2 ⭐⭐ - Meh!
===========
Easy pussy—that was what I wanted, and that was what I’d always want, ‘til the day I died. I might’ve been thirty now, but I showed no signs of change on that front.

Phoebe. I’d call Phoebe.

I put my phone on speaker on the center island and dialed up my interior designer.

She was a hell of an interior designer, a hell of a good fuck who was up for anything, and she had red hair.

She was probably the only redhead whose name I’d never forget. Grace Wilson.

“Oh fuck,” I said.

When I pulled up at the house that belonged to my ex, my stomach dropped. He was such an absolute dickwad.

Didn’t take a genius to know he’d been expecting someone else. Someone female, probably red-haired, built like a thoroughbred, with curves to kill for.

Same old Cullen.

“And what the hell is that?”

He was more than a player. He was the champion of the game.

She took one look at me and frowned. “Cullen. I don’t do the threesome thing.” “Whoa,” I said, looking at Cullen. “Neither do I.”

Cullen scowled at me and took my elbow. “Grace was just leaving.”

And the dickwad was kicking us out so he could get his fuck on.

I used to stare at it with adoration when we spent long, lazy mornings in bed together.

But Cullen could be so dense, sometimes. Didn’t he see that his daughter had his exact same, piercing silver-blue eyes? She even had that little dimple, right on the center of her chin. I used to stare at it with adoration when we spent long, lazy mornings in bed together. In the silence, it suddenly dawned on him. Cullen wasn’t easy to surprise. He never showed a ripple. All I got was a slight widening of the eyes. He leaned his thick arm against the wall above him and raked a hand through the wild blonde hair. His voice was low, barely a breath. “You’re fucking kidding me, right?”

The kid who couldn’t be mine.

Refused to accept my life was over.

“Never signed up for this kid thing,” I called after her.

I liked my life. And nothing was going to get in the way of what I had.

He probably kept himself fed with pussy and motor oil.

“You got it. You’re smart, baby. And right. If I were you, I wouldn’t want me to be anywhere near that, either.”

But finding out he was a dad wouldn’t change this leopard’s spots. He didn’t want to change.

I’ll give you whatever money you want, on two conditions.”
“One. You keep the kid out of my way. And two, you keep your tight little ass out of my way, you got that, mama?

She knew me, but I had no fucking idea if I’d ever seen her before. “Not unless I get to leave with you.”

There was only one reason I’d brought that woman home to my house tonight. Because I couldn’t get Grace out of my head.

“No. I thought you’d be out later, and Ella was—” “Grace. I. Don’t. Care,” I bit out,

I was raped by one of them, and when my mother found out, she was so beside herself with guilt that she killed herself.

“You’re safe here,” I told her. She pressed her lips together. “Cullen. I don’t know if we’ll ever be safe, anywhere.”

3.5 stars - First time author for me. After reading the book description I went into this one with not so high expectations. I figured it would be the same old OTT man-ho with juvenile dialogue, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality of writing was good and I was drawn into the characters. Yes Cullen is a man-ho at the beginning. Grace was a strong heroine who only ended up back knocking on Cullen's door because she had no where else to go with the baby she had by him from a previous relationship. Cullen is obnoxious at the beginning but realizes Grace is the one love of his life. He doesn't cheat after they reconnect. In fact, he ends up placing Grace and the baby before his beloved MC. Not a bad book at all. It's a stand alone and can be read without reading book 1.

Biker Page Turner

This book gave me an alpha hot biker who was prez of the Steel Cobras MC and was not only dealing with a full out war with the Fury MC but he was also dealing with a surprise of his life when ex-girlfriend Grace came back into his life with a surprise. Would he let anything get in his way when it came to the Cobras especially with the ever present retaliation from the Fury when some of its members were taken out? I loved this biker page turner and can’t wait to read more on Cullen and Grace.

totally the cover pulled me in ...every once in a while i kind of miss reading a MC Romance and I found this bad boy. HOLY MOLY, Bat Man! yep, it is just that steamy hot! Cullen is so cocky-full-of-himself, but aren't most MC Romances sort of like that, there is one or more characters who think that, know that??! 2nd chance, taming that bad boy kind of read??! Trying to think if I have read any of Evie's book before? might be a newbie author to me?!! gotta see, I think Evie is one of those??! I was starting to think that MC Club don't resist but I might have hope??! S.C. back road while camping, we (the hubby and i) got a stare down by a building full of motorcycles, skulls on the front, won't give 2 much info. but they were checking us out and MAN did i wanna stop and ask a few ?'s ... that didn't happen. maybe i'll write a book or 2. Nothing that this happens in Virginia. lol!! the biker dudes we see are like a bunch of 10 or less. the mind does wander. Must read if you are looking for a great MC Romance?? must read. check it out!

This is the second book in the Steel Cobras MC series. Cullen and Grace are the stars of this book. They have history and their present situation is packed with danger, secrets and more. Their chemistry is blistering hot! Can they have a HEA ? Only one way to know is to pick up your copy and find out. You will be drawn in and won't stop reading till you have read the last word. A must read! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book. So ready for the next book!

Nope. I'm totally done with this series. These are the weakest alphas I've read about. Totally reactive instead of proactive that it's unbelieveably frustrating to read about them. They sit around waiting for everything to happen and take control of nothing. When they have an idea to deal with a situation, it's always a stupid idea that never works.

I cannot believe that Cullen is the president of the MC.

I still think that the characters act like juveniles instead of grown men with no one listening to each other and who in their right minds would have Jet in their club. He's so irritating.

I bought book 3 but have now refunded it as I can't bear to read any more of this MC light series.

They knew each other from when they were younger, but he was getting into the local MC world, and she wasn’t sure she could handle him being in it, so she left town without telling him and with a secret.
He was a wild child,a son of rock and roll, but not of the lifestyle. They met again when she came back into town, on her last leg. She didnt want to ask for help but had no other choice. He doesn’t want to face his feelings for her, and she is trying to protect her heart from being hurt again.
He will do anything to protect her and her secret from any danger, he brings in the MC, and she finally sees what he was talking about all those years ago. He cant protect himself from the feelings that were always there but he pushed down for her. The feelings that she has for him that have always been there are coming back up and she is trying to ignore them.
They figure out that they have always loved each other, and have never stopped. Now she has a family and sees why he was in with them so much. They are his family and now they are hers.

I liked the story idea but it didn't flow well. It was frustrating when a character would say one thing and then turn around and do another. Example: Cullen obviously does not want to be a dad. He ignores his daughter. Then one morning, he is holding his daughter to let his ex sleep in. This was totally out of character for him and didn't flow well.

My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.

When Grace walks back into Cullen's life, she upends it in a way he never, ever saw coming.

A few years ago, Grace was Cullen's one and only long term relationship. What they had wasn't exactly ideal, but Grace (and Cullen) had feelings for each other. And yet Grace wanted more, wanted Cullen's priority not to be his MC, the Steel Cobras, but rather his priority to be her. When she knew he would never put her first, she disappeared. Now she's back because she has no other choice. Cullen's got money and a place for her and her daughter to crash. It's only temporary until she can figure something out, but for now it will do. After all, he's Ella's father, so he should have to house them for awhile, right?

But Cullen's dealing with a rival MC, and he's not exactly father material. Nor does he want to commit to the only woman he's ever had feelings for, the woman who up and disappeared on him without a word. But the longer Grace and Ella stay with him, the more their old feelings come roaring back. Can Cullen and Grace make it work this time around? Can he protect his two favorite females from the danger in his life? Will he ever put them first in his life, even over his MC?

I loved this installment of the Steel Cobras MC series. It's super sexy, action-packed and Grace and Cullen are a passionate, exciting couple. I have to admit I didn't like Cullen much at first, but he slowly redeemed himself and by the time the story was done, I could definitely see in him what Grace saw. Can't wait for more of the Steel Cobras MC.

Ugh.
I hate DNFing and I rarely do it, but I’m not wasting my time reading anymore of this book. I’m at 73% and I still hate every single character in this book. Well, ok, Ella the 18 month old toddler is fine. The heroine of this story is a selfish idiot. She has no idea what she’s doing ever, is homeless with her baby, and doesn’t seem to have much in terms of feelings for the hero. I mean there was an explosion at his club house and he almost died, but she’s not concerned with how he’s doing or feeling because she’s too busy complaining about how he paid for the extravagant hotel room for her and how he wastes money. She’s too busy constantly whining about his dedication to his MC to even consider if she had any sort of life, job, family, etc than maybe she’d understand. All she does is whine, complain, and nag Cullen, for example Cullen is finally interacting with the toddler and trying to make Grace, so he picked up Ella while letting Grace sleep. Does Grace say thank you? Is she touched that he’s trying or having a sweet moment with his daughter? Nope. She just starts nagging him that he may splatter food on the kid. She’s just the worst. Having said all that Cullen is an epic jerk. I like my book heroes to a$$holes to some degree, but not to the point that they’d leave a women carrying an 18 month old child on their porch with nowhere to go and without any sort of assistance. Even once he learned that the toddler was his he just didn’t care that much. Then all of a sudden the felt something for Grace again or whatever and decided to keep “his girls.” The writing for the emotional transitions is awful. Even the writing for the MC relationships stinks. The characters don’t feel like brothers or family in any way. This was one of my main issues in the previous book, this supposed MC doesn’t feel like any sort of family. None of the council seem to even like or respect one another that much. This was a huge disappointment for me.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Steel Cobras MC series. Cullen is the president of the Steel Cobras MC and is known as a playboy. Cullen and the club are on the verge of war after killing a rival. One night Cullen was expecting a visit from one of his lady friends when his ex showed up. Grace was the only woman who Cullen ever cared about, until she left one night without a word. Now Grace is homeless and in need of a place to stay, along with her daughter Ella. Cullen lets Grace stay with the baby and when he learns Ella is his, he is shocked. Cullen thinks he can give money to Grace and carry on his life, but the longer Grace is around, the more Cullen realizes he still wants her. Cullen and Grace still have feelings for one another, but Grace wants Cullen to be a father to Ella and leave the MC. The dangers of the upcoming war are getting closer to Cullen and the other members of the MC and Cullen wants to protect everyone. Grace knows Cullen will never leave the MC, so she thinks she has to leave Cullen, only Cullen has other ideas. This was a past paced book with plenty of heat. I loved Cullen, i thought he was a lovable grouch. I love how Cullen became a father and realized what he wanted. Cullen was a strong alpha who protected his family and would do anything for them. Good one.

ONE SPICY HOT MIX!!!
Holy, moly! Hey it's my sentence, I can spell it anyway I want to. Talk about an eye opener. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, along with a few glitches and some unexpected surprises that really rock this read. The drama, danger and suspense keep building throughout and the tension spirals as the tale unfolds. A rollercoaster ride with a plethora of emotions running rampant. A guy just can't catch a break. This is one action packed, fast paced, nailbiting, spine tingling, hard hitting, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, heart pounding, page turning bombshell that captivates from the start. The characters are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The chemistry between the two main characters are off the charts, white hot and explosive. The scenes are so graphically detailed it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Evie did a remarkable job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Evie, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Great page turner... When the Prez of the MC starts to get things underway after an attack at his home. He finds himself always after a red head because of course the past can never escape you. And for him trying to be the best Prez he can be with a no strings attached kind of life, it’s the one that ran away that has hardened him. Until one day with a knock on the door his life will not only be changed but at what risk will he go to make it secured once his rivals find out what’s standing in front of him. And yes as you might have guessed it’s the one that got away and she has his baby girl with him and is in dire need of a place to stay. Will the club again come first after the Bomb shell she has just dropped that he is a daddy and needs to step up in her dire state or will he revert back to the MC person who will always put club before all else. Will the love of this life and daughter become collateral damage or will everyone make it out with what they want. So grab your copy and enjoy the ride.

Evie's stories never let me down. Once again she has written a passionate, gritty, romantic tale about two characters who are meant to be together. This book is well-written, flows well and held my attention to the end. Dark twists, suspenseful, intense, riveting, this story packs a punch. Cullen is the President of the Steel Cobras and loves being single. Grace, Cullen's ex comes back to the club to ask for help. She has a beautiful little girl with her. Cullen, still in love with Grace is shocked to find out that he is a father. Their chemistry is hotter and stronger than ever. Unfortunately the Cobras are at war with a rival club. Can Cullen keep Grace and his daughter Ella safe? Will Grace and Cullen get a second-chance at love? If you're looking for a thrilling emotional story that will hold your attention right to the end, then “Cullen” is the one.

Cullen is Book 2 of the Steel Cobras MC Series. He is the President of this California MC and the club is currently at war with the rival group, Hell's Fury. It's in the midst of this chaos that his former live-in girlfriend and currently homeless Grace and her two year old daughter, Ella shows up at his mansion's door looking for help. He lets them in an stay for the night until it's revealed he is Ella's dad.
Going forward from this realization, the storyline deals with Cullen's adjusting to fatherhood and it's impact with his role as a President during this MC conflict. Which comes first? His guys or Grace and Ella? It's not always clear to him. And Grace has her own issues to deal with given her upbringing.
This was a very well written storyline and it's another Evie Monroe book that I found myself hooked and remained engaged throughout until the end.
I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book.

Ms. Monroe has completely enthralled me again with this book. The Steel Cobras is definitely a series worth pursuing. Cullen is the MC President for a reason and he is about to prove why, all over again. As a natural born leader, becoming President is all he strived to be; even when it cost him the only woman he ever loved, Grace. He continually buried himself in Cobra business and pleasure until she returns again. This time as the Mother to his almost 2 year old, Ella. Can Cullen possibly offer forgiveness and acceptance? Find out here, in the 2nd installment in this impressive series. Ms. Evie Monroe never leaves her readers hanging and always publishes top quality books. Loved it.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Cullen in exchange for my honest opinion and voluntarily given opinion. I enjoyed this book as well as the series this far and highly recommend reading. Can't wait to see what is next.

Great read

Fantastic red hot bad boy biker and the girl who games him. Cullen is president of the Steel cobras and Grave is the girl who ran out on him a couple of years ago and now she is back with a baby in tow his baby that she never told him about. They quickly fall back into bed together and the chemistry between them is off the scale but trouble is not far away. The rival club the furies are out for Cullens blood and try to take him out using Grace against him luckily he wins through but kills three of their men in the process and war between the two clubs is declared. After their ordeal he declares his love for Grace and Ella and proposes. There is a lot happening in this story and the war still has to be won looking forward to the next book so far an excellent series.

Two years ago, Grace left determined to get away from Cullen and his MC lifestyle. After his childhood, Cullen doesn't understand love and only knows his MC and fast women. She needs his help, but his life is dangerous. Will Grace be able to trust Cullen? Will Cullen be able to keep Grace safe?

Absolutely loved seeing Cullen get his Happy Ever After. Have to admit after hearing about Cullen's lifestyle in the previous book in the series, I was interested in what kind of man he would be when he fell and he didn't disappoint. I didn't blame Grace for thinking of running and for her actions because she was determined to put her daughter first, but was proud when she stood by him and gave him a chance. Great read!

So on the market at the moment, are a few books which state that they are MC books and you read them.......and it’s all about the relationship not so much about the MC and their lifestyle. I’m not complaining because I love anything romance but if you want a real MC book with the ‘lifestyle’, then look no further because here it is!

Cullen is the President of the Steel Cobras, there is a war on the horizon.....and when he opens the door expecting his flavour of the night.....his ex Grace is there instead, oh and with a little girl. Cullen annoyed me initially with his offhanded nature with regards Grace and the little girl, but the more I got to know him the more he grew on me. Loved this story and I’m intrigued to see what happens with the war and who is getting their story next😍

Sexy Hot Mess of an MC

I gave this book four stars because the *romance* is on par with what I enjoy. While Grace and Cullen certainly have hijinks and serious situations to deal with, these two, especially Cullen, don’t play with each other too much.
Plot wise and series wise, my feelings are mixed. Book 2, like book 1, centers almost entirely around the couple, with minor MC plot lines. As a result, these fast-paced books are moving a little too fast to establish a real understanding of the MC or the other guys, so if you also like the excitement of MC drama in your MC romance, it’s lacking here. They seem to be playing at MC life (they only just got a clubhouse?!) and in this book, Cullen comes across as a stunningly incompetent Prez. Not just with the choices he makes re: Grace, but overall, I have no idea how or why this MC functions, or much about the other guys. Drake is next and I have no idea what to expect. But I’m sure Monroe will write a great love story, so it’s on the list!

Surprise surprise Cullen, grace is back with something of yours. Cullen is devoted to his Club, who are his family. Cullen has to decide what is best for grace and Ella. Being that Grace is the one he could never forget, can he keep her in Ella in his life or does he make a huge sacrifice. Grace makes her wishes are clear in this story. Their story was so good, full of love, hate, instant love and devotion. It has twists, action and of course happy ever love. This is my honest review for a book I volunteered to read, however I'm going to buy it because it was that great and you should one click it also

A great second chance romance that is full of love, hate, danger, passion, love and devotion. It has twists and turns, with exciting action and suspense on the way to a HEA. The MCs are in the middle if a rival war with Cullen the president being reunited with his ex and a baby appearing on his doorstep in need of a home and money. Grace lost her job and became homeless, she knew Cullen was her only hope, if she and her baby to survive. I really enjoyed the feeling of danger and family associated with the MC as Cullen learns that he can have his club and family without feeling like let the club down. A must read addicting intense romance. I voluntarily reviewed this standalone ARC.

OH MY GOSH! Evie Monroe writes the most intense stories!!! LOVE them! The book had me captivated from page one until I was done!!

Cullen is the President of his MC. He lives, eats and breaths for this club. That is, until a cute little curve ball invades his life!! He was so happy with the way his life was, but now that his ex-girlfriend and his child showed up on his doorstep? Well, he does tings he never thought he'd do.

There were so many twists, turns, hot scenes, and nail biting moments in this story! I'm not a fan of tattoos in my real life, but in a book it's a different story. All that ink fit Cullen's personality perfect! He was bad a$$!!

Wow!!! Cullen is the moody, super hot president of the Steel Cobras. He is dealing with plenty since their rival club is determined to get rid of them. Things get messier for Cullen when the only woman he couldn't forget knocks on his door, with a baby girl in her arms! The last thing Grace wants to do is go back to Cullen, but she is desperate. She has kept his daughter a secret and even though they really couldn't forget each other Cullen is determined not to get attached again. I love their second chance at love while Cullen's world comes crashing down around them. He vows to keep them safe, but he isn't sure if his heart will stay safe with Grace back. It's such a good story!

Great!

I chose this rating because I really enjoyed the book. I enjoyed most of the characters as well. This was a book about doing the right thing. After Grace came back into Cullen's life with a baby, his baby that he knew nothing about. So she had to introduce him to their daughter. He didn't take it to well at first. But as you know a babies always grow on you. : He was the man that will protect what it was he is. He had to go through a few obstacles he and Grace did. They had to make sure baby Ella was safe and her mommy also. This was a really great read. I recommend this book to all romance and MC lovers.

Cullen and Grace had a past one that he had put behind him but when she wrung his doorbell he never expected it would be her on the other end. In fact he was expecting his interior decorator who he fooled around with on the side. One look at Grace and all the memories came roaring back to the forefront and she had a baby to boot his baby!
Coming from a dysfunctional family Cullen didn’t think he would make father of the year. Grace wanted a family something she never had but wanted so badly. Can these two find a way to work out the rough patches and ride into a happily ever after? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

This amazing second chance romance is raw, gritty, fast-paced, action-packed with surprises, twists, danger, and suspense. The well-defined and intense H is alpha male, flawed, determined and willing to fight for what is his. The H and h have past history and have a bumpy road ahead. This is a very entertaining, engaging book and I liked it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

This is book 2 in the series and just as good as book 1. This book is about the Cobras president Cullen and Grace who he dated a few years back. When she shows up on his doorstep with baby in tow, what will he do??? With the Fury being a bit too quiet and revenge on their mind will he be able to keep the girls safe? Will they be able to pick up where they left off?? You'll have to read the book to find out.

Oh what a wild ride, a second chance romance, motorcycle clubs, hot alpha male biker, a strong independent woman with a baby, what more could you want.I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and their story, this was a cover to cover non-stop read for me, I couldn't put it down. There was plenty of action, twists and turns, a bomb and a gun fight, this is one book you won't want to miss.

Big MC disappointment!

This book was a complete let down! I had high hopes, bikers, red headed heroine(partial due to me being red head), MC read, romance. What I got was a wimpy president of the MC, a female lead that was a b!t©h, who was a runner at first sign of trouble, a prez that leaves his men behind when he's supposed to be their leader and stupid side characters! Thank goodness free with ku or I'd be p!$$€d I shelled out $$ for this disappointing read!
