Remote Control

The U.S. Border is now secured by a wall of remotely controlled gunbots. American Citizens pay to operate them through apps and hope to score a hit during their watch. Today, something else is logging on to help. This short story first appeared in a special issue of the British Science Fiction Magazine Interzone in 2008 that was guest edited by Geoff Ryman.
