I read this older couple romance right after reading another one titled 50 and Found Love by Cynthia Shaw which was in my opinion awful. I was worried after reading Shaws' older couple tale but this story has much more substance and realism. It shows Calvin and Faydra developing personally and professionally, learning and growing in both arenas. It touches on areas from painful pasts to ongoing ignorant rascism. And it provided some delightful insights into the world of media marketing which I found interesting. There's a proverbial jealous ex and a bit much as far as the sex scenes for me but overall it's good! 😉
The Billionaire's Over 40 Love. This book was good. I enjoyed reading how Faydra learns how to overcome obstacles that hinders her from moving on and loving a new. Calvin came into her shop and mesmerized her,but it was hard to accept because of her past relationship. He also brought drama with him in the form of an ex-girlfriend that refuses to let him go. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
Faydra is not looking for love after a recent breakup. But she finds undeniable chemistry with Calvin. She is not sure about what is happening but is drawn to Calvin. I enjoyed the realism in this story and the way they were able to move past things to get to that love.
I emailed joyed this book. I felt like the lead female character had similar issues. I learned some positive was to cope with my insecurities. This was a good read.
