Lonely Ghosts is a short story of loss set in the backwoods of America where small town secrets and repressed desires threaten to fully shatter an already cracked family.

After the sudden death of her husband, Lisa Percy begins to lose herself in grief and depression. Desperate she turns to her former brother-in-law for help in exorcising the pain.

John Percy possesses a rare Sight that allows him to see and manipulate the emotions of others. But he is haunted by past choices and an unrequited passion.

Helping her won't be easy because an old and powerful magic connects them and it runs deeper than either of them realize.

About the author

Alex Foster

5 books1 follower
Alex Foster was born in Chicago and raised in the deep south giving him a dual nature that is hard headed, appreciates deep dish pizza, cheers for the Blackhawks, while also non ironically waves to neighbors and fellow motorists at intersections and enjoys Gothic manors that are probably haunted.

He likes to write books and novellas that deal with mysteries, the supernatural, and members of the LGBTQA+ community and other marginalized groups given voices. Occasionally there are some superpowers and kissing thrown in to keep things interesting.

He currently resides in the desert southwest where it is much too hot and he hopes to one day see greenery and trees again.
