I have owned these individually for years and reread this series often. I also have the audible books to listen to when I am busy.
To get it in a box set was just icing on my reading cake.
Now to snuggle down and enjoy myself once again.

1 - COPPER KING
One of my favourite books. A short fun read.
I have never taken to a book as much as I did this one. I just loved Jim and Lilly and the ending at Jim's house was just so cute and funny.
Really liked both these people and enjoyed the ride with them. A well written and good book.
Have reread this book numerous times for a light read before bed.
Have read book 2 in this series as well which is about Damon and Addie who we get to meet, Addie by text message only.

2 - LAIRD WOLF
A great follow up to Copper King book 1 which I read ages ago.
I had always wondered if Damon had his own HEA and it was lovely to find out it had been written and even better to find out it was Lillie’s best friend Addie. We didn’t meet Addie in book 1 in person, only through text messages with Lillie.
Damon and Addie are both very likable characters and well suited.
This was a great story, well written and the interaction between Addie and Damon was wonderful, funny and lovely to read, even their sex play was light hearted and enjoyable, but whilst I find this strange to say, I got tired of all the sex that seemed concentrated in a small part of the book and just wanted to read the story and find out what was going on.
Lovely ending to a very good read.

3 - A LADY’S HEART
So glad the author is adding to this series. I went back and read my first two books again before reading this one and I just loved it.
Great story that is giving us more characters to want stories for.
Love that Mandy found herself after her abusive marriage but that she was sensible and took her time to do it her way and on her terms. Her list idea was good and I loved how it kept being added too.
Justin is just such a big cuddly sweetie but definitely who you want on your side in times of trouble. Caring, smart and capable are hot traits.
Great that Justin thought of everything when they took off, bugs and tails etc. I love a well written and believable plot that makes sense.

4 - WILD PRINCE
Great diversion and interesting direction happening with this series.
You are grabbed from page one and have to keep reading to see what happens once you pick up this book.
Really intrigued to see what happens with the NLRH. What a great idea and so many ways to branch off from this.
Found the silliness and humour in this book captivating. Liked both main characters Dani and Cole but Cole was a bit of a typical male idiot in some of his actions in relation to Dani. Mainly due to not being honest from the start and the cabin scene.

I really enjoyed this one! It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved all the different stories and the way that the books seemed to pair up a bit (1&2, 3&4). All the stories were well done and engaging. I enjoyed the different personalities that we get with all the different characters. These definitely have some of that lighthearted vibe with the antics that they get up to and definitely had me laughing at times. I loved having them all in one collection and moving from one to another. I loved this Northern Lights Shifter world that Vivian Arend has created. It was fun and engaging and the stories are well written and while not long, have plenty to them. The stories and characters are well developed as well as the plot. There is enough going on in the story to keep it moving forward and the reader engaged. I really enjoyed them!
The narrator did a great job with all the stories and characters and bringing them life.

Taking Shifters

The story lines of each book were very well written and entaintaining. I would have enjoyed them better if the stories had a little less sex as it sometimes interfered with the back stories. Overall, good read.

Shifting Through to Find Perfect Mates

There's comedy, suspense, and plenty of smexy times for these shifters that kept me entertained. As with all of Vivian's books, I suspect I'll be back again at some point. The characters are intriguing, frustrating, and lovable.

The first two books in this collection are directly tied to each other. The same is true of the last two books, but there are things that happen in between the second and third books from what I can tell. While I did feel a little lost during the transition, I still appreciated the stories with 'Laird Wolf' being my favorite in the collection.

The narrator is Tatiana Sokolov, who is a consistently good narrator. I especially love when the accents come out to play. 🎧❤️‍🔥🎧

Copper King 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Final Fling
I love how immediately taken Jameson "Jim" Halcyon is with Catherine "Lillie" Ruah (sp?). The instant recognition and protectiveness is hot, and his desire to keep her is sweet.

The extra shenanigans that Jim's best friend, Damon Black, lends to the story kept me laughing. Of course, Lillie and Jim get up to their own fun and funny naughtiness.

I like the twist, and I love how it plays out. And, as expected, there is some great steam to give the Vegas sun a run for its money.

Laird Wolf 🌟🌟🌟🌟 .5 - Highland Tigers Defeated
Damon Black was warned by Jim Halcyon, but did he listen? HA! No. 😁 Instead, he rides to Addie MacShay's rescue. Even though he's a bit of a goof, I do like this unconventional lone wolf.

What happens at Sterling-Wylde Manor is mysterious, troubling, and full of high jinx - some good, some... strange. Oh, and then there are the idiosyncrasies with Jim's and Addie's wolves, and their hot and playful chemistry. It all combines to create a story that I thoroughly enjoyed.


A Lady's Heart 🌟🌟🌟 .5 - Lost in Emotion
Lady Amanda "Mandy" Ainsworth and Justin Cullinan do have an interesting dynamic. She's trying to find herself after extracting herself from a bad marriage. He's just trying to get her attention. There are cute, harrowing, hilarious, spooky, and steamy times that did keep me and the story moving forward. On the whole, it was an entertaining quick listen.
 
I'll admit, I spent a decent amount of the book lost. Even though this is supposed to be a standalone book, it didn't feel like it. It also isn't a continuation of either of the prior books in the series. As a result, I didn't enjoy it as much as I expected. Perhaps I'll circle back, find the missing book(s), and try again. For now, this is where I stand.

On a much happier note, I am definitely looking forward to the next book. The introduction to the characters was riotous in more ways than one. LOL!


Wild Prince 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - All Wound Up
Cole Masterson is one wound up wolf when it comes to Danielle "Dani" Neville. It's almost comical how over-the-top he is when she's involved. Fine, I laughed at his antics, and I'd do it again. 🤣

Their chemistry was wild and wonderful. It's a ride I'd consider taking again. 😉🎧❤️‍🔥

Hot and spicy stories!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to these books! Tatiana Sokolov did a great job with the accents needed in some of the stories. While what happened was sometimes predictable, that didn’t diminish my enjoyment one bit. All of the stories were interesting and held my attention from start to finish.
