Criminal mastermind Torrez Muñoz is the head of the Muñoz cartel, the most feared criminal empire in Columbia. He loves their two daughters, Zinnia and Ren, intensely and often declares that his wife Sia is the love of his life. But you wouldn’t know that by his controlling and abusive ways and his public acknowledgement of his side piece. So, imagine his surprise when Sia disappears into the night with Ren, circumstances causing her to leave Zinnia behind. The disappearance of his wife and daughter shakes his whole world. Even after years later, it’s his sole mission to recapture his heart by bringing his daughter home. However, his mission leads to so much more… Remarried with two more daughters, Torrez finally learns the location of Ren and devises a plan to retrieve her. Except, Ren is no longer the little girl that he remembers…she’s so much more. What he’s not prepared for are the new revelations that are discovered. He gets so much more than he bargained for. Adversity flows down like a torrential rainstorm all over Torrez and his children’s personal lives. No one is exempt from the rampant downpour. Will these new revelations be an added bonus to his empire? Or will they ruin his dreams of a happy family reunion? Whose relationships will drown? Will they all make it out of their adversity stronger and better than before? Transitioning his cartel into the hands of his daughters, Torrez’s enemies think it a vulnerable time for his empire, prompting a civil war on the family. Protecting their empire and their family, the Muñoz sisters investigate who is gunning for them, not knowing that the enemy may be closer than they think. A camouflaged snake. Friend or foe. Will the snake strike first and finally take down the powerful cartel? Or, will the sisters bite first, cutting off the head of the snake? Twyla T. Presents introduces emerging author Glitz in her debut story that follows the Muñoz cartel family as they deal with love, relationships, reunions, betrayal, and raging enemies. Check out how it all goes down in the first installment of this Two Pistols Shawty series.
This was my first read by this author. These sisters were something else and then some. Enjoyed the storyline and I couldn't put it down. So loving these characters and that ending had me wanting more. Can't wait to see what happens in the next installment. Good job Glitz.
These women are ruthless and their men is just as bad. Chid,Rose,Danni and Zinnia are sisters of destruction. Rema i can't stand her and i pray Danni find out about the snake she is. Jewel ughhh i pray Cee don't have to put up with her for the next 18yrs. Zinnia and Quip are two peas in a pod. I love them together. Its about to go down if something happens to Ren.
This story is so action oriented. The movie plays out in my mind as I read. The sisters find themselves battling in personal lives and warring in their professional lives. This book is captivating with a good plot and lively characters. This is a good debut for this author. Looking forward to reading part two.
Omg great book. Love the sisters names. Very unique. Lies deceit and backstabbing. Hopefully Rema will get here sooner than later. These chicks in this book isn’t anything to mess with. Waiting on part 2
It was a lot going on but I loved every minute of it. I loved the sisters. Cee bout to set the streets on fire. Rema is dirty bitc. I wish Cee would have told Dani about her earlier. About to read part 2. Hurry and 1 click
I can bet my last that Jewels and Rema are working together on some jealousy mess. If not they're connected to it somehow, someway. I hope the Muñoz sisters get them right along with all their enemies.
This was a excellent read. I love the Munoz Family. This was well written and I loved all of the characters. With the ending I definitely can't wait for part 2
Starts off slow and you have to carefully read to keep up with the characters but I'm glad I stuck with it. Overall it was an interesting storyline that holds your attention.
I don’t know really , what to think about the story . It took me some time to get into the story , then I get lost again . I am not really sure if I want to read part 2 .
