kyra would have spoken up. I loved how Banks and Amber was living the good life. I still feel like the mother punishment wasnt harsh enough. Otherwise good book.

Good Read the story caught my attention from beginning to the end. There was some many twist and turns in the story I kept say what's next. Helen was as evil as it came if I was Kyra I would I offed that heffa. Black my boy always doing what he had to for his family

Wow!!!!
This was my first read from this author and I must say that I was not disappointed at all. Kyra's mom was a total trip it don't make any sense that she was that evil and money hungry. Overall it was a good read and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Wow I couldn’t not put the book down, can one mother be so evil to her own child because of money am glad she got hers in the end, but I would have love if blacks and his family make it back home to the rest of the family.
