Great characters, mature, clever, strong, successful, each carrying a dark past.
Suspense, passion, intrigue, secrets, enemies waiting around the corner, misunderstandings, interesting plot, very well written, great pace and dual POV❣️

Sex, Lies & Lingerie by Nelle L'Amour is book One in the Secrets Trilogy. This book starts the story of Jaime Zander and Gloria Long and will continue through two additional books.
Gloria is the President of a really famous lingerie company and is looking for new adverting agency. Thinking that Jamie is a women who would understand her new line of inmates she is surprised to see the man named Jamie.
Jamie is a rich powerful man that owns a advertising agency. Jamie knows what he wants and Gloria falls into the want category and she quickly might be moving into the need category.
Besides the burning attraction between the two there is some other drama story line that will add to your reading interest.
Great start to this series...can't wait for the next installment in their story.

Gloria is a powerful woman in her own right and knows what she wants. Jamie is a strong man and instantly wants to claim Gloria. Sparks fly between them especially when Gloria realizes that she thought wrong about who she thought Jamie was. When they do give in to one another it is a panty melting scene. However will they be able to build something together or will something come between them?
This is a great story and is part one in a series. The chemistry between Gloria and Jamie is off the charts hot. This is a well written and entertaining story. I would recommend this to any book lover.

I liked this book a lot. The story was good and I liked the characters for the most part. At times I felt a little disconnect with the back and forth but in the end I was okay. Super steamy read! I loved the BDSM aspects just wish there was a little more of that. Overall I really enjoyed it. The ending had me in fits!!!

I haven't read Gloria and Jaime's trilogy and I'm pleasantly surprised to read this version with Jaime's point of view.
First off, this was mysterious, fun, and really hot. It involves very very mild BDSM and the story was fast-paced.
Gloria and Jaime were perfect for each other, simply because they complement each other. I love the fun vibe I got from them and there's the anticipation too.
I also like that Gloria is a kickass woman who's confident and strong, Jaime has overcome his childhood and both of them are prime examples of well-adjusted persons who learned from their pasts.

Two characters who are not only drawn to each other with off the chart chemistry and a working relationship. Gloria Long is a thriving business woman and CEO of her own company. I have no idea where to even to start with the man Jamie Zander is. He's complex, sexy, extremely smart and a womanizer. That is till he bumps into his next big advertising client, Gloria Long. There is so much that attracts him to her and this is where their story begins.
This story has Jamie's character appearing like a version of Christian Grey but lets be up front here.
There is a lot of layers to both main characters that are slowly revealed as we read the story. There is hot sex....YES...but there are secrets and pasts mistakes along with current family issues that lifts this story up into a new category. It moves along at a constant speed that is perfect in order to learn all the layers that must be revealed. As I finish the first book, I'm eager to begin the next. So many questions to be answered. Where all the players will land, we will need the read the conclusion in the next book. Don't be to disappointed, this will give you a chance to process all that has happened and keep you anticipating the final conclusion. Well written with some very intriguing characters.

Two brilliant, successful, caring people w/secrets get the HOT romance of a lifetime
Gloria has a past based on the “Prologue” and numerous suggestions throughout the book, which she never shares with anyone, except her partner in crime, Kevin, who was there when it happened. Kevin is her gay business partner now. After much hard work and turmoil, they both have become quite wealthy.
Jaime is the wunderkind advertising/marketing owner of ZAP!, which cleverly stands for Zander and People. Loved that name! He is trying to court the new line of Gloria’s Secret and Gloria herself. Will she be another notch on his bedpost or the real thing? Lots of juicy, naughty scenes…
They have an immediate sexual chemistry (loved the meet cute in the elevator) but Vivien Holden has other plans for Jaime and her boss, Gloria. Will Vivien get her way or her due? What about Victor, her father? So much intrigue…
I loved this first book which has an HFN ending. Can’t wait to read the second book. For those of you who also read the THAT MAN series by Ms. L’Amour, you may recognize Zander, Gloria and Gloria’s Secret, which were mentioned quite often. This was a fast-paced story with lots of characters who you need to know more about. Loved the constant innuendoes thrown out by Jaime. Actually, I fell in love with this story before the end of chapter one. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book.

Very good first part
I really liked this introduction with its rather complex characters. This part is at the same time romantic, partly erotic, but above all, it weaves the links of the main characters, their complicated past and the second part which will have much more actions, because of all the plots which convent in this part.
Jaime is a billionaire who is the boss of a major advertising agency. He meets Gloria who is the president of a very famous lingerie company looking for a new agency for her advertising campaign. Day by day, he breaks all her walls. Gloria is a character who both wants to maintain control but is threatened by her majority partnership for her business and by the alpha that is Jaime.
It is obvious that because of their dark past and the end of the first part, the second book will have more action between the Russian mafia, the FBI, Gloria's libidinous partner as well as his sociopathic daughter.

This is my first book by Nelle L'Amour, and I loved it! There is a lot of mystery to it, and a lot of unknowns, but since there are more books in the series, I assume all will be known in the end! I really like Gloria and Jaime. I enjoyed how they met, and I enjoyed the way their relationship developed. Gloria is a strong woman, but also has the ability to be soft and kind, and wants to be cared for and loved. Jaime is not someone to settle down, but he just might be the right person for Gloria, and might settle down for her. The only thing I can say I disliked about the story thus far is the name of her store... Gloria's Secrets. While I understand there could be many reasons for naming it that, such as the many secrets that have yet to be revealed about Gloria, it was just too close to Victoria's Secret, and it was very similar in some aspects. However, it was not enough to turn me off the story. :) The sexy times between the two are hot! This was a great book and I am very much looking forward to book two - Sex, Lust, and Lingerie!

Nelle is new to me, but will definitely join my one-click addiction. There were so many elements in this book I loved. There is strength and confidence yet vulnerability and jealousy between these two characters. There are secrets, lies, hopes and fears.

Throughout the book you learn about their past and how that has made them into the powerhouses they are. I love the banter back and forth as well as the power struggle. There are many steamy moments throughout as well as a crack in armor with some sweetness mixed in.
“He was in my bloodstream, bringing me to new levels of sensuality and self-awareness I’d never known.”
Their past are not to far in the past...I’m waiting for the other shoe to fall later in the series. I can’t wait to read Sex, Lust & Lingerie...book two of the Secrets and Lies Series.

Nelle L'Amour got me again. She has given me 2 wonderful characters that allowed me to completely escape into their world. Gloria is a self-sufficient, successful female that runs her own multi-billion-dollar business. As she looks to start a new product line, she seeks out a new advertising company believing "Jaime", as a woman, would understand the lingerie/sex toy industry and how to sell this to women. However, Jaime is full of surprises when he shows up as a man, the same man she encountered in an elevator that same morning. The push/pull between Gloria and Jaime is fabulous with these 2 strong willed/independent personalities. When they do finally give in, we, the readers get to enjoy the pantie melting sex scenes. The story does end with a big question which has me wondering what will happen next. Excited to dive into part 2! I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Great story; very detailed and involved. This is part one of a three-part story. The characterizations of a large ensemble cast were all very clearly depicted and realistic within the context of the story line. The main male and female characters meet unofficially in a unique fashion. They become involved in business together and also start down to road to a romantic adventure. There are many sexual/sensual scenes but also a large amount of utterly romantic scenes. There are many things afoot in this tale beyond a romance, with some not-so-nice characters hanging around. Excellent way to leave readers hanging at the end of this first part. Got to get to part two for answers.

Our heroine, Gloria, is the CEO of a LA-based lingerie company that's about to branch off a BDSM line thanks to the success of the 50 Shades series. As a result she's seeking a advertising agency that will launch this sexy new line. While in NY, she meets with several agencies to see if they wish to earn her business. She literally runs into our Hero, Jaime, while entering the hotel elevator on the way to meet him at his agency, but she doesn't realize who he is. There are instant sparks between them, but his cockiness stops her "swoony" feelings. Because of past events, Gloria is slow to trust, and doesn't know if Jaime's attentiveness towards her are real or an attempt to win her account. We also learn that her company's primary investor and his daughter, who is Gloria's assistant, are people from Jaime's past. Since this story is told from a dual POV, we know some of the "little" secrets and untold truths both Hero and heroine are keeping from one another. This story does end on a cliffhanger so I can't wait to see how intertwined their lives are in the next book!

I really enjoyed reading this story. The title of the book is so true to its content. There is sex, there are lies and also lingerie. This is also a love story about the two main characters Gloria and Jamie, it is written in dual perspectives so you get to know what each character is thinking. It was easy to follow along and it ends in a cliffhanger but it just leaves you wanting to read the next story because it is the conclusion and it should answer some questions that you will have about what Jamie knows. You’ll have to read the book to find out what Jamie May be hiding. I was gifted an Unedited ARC copy of this book but I am voluntarily leaving my own opinion about the book in this review. I would recommend this book to fans of the Author or fans of Romance and although it ends in a cliffhanger you will not be disappointed. I look forward to the next installment.

I hadn't read this story before so it was all new for me. I absolutely loved it.
I loved the way the story was written using dual POV. It was interesting and very helpful to learn what each were thinking at various times.
The story is about Gloria and Jaime. They both have wounded childhoods and each have their secrets which has shaped who they are and what they have become.
I read this book all in one sitting. I couldn't put it down.
I was on tenterhooks at the end when the book ended. It was a cliffhanger and I wanted to delve into book 2 straight away but alas it wasn't to be as my battery on my kindle ran out.
The sex was Hot!!!!!!.

Now here is a book that will have you squirming in your seat. Wow!
Jamie and Gloria's story is definitely a steam worthy read! I had a smile on my face the entire time.
Sexy lingerie CEO Gloria finds her perfect match in billionaire Jamie, working together though could prove dangerous to them in more ways than one.
Secrets, Past and present get intense as the story goes on. Throw in all the romance that Paris has to offer and it winds down to a cliffhanger that will you shouting at, lol. So good.

Jamie you make me swoon! More so you make Gloria swoon and that’s not easy to do. After a determined rags to riches tale Gloria doesn’t let any slips in her business facade she’s created until... Jamie. And Jaime is so in tune with Gloria and her needs, he’s fallen head over heels and will do anything to win her - all of her. Nelle you have hit it out of the park with this one. I loved the little teaser we got of these two from That Man series and an enjoying the back story. I like having both point of views cause it’s fun to see the different takes on the story. I can’t wait to read the following books and see where their story goes. Nelle’s writing style is so natural it’s almost impossible to put the book down.

Or will other people be able to break Gloria and Jaime apart? This is the first book that I have read by Nelle L'amour. Loved the flow of her writing and was a fast and easy read. I enjoyed the POV of Gloria and the POV of Jaime. I can't wait to read the other books in the series.

I thought this book was very enjoyable . It is book one of three and it introduces readers to Gloria and Jaime. Both of these characters appealed to me and I thought it was very easy to feel the powerful attraction that they shared. Their chemistry was also very hot and steamy. This book is a very intense read. There is a lot of drama, emotional turmoil, secrets, lies and suspense. Of coarse the base for all of this is the genuine and unexpected affection that bloom between these two characters. Avery entertaining read that left me anxiously anticipating book two in this series. I am posting a sincere, voluntary review.

I have read quite a few of Nelle L'Amour's books and she never disappoints. This was a great read. The story line was fast moving and kept my attention. I didn't want to put it down. In addition to romance there is suspense and even hints of lurking danger.
Gloria and Jaime are characters that you want to root for, but they are both leading complicated lives of their own. Neither seems prepared for a relationship because of trust issues in their past, but there is no denying how hard and fast they are falling for one another.
This story is exciting and definitely hot. I couldn't wait to start part 2!

This is the second series I have read by Nelle L'Amour and it will not be my last. Ms. L'Amour is now on my TBR list. The author does an excellent job of drawing you into these characters. Jaime is a bit of mystery and Gloria is a self made millionaire but they both are hiding secrets that could destroy them. The dual points of view was very insightful. This book was very intense, raw and gritty with a range of emotions. The author character develop and subplots made this a great read. While the book ends on bit of a cliff hanger it was well worth it. I highly recommend this book. I cannot wait for the second book in the series.

This was the first series I read by Nelle L'Amour when the was called Gloria's Secrets. I was looking forward to reading it with Jaime's POV. Needless to say Nelle L'Amour did not let me down. It was fun revisiting Gloria and Jaime's story, I had forgotten a lot of things. Gloria and Jaime are very hot together still with me rereading. I enjoyed to getting Jaime's POV, in my opinion it added to the story. In my opinion if you have read Gloria's Secrets I would recommend rereading. Nelle L'Amour did not let me down. In my opinion Nelle L'Amour gives you suspense, and a steam factor off the charts. I would recommend. I read on Kindle Unlimited.

This is my first Nelle L'Amour book and I'm a fan. It had drama, great story and hot chemistry between Gloria and Jamie. And what a wicked twist on how he knows Victor. I would have given it a 5 but it continues in more books. The scene in the ferris wheel was hot but my heart broke a little for Gloria when Jamie gave her the gift and it wasn't what she thought it was. I'd be just as mad as her. I'm normally a fan of books that END with 1 book. But I received the ARC for books 1 and 2 and I really liked it.
