From USA Today's Bestselling Author, Terri E. Laine, comes a new standalone, fun and sexy contemporary romance.
My relationship with Cameron McCabe is complicated.
The NFL’s leading quarterback is the cute boy I grew up next door too. The cocky jerk—correction—hotter-than-sin jerk, can still charm the panties off any woman he wants with just a blink of his gorgeous green eyes.
He’s also my best friend’s older brother and totally off-limits. Or he’s supposed to be.
As my best friend’s wedding photos are finally finished and my bridesmaid’s duties over, the last thing I want to do is watch Cameron, #1 player in every sense of the word, flirt with all the single females at the wedding except me.
What do I do?
Try three, maybe four, okay, I lost count of the number of tequila shots I consumed.
So, it shouldn’t at all be a surprise when I wake up naked in a hotel room that’s not mine.
As alarming as that is, it doesn’t compare to finding myself handcuffed in bed to mister sexy pants himself.
Mature as I am, I chuck it off as a one-time mistake.
It is Vegas and you know what they say.
What happens here, stays here.
Or so I think.
Apparently, dirty talking Cameron McCabe isn’t done with me yet and I may not be done with him either.
Just this one weekend… or at least that’s what I tell myself.
Warning: This quick and dirty read will give you all the feels. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Brilliant, I absolutely loved this book and listened to it in audio. The narration was fantastic and really brought the characters to life.
I was completely engrossed, I do love a falling for your best friends brother kind of romance, its all kinds of forbidden and sexy and what a twist were the best friend is actually a guy which is Eddie in this story. Chris and Eddie had always had a pact growing up, that Eddie would never touch her sister and Chris would never touch his brother, but rules it seems were inevitably broken. Following Eddie's wedding, Chris has sex with Eddie's brother, yep, the forbidden one. There's a lot of push and pull following this, Chris is so stubborn, but damn, Cameron is so swoon-worthy, how could she not break her rules.
I adored both characters, I laughed, swooned, the story was hot in all the right places, it was a perfectly balanced short read with a beautiful hea.
With little hints into Chris's sisters story I cannot wait to dive into this book too and would definitely listen to more in audio.
Married in Vegas by Terri Laine was a quick, steamy, sexy, short read. Although a novella I definitely felt a lot happened in this read. The chemistry between Chrissy and Cam was scorching hot!!! I LOVED this novella and would love to see more of them in the future!
*I voluntarily read an arc. This is my honest review.*
I liked it... I wanted to love it, but I just didn't. It is told in Chris' POV and I think it would have helped to have the male POV too, although it was a quick read. What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas.
I loved this audiobook and the narrator. I listen to the whole book in one go, the story kept me wanting to listen, hot and sexy with a great story. I highly recommend this.
Love, love, love this little book!! A quick and easy read, and you won't be disappointed!! Chris and Cam's story is so cute, and it makes you want more as you go along. I love the way Terri keeps you hooked through all of her books!! Sweet, sexy, first loves, and happily ever after is what you'll get when reading this one!! You will not want to put it down!!
Wonderful Story & Audible Listen🎧 Delightful, Enjoyable & Hot🔥
Married in Vegas: In His Arms By: Terri E. Laine Narrated by: Erin Mallon
I loved this story, it is original, well written and well told. Terri E. Laine has a way with words, she managed to fit a lot of story into this novella. The storylines she created were interesting and captivated my mind from start to end. They held a perfect blend of humor, drama, angst and hot romance. I adored the characters, Chris was hysterical in Vegas, the scene the hotel room had me laughing out loud. Cameron is her best friend, Eddie’s brother, he is a hunky football player. Chris always crushed on him but she and Eddie made a pact making him off limits to her and Jillian was off limits to Eddie. There is some history between them but it was in the past and kept secret. I loved the turn of events in this story and how it all played out. Terri E. Laine, thank you for another great and entertaining story!
I listened to the Audible edition, Erin Mallon is a fabulous narrator and voice performer. She brings the characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. You can hear the emotions of the characters and the drama of the story in her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧
I loved this sweet and tumultuous story about second (or maybe third and even fourth) chances. It is a short but sweet book about the dangers of...Tequila. Of course. And maybe also of being in love in Vegas and the realization that not everything that happens in Vegas really stays in Vegas. Some things follow you - or should I say that some guy might follow you? Well, Chrissy rather quickly catches up on that part...especially when it comes with some handcuffs and, well, other stuff of the more permanent nature. There are turbulent times ahead of her and Cam but maybe there is also lots of love and fun around that will have you swoon and smile and chuckle and, yeah, swoon a bit more.
There's a lot chemistry and hurt feelings going on that make for rough times and less than stellar decisions but as Cam is not someone to give up on something good, Chrissy never really stood a chance of letting him go. Short stories are always tricky because sometimes they tend to leave the reader dissatisfied and wanting for more but not in this case! Married in Vegas captivated and intrigued me and I loved to see it all play out! A wonderful, albeit short read, that I can definitely recommend.
I have really been on a kick reading Terri E. Laine's books over the last few days. This is the fourth book in as many days. I have enjoyed the plots of her stories, and Married in Vegas: In His Arms is no exception.
Chris and Eddie have been best friends since they were kids. They made a pact that they would never date each others' sibling. However, that didn't stop Chris from having feelings for Eddie's older brother, Cam. And that feeling is mutual. They end up married when they were in Vegas for Eddie's wedding. What follows in the book is how they both handle the situation.
I enjoyed this book. It was a little quick for my liking, but I liked the characters, especially Cam. Chris's sister, Jillian, fascinated me, and I hope there's more for her. I think if the story had been a little longer, I would have been able to connect with the characters a bit more.
I continue to enjoy Terri E. Laine's books, and will be on the lookout for more from her!
Love it, love it love it! Terri E Laine always writes a good story, but sometimes novellas don't have it all. She brought it to us, with well developed characters, a great story and a lot of passion! Chris and Eddie are best friends. Cameron is Eddie's brother, and is off limits ot Chris. At least he is supposed to be. Stories with a history and include genres like best friend's brother just add to the story, and it made it so much fun. From the unexpected hookup in Vegas, the banter between Cam and Chrissy(have to love Erin Mallon's comedic timing) and their past, these two deserve to find their happiness. But it's a complicated road, and it the story eaves us with Eddie and some questions. So now we need more of this series! Hoping it comes out soon!
Erin Mallon is amazing with every performance. She gives this the humor, pain, love and passion all with her incredible voices. I loved this short and can't wait for more!
I'm beyond surprised by how seriously good this tasty little morsel is!! It's one of those stories that you get full engrossed in within minutes of the first chapter. As a woman who has two older brothers I can tell you all without a doubt that I can completely understand Chris's problems with fighting an attraction that just doesn't seem possible! I've been there! Ok so it's a bit different since Cam is Chris's besties, Eddie's, brother but really, it's so similar. Anywho, I love the push, pull that comes with a forbidden romance. Married in Vegas seemed so much sweeter than most forbidden romances.
Erin Mallon can do no wrong in the narration world. I swear, I could listen to this woman talk all day long and I'm pretty sure I occasionally do listen to her all day long. I love her voice. I love the personality she adds to the characters. She's a fabulous narrator, one of my favorites!
This was a lovely read with some funny moments and steamy scenes. I really liked that the story wasn't only scratching on the surface but also had some depth which came a bit later on in the book. Though it was not enough to stir emotions inside me and it could have been more detailed but was okay generally because it was such a short read.
It took me a few pages to get into the story at first but once I was invested I read it in one sitting!
Chris was scarred by her past and couldn't commit to a man. She was also head over heels in love with her best friend’s brother who was off limits due to the pact she had with Eddie. One night in Vegas though changed everything. But what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?
Although it was a very quick and easy read, it was highly entertaining. And what more do you want?! =P I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a great quickie.
This book was a little choppily written. It was told solely from the POV of Chris. She's best friend with Eddie, and has had a crush on his brother forever. Eddie and Chris made a pact not to be with each others siblings, and both of them broke that promise.
The book opens in Vegas, where Eddie is marrying a woman he clearly doesn't love. Chris gets hammered and ends up going with Cam, the brother. Little does she know they end up getting married. She's too busy thinking he's marrying someone else.
This book was just ok. The story wasn't great. Cam is in athlete, but this isn't fully explored. There is also a side story with Eddie and Chris's sister, which has no closure Story is really short, but not great.
Married in Vegas is such a quick, short read. Don't let it fool you though, because Terri E. Laine did an amazing job giving us a great story in this short read. Cam and Chris have a past that nobody knows about due to a pact made between Chris and Eddie (Chris's best friend and Cam's older brother). When Eddie gets married in Vegas, it forces Cam and Chris to see each other after many years apart. Chris struggles with seeing Cam, because there are a lot of unresolved feelings and a lot of undeniable chemistry. I really loved seeing how this all played out! I was definitely Team Cam after getting the whole complicated back story.
If you are looking for a quick, sweet story, I highly recommend Married in Vegas: In His Arms.
What can I say the girl was a true runner. Making a promise to her best friend whom was a guy they both promised the other that they would not date each other’s siblings. But Crissy broke that promise several times. She was hopelessly in love with her friends brother and each time they hooked up she ran after. Cameron has the patience of a saint.
To continue trying even after she ran, but in Vegas at her friend’s wedding she happens to have a drunken moment and wakes up with Cameran and she is on for a surprise. This story is short so things move quick. So hang on for the ride and see do Crissy and Cameron get their happily ever after.
I absolutely loved this book. At first, I thought it was going to be typical second chance romance; but holy s@&t was I wrong. There were so many twists and turns that made it so much more; and I’m so happy for that.
Had I not been so disappointed with the proofreading/editing; I would’ve easily given the book five stars. Unfortunately, I found several issues throughout the book and did my best to overlook them because I was so drawn in to Cam and Chrissy’s story.
I struggled with my rating because I didn’t want potential readers to miss out because they only looked at the stars and not the reasoning behind them.
Wow, this novella started as a fun, Vegas adventure, but ended as so much more! I loved how this story unfolded, surprising me and making me care more and more about Cameron, and Chris, and their complicated history. Cameron is the older brother to Chris's best friend, Eddie, making him off limits to her. But Cameron is through living by those rules and will go to great lengths to convince Chris they are meant for each other. I went into this story thinking I knew how it would unfold, but Laine expertly created an intricate story of love, heartbreak, and second chances, all disguised in a fun and witty Vegas adventure. I Loved the banter between Cameron and Chris and their sexual tension and chemistry was palpable. Erin Mallon was amazing at bringing this story to life. She easily made me feel all the fun, passion, heartbreak, and love these characters felt. I loved this short, funny, sweet, and poignant romance.
What happens in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas. Especially if you're a sports reporter who marries a recently traded QB, and your best friend is his brother who you made a pact with not to date each others siblings.
Wow! Now how did that happen? With a lot of alcohol and a pair of handcuffs. Yes, you heard that right. Read the book for all of the comedy of errors. You will not regret it.
Erin Mallon does such a fabulous job with this book. She nails the QB and his brother's personalities. I've never met another narrator who could do male characters as well as she does.
Falling in love is the easy part. But since Chris and her best friend Eddie made a pact to not ever kiss each other's siblings... Chris is on the run from Cam and the feelings she has. Not that he isn't a fast runner being NFL player and such. But the few times he caught, and boy did he caught her... She just keeps slipping through his fingers, running and hiding. But obviously what happens in Vegas never never never stays in Vegas. Especially when it includes an Elvis double. Thus Was a quick hot sweet read for me. There were some moments in retrospect that fell a little short and I would have loved to get a better grip on that part of the story.
Flipping heck. This might only be a short audio, but it packs a lot of punch. I absolutely loved it. Best friend’s brother, forbidden romance, both Chris and Cam have had feelings for each other for a long time, but they have not particularly acted on or believed in their feelings. The story was funny, it was sweet, and it actually had me crying a little (to be fair it’s not that hard, I’m a little bit of an emotional stress-head). I’m pretty sure I could have listened to Erin Mallon narrate Chris for many more more chapters, she was perfect. As much as I loved that it was a quick read, I also didn’t want it to end. What a refreshing sweet and sexy story. It pushed all my buttons.
When her best friend, Eddie, gets married, Chris can't avoid being in the company of Eddie's older, super hot brother, Cam. He was her childhood crush but totally off-limits to her when she was old enough to do anything about it.
When she wakes up, in bed with Cam, and handcuffed to him, no less, she thinks that she can get away with keeping it a secret from Eddie. However, things aren't quite what they seem!
I loved this novella but I do wish it had been longer and more in-depth as Cam and Chris had such an involved and secret history together. It had plenty of feels, and hot and sweet moments. A fab little read!
Oh wow. I loved this story so much. Every single word was romance novel gold. A great, swoon worthy hero. A sassy, funny, relatable heroine. It was steamy and sweet and captivating. It was so many things I need and love in my romance, and this author managed to make me love this story even as short as it was. Normally I need longer to feel really satisfied. But this was perfect as was the narrator. Erin Mallon has yet to disappoint and this was another great performance to her credit.
I really enjoyed listening to this audio book. The narrator was excellent and there was a lot of depth packed into this sexy, steamy, humorous, fun novella. Off limits best friends older brother.....what goes in Vegas stays in Vegas doesn't it? Maybe not when there's Cameron, a gorgeous NFL star, his brothers wedding and a feisty bridesmaid/bestie :-) I loved this story, told from Chris's pov only. My only wish is that there was more, just because I'm greedy like that! 4.25 easy listening, sexy stars
I give this 5 stars! The only thing I have to say I didn’t like is that it’s too short! Cam is awesome! And Chris loves him! She runs because his brother is her best friend and they made a pact not to go after each other’s siblings! He loves her and has for a long time... she loves him too but doesn’t trust love.
Her moms advice to her is spot on!
Erin Mallon is so good at what she does and was a great choice for narrator for this story. Her ability to make you feel the emotion of the characters is what makes me not want it to end!
I absolutely fell in love with the hero in this audiobook. He was strong, confident and smokin! Not only were their some sexy scenes but I loved the comedy throughout as well. I got a little frustrated with the heroine always "running" but loved how they had a long time history together. I really enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more from this author in the future. The narrator, Erin Mallon, did an awesome job bringing the whole story to life. Loved the under the blanket scene for sure!
OMG!! Terri surely didn't leave me disappointed! ITS AMAZING! I LOVED THIS AWESOME SEXY QUICK READ!! WOW!! It is a really beautiful read! The characters chemistry is really HOT HOT! Fully in love with Cam and Chrissy.
"That love can be scary and cruel, but it can be the most beautiful thing if you give it a chance and let it grow."
Terri E. Elaine did a great job on Married In Vegas, the story was well written and had a great plot, it was sweet and sexy. Chrissy and Cam were great characters. I enjoyed their story, they were great together. They have been through a lot but no matter what happened they ended up back together where they were meant to be. This was a great story. Thank you, Terri E. Elaine. Great work :)
Even though, this story is short it definitely feels complete. I loved reading about pro football player Cam and his brother's best friend Chris (Cam calls her Chrissy). They have so much sexual tension together, which makes their tale so very hooot!! The epilogue was super sweet and helps to seque into the next book, which features Eddie and Jillian!
I love the narration by Erin Mallon, which was a-ma-zing as always!!! <3
Married In Vegas: In His Arms was a great read by Terri E. Laine. Chrissy has a complicated relationship with Cameron. He is not only a star NFL quarterback, but also her best friend's older brother. She is at her best friend's wedding but doesn't expect to wake up the next day, handcuffed to Cameron. Everything changes between them that night. I really enjoyed reading Chrissy and Cameron's story.
Terri never ever disappoints!!! This book has all the emotional feels. It's a quick read packed with a beautiful story of family, friends, siblings, promises made and promises broken, secrets and surprises. Cam and Chrissy’s chemistry is off the charts and sometimes off running. I’m hoping Terri decides to give us more - maybe a book for Eddie and/or Jillian??? Please! Please! Please!
