The Rancher's Fake Fiancée

Amy Vastine

THE RANCHER'S FAKE FIANCÉE is the story of Hadley Sullivan who works for Tyler Blackwell. Tyler has been summoned back to the family ranch by his brothers. All of his brothers are married or going to married so Tyler comes up with a stupid idea and says he is coming home with his fiancée. The only problem is, he doesn't have one. He doesn't even have a girlfriend. This is where Hadley comes in. Hadley is also looking for a huge promotion, one that she totally deserves. Hold on people, it's going to be a very bumpy but funny ride!

THE RANCHER'S FAKE FIANCÉE is the fourth book in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series. All of the books are written by different authors and I can't wait to continue this series. They can all be read as stand alones. Amy Vastine writes about characters that become real right before your eyes. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I've known them for a long time. THE RANCHER'S FAKE FIANCÉE is a heart tugging and wonderful tale and I loved it. I loved how Tyler was very protective of Hadley but hated that he didn't think they could have a relationship. He cared for her but couldn't love her. Confused? Read the story, you will not regret it! I soon found myself cheering for Tyler every time I turned the page.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading THE RANCHER'S FAKE FIANCÉE. It is funny and heart warming and filled with so many different emotions. There is so much going on in this story, but Amy Vastine does a wonderful job of weaving all the pieces together. All of the characters will have you feeling sad and then giggling on the same page. More than once I wanted to be on that ranch with all of these awesome and loving people! The ending was perfect and had me laughing out loud! Once you finish devouring this story, you are going to want to tell everyone you know about this awesome book.

Timing is everything and sometimes what you want and need has been sitting right under your nose all along. At least that's what Tyler discovers when he blurts out that he's engaged to avoid going home to the family ranch. He drags is employee, Hadley, along in this harebrained scheme and as the lies tangle together like a massive ball of unruly yarn, true feelings begin to emerge.

Tyler is all work, every day, yet he gets the job done well. Although he's a fantastic businessman, his true calling seems to be that of a rancher. Every time I read about this type of hardworking manly man in this setting, I have a hankering to end up on a ranch. The slower pace is very enticing and although it's a lot of physical work, the mental pace is a breath of fresh air.

I loved Tyler and Hadley individual, but together? They complement each other better than peanut butter and chocolate. Their strengths and weaknesses play each other's opposites up and force them to become better....more.

I'm a huge fan of the fake fiance/fiancee angle and thought this one played out in a very believable, charming, and adorable way. I also like how each brother's story is told by a different author and I need to go get my hands on those books now, because I loved what I saw of this interesting family.

Content: mild+ romance (stayed in same room, nothing more than kissing)

The Rancher’s Fake Fiancée is book 4 in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers books however it is a standalone. The author did an amazing job of giving background on the first three Blackwell brothers’ stories, and surrounding family and friends, but these books/brothers are wonderful and I am loving the entire series.

TRFF is about Tyler Blackwell. He is a twin of Chance, who also left town and really doesn’t want to come back (and hasn’t yet)…for anything. I won’t recap it but Ty’s brothers finally coerce him into coming back to the family ranch to help out. He has a marketing business far away from the ranch but he makes a deal with a coworker to “pretend” to be his fiancée so his family won’t ask questions and he can make a “quick” getaway. Enter Hadley Sullivan. I’m chuckling as I write this review because for Hadley, this surprise engagement comes out of left field. She has to help Ty convince his family that they are in love and must get back to Portland to their work and wedding planning. Of course, nothing goes as planned and that’s the story.

I really felt for Tyler; all the brothers have had a hard time and he has to work just as hard as his first three brothers to not only have a life but to come to terms with himself and his grandfather and family. Really simple explanation but his story just touched my heart. Hadley is wonderful, maybe a bit too trusting, but she, too, has an agenda and reading about her slowly falling in love with Tyler (and his family) was wonderful. She has some crazy family dynamics as well and as all “sham” relationships, she and Tyler have some fancy footwork to do. It will make you laugh, make you want to sometimes shake both of ‘em, and make you want to cheer them on to an HEA.

Great story, wonderful series, and I highly recommend.

It's time to talk about the next installment of The Blackwell Brothers series. Man, are those Blackwell brother a stubborn lot. Each one of them have such reservations about returning to their childhood home- actually, it's not so much reservations as adamant determination to NOT return home. Each book in this series is written by a different author and revolves around a different Blackwell brother. There is so much continuity though between the books- the setting, the secondary characters, everything. It's really a great idea and a lot of fun to read.

Tyler is harboring a lot of unresolved guilt in regards to his parents death and he is also stuck in a child's view of his place in his family. He just can't seem to let go of what he believes is truth no matter how many people tell him otherwise. Tyler is as stubborn as they come- competitive too. It took a really long time for Tyler to come around but his journey was very satisfying.

I loved Hadley. She was a fantastic character and someone I'd love to be friends with in real life.

I'm just really loving this series. I can't wait to read the next book because each book sets up the next perfectly! We keep getting one step closer to figuring out old Gramps and what is up with him and his motivations for leaving.

The Rancher’s Fake Fiancée is the fourth book in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series, however like all the books in this series, it can be read as a standalone. There is enough information given to get the back story on the three brothers who were the main characters in the previous three books. As I mentioned in my previous reviews, each book is written by a different author and it is amazing how well the stories flow and the relationships continue.

This is Tyler Blackwell's story. Tyler and Chance are the youngest brothers and they are twins. Both boys left about 10 years earlier with the plan to never return. When Ty is finally convinced to come home to assist in selling the ranch, he brings home a co-worker to pretend she is his fiancée. He has a marketing business and after finding out his three older brothers are all getting married, he does not want to go home alone. Hadley Sullivan, agrees, even though she is surprised about the idea. She is promised a promotion if she helps him out. Neither of them expect to be there very long and they certainly do not expect to develop feelings toward one another.

I am really enjoying this series. Tyler is very damaged and his brothers are hoping that being back on the ranch will help to heal him. All the brothers have had a hard time dealing with the baggage they have from their relationship with their grandfather "Big E" but Tyler has baggage from his relationship with his parents and with them being dead, it is hard to heal. Hadley is wonderful character. She also wants Tyler to heal and unfortunately, she goes behind his back to do that. The brothers have a bond that may be stretched, but it is not broken and this story shows once again what love of family can do. There were times I wanted to give Tyler a good shake and maybe a slap upside the head, but he finally realizes that forgiveness is necessary in relationships. I recommend this book and series to all those who enjoy a great romance, a book with interesting family dynamics and a story about forgiveness of yourself and others. The author generously provided me with a copy of this book to read upon my request. The rating, ideas and opinions shared are my own.

The title alone tells you plenty about this book so I won’t go into detail about the synopsis of this story other than to say the setup was fun but once in Montana, things take a turn.

Tyler and Hadley both struggle to feel accepted by their families. Amy Vastine creates a believable situation where two people would need to continue to playout a fake engagement. And all three of the other Blackwell brothers (as well as a few other townspeople) make an appearance.

At its heart, this is a story of how a person’s perception can get skewed to the point it changes who they believe themselves to be. Both Tyler and Hadley struggle with their family dynamics which are sometimes tenuous but there is also love between the Blackwell brothers as well as Hadley's family.

Four down brothers have found love. There’s one left and I am looking forward to Chance’s story and getting to meet his daughter Rosie in the final book of this series.

Life for the all work no play Tyler Blackwell just got complicated. You see his business partner of five years, in advertising, is requiring he take a two-week vacation. The staff needs a break from him.

Tyler doesn’t know what it means to have normal business hours or boundaries. While his partner was away he sent thirty plus email after business hours well into the wee hours of the morning. Kellen, when they started, was gun ho but now he is enjoying the fruits of their labor. Not Tyler.

At the same time, Tyler was getting endless phone calls from three of his brothers from the family ranch in Montana. Letting him know it was urgent that he come home. After three months, of no returned calls it had hit emergency status and they were taking a subpoena out if they had to.

Hedley one of the nine employees who are not afraid to tell Tyler anything or his growl tells him to call his brothers. Before his employees decide to do a strike because they are all fielding his calls. Because his family had resorted to calling them and his brothers knew his staff better than him now.

When he finally does call he lies and tries to say that he can’t come due to all the work obligations and his pending wedding plans to Hedley. She gasps when he says that. When he gets off the phone he explains that he’s going and he needs her to go with because he couldn’t be progressed enough to have a fiancé or a wife like all his siblings so he just used her name.

He said he would give her anything if she would go with him. She says yes for the promotion that should have been hers in the first place as the lead brand strategist. She not happy doing this to his family but if it gets her the title and pays for the job she is already doing on top of her own job, well…

He convinces Hellen that she needs to go do research on a client in person for the two weeks and Kellen agrees. Things are freeing at the ranch when it is just the two of them in between doing the marketing, branding, and selling of the ranch. Good memories surface along with those that have kept Tyler frozen and so far away from the ranch.

Hadley though has this way of challenging Ty yet, not pushing him to help him walk. Little by little through some of those feelings. Now the issue with his brothers not as easy. Keeping the secret from them is even harder since they are ruthless with questions and totally not trusting like Ty.

Hadley had her work cut out for her. The first kiss from Ty as a reward at his brother’s house when they were there for dinner the first night undid her. New rule: NO KISSING. Gives her mixed messages. It’s to mainly keep her in check. She surmises by the looks since he doesn’t seem to react. Not knowing he loved it.

This is a funny and yet heart-breaking piece about a family who had fallen apart after the death of their parents. With only an unqualified grandfather to raise five young rambunctious growing boys who most needed love and his attention. Not four new step grandmothers each worse than the next. Coming away with issues of only bad and feeling of hate for not only their family home, the land it was on, but for the man that was their caretaker. It’s never easy to face death but it’s even worse to have to relive it over and over when you never faced it in the first place. Or with those you loved the most. As Ty is learning now. I give this: 5 stars. Provided by netgalley.com.

This is book 4 of the Return of Blackwell Brothers series but can be read as a stand-alone. Of course, reading the previous three books will enrich the background information you have as a reader but not absolutely necessary to enjoy the book. I love that one author has taken one Blackwell brother at a time to give him a detailed story and I am really enjoying how each story adds on more layers to the beautifully complex and lovable Blackwell brotherhood. If you enjoy well-written clean romance, you will love this book and the entire series.

Book 4 centers around Tyler who is a twin. The Blackwell brothers have seen much sadness and tragedy and most fled their Montana ranch when they came of age. Circumstances bring them back, one at a time. Tyler and his story really grabbed my heart and tear ducts and didn’t let go until the end. I loved the first three books but I have to say this one is so far my favorite (ha ha....if you’ve read the book, you’ll get my unintended pun here).
Tyler is so broken, seeing himself as unlovable and invisible in his family of brothers. Hadley understands how he feels due to her own family circumstances but shows her tender side, full of sunshine, optimism, and warmth. Unfortunately they start their relationship on a lie of pretending to be engaged and their lies spin out of control until both their worlds fall apart. Their dialogue is witty and fun and their romance, once they finally acknowledge their feelings for each other, is sweet and tender. Tyler’s three brothers and their wives/fiancées make great secondary characters and the entire clan of Blackwells will have you falling in love with them.

Now onto Chance’s story! It promises to be a good one!

The Rancher's Fake Fiancée is such a fun fake relationship story! Tyler and Hadley are strictly boss and employee until he tells his brother she's his fiancée ... and then she finds herself accompanying him to his family's Montana ranch!

Tyler and Hadley have great chemistry, and Hadley's interaction with Tyler's family was so fun! Though I'm not a fan of lying (except in the case of a fake relationship, I guess!), all the lies definitely added interest to the story. And the way everything unfolded after the truth about Tyler and Hadley finally came out surprised me in a good way.

There are a couple continuity errors, and I did wonder how Tyler and Hadley could go from an employer-employee relationship to love so quickly (it's made clear that neither thought of the other in a romantic way ever before) but beyond that, I loved this book! It's a quick, engaging, romantic, amusing read ... and I read it all in one sitting! 4 stars.

Note: This is the fourth book in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series. Each is written by a different author, and each stands alone. I haven't read any of the other books in the series, and I had no trouble jumping in with this one.

The hero, Tyler Blackwell, is one grumpy workaholic guy and he sure doesn't want to go back to his family's ranch in Montana! When his back is against the wall and he HAS to go back, he drags a co-worker, Hadley, with him and announces that she's his fiancée! Hadley only agrees because he promises her he'll promote her to the job she really wants! However, I would have given Hadley a medal because dealing with Tyler was anything but fun! He was terrible! He was never happy and really didn't treat her well for quite awhile....however, she stuck with him! The sparring between these two was actually kind of funny! I really enjoyed the revolution of both of these characters. The book was very enjoyable and a definite great addition to this series! The HEA was sweet!

This was a fun story and a good addition to the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series. Each book in this series definitely builds on the one that comes before it, so I would recommend reading all of the stories for the full picture regarding what is going on at the Blackwell Ranch.

Although there were plenty of lighthearted situations in this novel, there were also some deeply held hurts that Tyler had to work through.

The romance between Tyler and Hadley was sweet, changing their relationship as the story progressed. However, these two ended up embroiled in multiple lies between themselves and Tyler’s brothers, which led to some hard lessons learned when the truth came to light.

I’m really enjoying this series and am looking forward to the last book.

This was a fun and entertaining read, one that I didn't like to put down. I did think that things were too easily resolved, without much discussion, but overall it was a good read and one I'd recommend to fans of contemporary romance.

The Rancher's Fake Fiancée is the fourth book in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series. I haven't read any of the previous books, but that didn't hinder my enjoyment of this book and I plan to read the earlier books soon.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was asked to give my honest opinion of the book - which I have done.

This is book four in the Return of the Blackwell brothers. The story focuses on Tyler, he is living in Portland and doesn't want anything to do with the ranch. When he finally speaks on the phone with his brother. He is so desperate not to go home he makes up a fake fiancee. His co worker Hadley.
Reluctantly he agrees to come home, with Hadley so they can come up with a marketing plan for the ranch. As well as keep up the ruse he started. He also offers Hadley a promotion, one she should have got. But her other boss gave to his nephew. Once they get to the ranch and start working together, convincing Tyler's family they are engaged. They slowly start to see each other differently. My heart really broke for Tyler he was carrying so much baggage from the death of his parents, thinking they didn't love him as much as his siblings. Loved the happily ever after these two deserving characters got. Amy Vastine did an incredible job in her part of the series. Can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend reading it as a series.

Reviewed at Lovin'A Cowboy Romance

Two things for Tyler and Hadley to remember — the past isn’t always as set in stone as we remember, and if you’re going to lie about a relationship be certain you know who you’re lying to – others… or yourself.

Tyler’s story is the fourth in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers multi-author series – and it’s as full of heartache as it is full of eventual joy. Tyler has been carrying around a heavy burden like a cloak for years now. The truth is that there was no need to ever pick up that burden, but he won’t believe that fact. He’s always felt like the invisible brother, becoming lost among the other boys. As an adult he’s determined to never set foot on the Blackwell ranch again. But never is a long time, and finally something has enough impact to bring him home. But he’s not returning alone, no he’s got a pretend bride-to-be on his arm and lies on his lips. Tyler finds himself emotionally blindsided both by being back home and his reaction to Hadley. What was supposed to be pretend is certainly starting to feel like forever ever after. How the heck did that happen?

Hadley is not without an agenda of her own… beyond what Tyler thinks motivates her. She wasn’t supposed to care about this stubborn, lonely and alone man. That was definitely not part of the plan, yet seeing Tyler on his home turf, his interactions with his family she’s seeing a man she could hold onto forever… and that feeling is not pretend.

Now, how do they get out of the mess they made for themselves and start talking, sharing and admitting that this love is the forever kind.

The Rancher’s Fake Fiancee will pull you in and not let go until the final page. There are major hurts here for both Tyler and Hadley. Watching them acknowledge those feelings, come to terms with it and move beyond is a satisfying part of this romance. There are tender moments, chuckles to be found, some precious times as well – but for the most part we have a couple who are learning how to let go of the past, discover a new reality and take a risk on a future they didn’t expect to find. It’s an emotional journey, and a very satisfying one as well.

I am enjoying how each author takes a sibling, makes us love them, but understand the others as well from different viewpoints. It’s one of the reasons I love multi-author series — because no two people see their world the exact same way. I would not hesitate to recommend The Rancher’s Fake Fiancee to any reader no matter your favorite genre because Tyler and Hadley face many of the things we all must face, and find love among a very strong community called family. I believe you’ll enjoy this one, I know I did.

I own a Kindle edition of this title.

I loved this funny and sweet romance! Stories where the characters have to fake a relationship are my kind of reads.

I was interested to see how it would work out with Tyler being Hadley's boss. A boss would get in big trouble for flirting with someone that worked for him! So this story showed Tyler and Hadley coming to know each other before the liking-each-other could start.

The side characters' relationships interest me to read the other books in this series. The country life setting brought relaxing and beauty to the background of the story.

The Rancher's Fake Fiancee was a sweet clean romance that brought smiles to my face.

Excellent story!! I don’t want the series to end! It’s amazing that different authors can write about the same background story and an individual story all at once. They have to do a lot of planning & designing to make it work. And the authors have done an excellent job!

Have I mentioned how much I’ve loved this series? I know I have, but it bears repeating. This multi-author series of clean, contemporary romance novels follows the Blackwell Brothers as they return home one-by-one to deal with the mess their grandfather has left behind when he took off for parts unknown.

In the 4th installment, Tyler Blackwell coerces his assistant Hadley Sullivan into posing as his fiance when he’s forced to return to the family ranch. Short of a marriage-of-convenience story, fake engagement stories are another fave of mine to read. Hadley is such a great character – insightful, witty, charming, savvy and smart – and she would make a great best friend in real life. Tyler takes a bit more warming up to – at first, he appears pretty self-focused and I didn’t like how he took advantage of Hadley. As the story progresses, though, and we see more layers to his past, we gain a better understanding of what’s really in his heart.

As always the interactions between brothers are realistic and fun to read, and the increasing additions to the family via fiancees and wives and kids makes it all the more enjoyable when everyone shares a scene. ‘Big E’ and his shenanigans still remain a mystery in this 4th book, but it’s starting to heat up toward what promises to be an explosive reckoning in the fifth and final book. I’m also curious how the sell-or-keep debate between the brothers about Big E’s ranch will play out – will Chance (the brother we haven’t officially met yet) sway one side or the other?

Bottom Line: Vastine’s contribution to the Return of the Blackwell Brothers fits seamlessly with the previous three novels and treats readers to a delicious fake engagement story filled with romantic tension and heartwarming family charm. True, the ‘falling in love’ part seems to happen almost overnight but that’s minor when looking at the plot overall & the engaging characters. Each story sets up the next one, and all signs point to a riveting final installment in this fun series.

Tyler had no favorites. No favorite color. No favorite food. Which may not sound significant yet it was very important to the story. You see, he had always felt like the unwanted child. The insignificant one. Even as he grew up, he felt that he never measured up to his brothers and probably never could. The theme of having favorites was woven nicely throughout the story in a significant way.

Tyler was pretty funny. He was one of those people who gets so wrapped up in what they are doing, their actions could be perceived as selfish, and yet his motivations weren’t selfish – he was just oblivious. Like when he purchased a first-class airline ticket for himself and a regular seat for Hadley who was traveling with him and for him. As his fake fiancée! It cracked me up when he did that and the way the scene played out actually made him a little endearing.

I have been enjoying this series and love how each of the authors so expertly ties the stories together as a different brother returns ever so reluctantly to the family ranch. The way the brothers finally got Tyler to return was quite funny. But don’t make the mistake of thinking this story is all laughter. The insecurity issues that both Tyler and Hadley have to work through are typical of those way too many people deal with in real life every day. Both of them ended up feeling the need to lie to the other – under duress – which caused some big issues to be worked through.

While I am gladly anticipating the final book in this series, I am a little sad knowing the next book will be the finale. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the Blackwell brothers and the women they grow to love.

If you have read the other books in this series, by now you know that Big E’s plan to get his grandsons to return to the Blackwell Ranch in Falcon Creek, Montana, has a chance of working. You also realize that Tyler Blackwell, one of the younger twins in the family and an advertising executive in Portland, Oregon, will be the focus of this book. What you won’t be prepared for is the bold lie he tells to try to avoid returning to the ranch. You have to smile when a character thinks “What could possibly go wrong?”

The Rancher’s Fake Fiancée by Amy Vastine is a sweet romance with a lot of relationship ups and downs along the way. All of the Blackwell brothers were affected by the death of their parents when they were young, and Tyler is no exception. He has to work through the feelings and perceptions of his ten year old self that remained with him as he matured. His fake fiancée, Hadley, is a likable character and fits in so well with the Blackwell brothers and their wives and fiancées. Unfortunately, Tyler drags Hadley into a sham relationship for his purposes, and she agrees in order to achieve a promotion that she lost due to nepotism. Of course, the truth is bound to come out, but watching it emerge is fascinating. The author uses the events in the plot to develop the characters and give the reader a chance to relate to them and their struggles. The Rancher’s Fake Fiancée lives up to expectations as a Harlequin Heartwarming romance—clean, fun, and positive. I truly didn’t want to put this book down.

As always, Big E is brought into the story in the epilogue where we get a glimpse of more of his hopefully well-intentioned machinations. If only he had shown this level of concern and understanding when the boys were growing up!

I would like to extend my thanks to the author, Amy Vastine, for giving me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

After having his whole office - especially his assistant - frustrated with him for not answering repeated messages from his family, Tyler Blackwell finally answers one of many calls from one of his brothers. He thought of every excuse he could think of why he couldn't leave to return home for a major decision, affecting the Blackwell Ranch. He could care less about it, but after his partner heard about it, he insisted that is just the thing Tyler needs. His obsessions at work were driving the whole staff crazy! There was just one major problem. In order to appease his brother, he told him he was getting married very soon. He hadn't dated in months!
Tyler made a bargain with his assistant to go with him on this trip and pretend to be his fiancé, in exchange for a promotion.
Hadley had worked hard for the previous promotion, but was "passed over"' so Tyler's partner could hire his inept nephew. After weighing the oris and cons, Hadley felt the "farce" she had to play would be worth it, although it went against her values of integrity.
The charade was going very well, until some unforeseen complications arose.
I totally enjoy the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series. Each of the characters of these stories are very endearing. Each feels so real, it is easy to forget they are fictional characters. The scenes are equally portrayed well, enabling the reader to feel he/she is there.
Author Amy Vastine, has done an incredible job in contributing to the series. She is every bit as talented as the others. He insight was touching and delightful.
The Book Tittle & Cover were both very well chosen.
I offer a Five Stars rating.

Ty Blackwell does not want to go home to Falcon Creek, Wyoming, but his brother hound him until he comes up with this crazy idea of a Fake Fiancée. Yes he tells his brother that him and his assistant Hadley are planning there nuptials. They have to be on the same page. He promises her a promotion if she pretends to be his fiancée. His brothers want to sell The Blackwell Ranch. Two of his brothers have there own ranch, but his other brother wants to keep it. Ty can’t wait to get in there, and get back home where he belongs. He doesn’t have pleasant memories there.
Hadley knows something is t right when Ty’s brother starts asking her questions, and he tells her things she should know. Right? Ethan gets her to lie, and see things his way. He knows deep down inside Tyler will see the benefit of keeping the ranch. When Tyler here’s what Hadley has been doing he’s furious to say the least. But agrees to keep the ranch, and never come back. When he returns back to work he sees things in a new light. He misses Hadley, and knows he messed up.

Buy the book to see what happens. So much more to come. Loved all these books.
Don’t forgot the ones which came before this one. Total of 5 from Carol Ross, Anna J. Stewart, Melinda Curtis, Cari Lynn Webb.

The ever elusive Tyler who will talk to no brother but Chance, finally comes home but it is in order to get the place sorted so it is appealing to buyers so he can walk away one last time and know he will never come back. Poor Hadley backed herself into a corner with wanting the job that correctly should have be hers and the only way to get it now is to pretend she is her bosses fiance, no problem right?! There is plenty of dodging questions from the family and trying to get things sorted out for the ranch that Tyler doesn't realise he is back doing ranch work and loving it, not only that but Hadley loves to help where she can along with having ideas to make the ranch even better while this happens they are both falling for each other and have no idea how to handle it. Your heart swells as you see them settle into ranch life and get to know each other, then will break when you realise why Tyler didn't want to come home and only hope that between Hadley along with his family can show him why he shouldn't sell the farm and that Hadley is more than just a fake fiance, but I tell you what you will be biting your nails towards the end!!!

A fake relationship just might become real as Tyler and Hadley uncover their attraction for each other! Fast paced and attention grabbing. I wasn't as invested in the connection between these two as I have been with some of the other brothers, but the overall story was still interesting. This entire family and story lion has been great and I'm looking forward to the last brother's return home!

The last thing Tyler Blackwell wants to be doing is returning home to Falcon Creek, Montana to his family ranch, but his brothers have harassed him for the last time and he can't avoid it any longer. He's not willing to come off as a failure though, so he's taking a fiancee home with him ... even if he has to coerce her into going along for the ride!

Hadley Sullivan things her boss is crazy when he tells his brothers she's his fiancee. They aren't personal with each other in any way, but hey, if play acting is what it takes to get the promotion she's been wanting, she guesses she'll just have to play along!

I finished the next book in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers Series. This one, The Rancher's Fake Fiance by Amy Vastine is the fourth in the series and tells the story of Tyler, the second to last Blackwell brother.  Tyler has no interest in the ranch, but promises his employee Hadley a promotion if she will accompany him to the ranch and pretend to be his fiance, so that his brother's don't find out he lied about being engaged.
I really liked how the relationship between Hadley and Tyler started out in Portland as it seemed super realistic and made for a nice contrast to how they end up.  I have to say, the whole Portland scene was very realistic and charming too:)

The other part that I really liked about this book was that the Blackwell family played a bigger part.  Ethan and Grace are around in every chapter and Ben and Jon pop in and out too. I really enjoyed the family lunch they all had. It's about time that family started spending time together!

I can't wait to see how this series ends with the next book which I will hopefully be starting tonight!

This is the fourth book in the Blackwell Brother's multi-author series. I have to say that I have really enjoyed this series. And have enjoyed getting to read new to me authors.

Tyler's the fourth brother home. He's also probably the quietest of the brothers. He is also probably the one who we know the least about. At first I found Tyler to be a bit selfish. But once he lets those walls down he was a bit more relatable and understandable.

I really enjoyed Hadley. I think that she really likable and relatable. She was one of those characters that you wish could be your best friends.

Again I loved the relationships these brothers have with each other. They all are not as close as they used to be. You can feel how much these guy's love and care for each other. But their relationships are so broken that their not sure how to put them back together or act towards each other.

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!

Book four in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers multi-author series stars Tyler Blackwell and his story flows seamlessly from book three. Tyler comes off as a bit self-absorbed in the first few chapters, but once his character opens up, you find a sensitive guy who believes he’s not loveable. And while I liked Tyler, I absolutely adored Hadley. In the previous three books, the Blackwell brothers took the limelight, but Hadley stood out and made book four shine. She goes along with Tyler’s fiancée scheme in order to get a promotion. She’s a delightful character – sweet, smart, and fun. Some of my favourite scenes were: 1. When Ethan and Grace bombard Hadley with the truth. 2. When the brothers have an ‘intervention’ with Tyler. 3. When Tyler reads his mother’s letters to his grandmother. At the end of this story a big question remains, leading to the fifth and final book in the Return of the Blackwell Brothers series. Will Big E make an appearance and how will the brothers react? I can’t wait to find out! Rating 4.5 Stars. Reviewed for Still Moments Magazine.

This was a nice addition to the Blackwell Family saga, as it gives us Tyler's back story and the reasons he has avoided the family ranch for so long. Although I ultimately enjoyed Tyler and Hadley's story, it felt a bit more rushed and not as developed as I usually like. Tyler and Hadley knew each other from work in a boss/employee situation/relationship. Since Tyler was a workaholic and rather brusque with his employees, he hadn't really "seen" Hadley in any kind of romantic way or even really knew her at all. Yet, after one week together at the Blackwell Ranch, they are falling in love. The swiftness of that revelation lacks credibility with me. Overall, It's not my favorite story within the series, but I was happy to read Tyler's book. Also, there's information within this one that ties to the series as a whole and leads to the final book with Chance Blackwell.

Main characters Tyler (another brother and twin to Chase) and Hadley (Tyler’s work assistant and pretend fiancee) travel to the Montana ranch to help with an advertising plan as the brothers decide whether to sell or keep the ranch. No one knows what has happened to Big E, especially after his latest ex-wife shows up back into town.

I loved the character Hadley and how fast she blended in with the family and how she tried to help the brothers see what a blessing and asset the ranch can be to them.

I have really enjoyed the character development in this series since the brothers, couples, and towns people are all mentioned in every book so readers can continue to find out about their lives and romances. I can’t wait to read the final book (book #5) in this series and hope to find out what has happened to Big E and the final decision about the Ranch.

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.
