Mishka is a snow leopard shifter that plays lead guitar in the band The Dead Tuesdays. Now, that the band has finally found a place to settle permanently he has the opportunity to let his nerd out. Secretly, obsessed with all things Disney, Mishka has become a collector of sorts. Imagine, his surprise when a new item in his collection turns out to be something more. Azurak and Virak are genies who come from well to do families full of bigots. When they realized they were two parts of a triad and decided to actively start looking for their third, they were sealed away in a magic lamp for eternity. Each time a new owner receives the lamp without wishing them free, they lose hope, becoming cold-hearted and distant until eventually they find it hard to care about anyone or anything outside of their duo. Mishka has his work cut out for him when it comes to one of his mates. Azurak refuses to let himself hope and instead, closes himself off from everyone except Virak. Will Mishka be able to break the wall Azurak has built over centuries of imprisonment or will he fail, causing him to lose them both forever? ( Contains sexual content, Man on Man action, and explicit language. Not recommended for those under the age of 18.) This book is part of an interconnecting series with a villain plot that spans multiple books! It was written with the intention that the books would be read in a certain order. If you start from this one, you’ll be confused! Below is the correct reading order. 1. An Alpha for the Demigod (Asphalt Bay One) 2. The Enforcer’s Secret Vampire (Asphalt Bay Two) 3. The Beta’s Poison Bite (Asphalt Bay Three) 4. Taming the Feral Tiger (Asphalt Bay Four) 5. The Alpha’s Master (Venetian Hills One) 6. The Second’s Cursed Mate (Venetian Hills Two) 7. The Doctor’s Demon Prince (Asphalt Bay Five) 8. The Leopard’s Twin Troubles (Asphalt Bay Six) 9. The Beta’s Second Chance (Venetian Hills Three) 10. The Panther’s Favorite Bully (Venetian Hills Four) 11. The Warlock’s Beautiful Bird (Asphalt Bay Seven) 12. The Demon’s Gruff Councilman (Asphalt Bay Eight) *more to come*
A sweet shifter meets two genies and they discover they are fated mates. Didn’t even need to read the first page to know this was my kind of book, and it didn’t disappoint. Could have done with a little more conflict at some points, but a lovely story to read time and time again.
