A dark villain, a cursed stone, and a hero who will steal her heart…
When a ruthless psychopath accuses her of harboring a magic stone, Caitlin Reed's perfectly structured life is turned upside down.
Now the only thing standing between death and salvation is the sexy Scottish warrior sent from the past to save her. Ewen MacLean is tall, dark, impossibly gorgeous, and hiding secrets of his own.
Can she trust him?
As they work together to track down the lost stone, she discovers things are not what they seem. Dark truths are revealed, and when danger and desire mix, she learns the real threat may not be the man holding them hostage.
The real threat might just be the ancient magic burning inside her.
Stone Cursed is the first installment of the Gods and Fate series, an action-packed fantasy romance with dark twists, where an ordinary woman discovers just how far she’ll go to save the people she loves.
ONE WILD ADVENTURE!!! Wow! Talk about taking a leap. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, along with a few bumps and bangs really make for one incredibly wild experience. The drama, deceit, lies, betrayal, danger and suspense builds throughout and tension thickens as the story unfolds. The characters are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The scenes are so vividly detailed it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Lora did a remarkable job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Lora, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
This fantasy has a really arresting start and there is more action to follow. Caitlin adventures in this book are simply horrible the author uses nightmarish and this was right before the book ended. It all starts with a stone. I do not want to say too much it will take away the joy of reading this thrilling fantasy. This is book one and if the other books are like this one it will be a winner. A world-class book you will not go wrong with. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Caitlin thinks she is just getting her life in order - She is about to adopt a son, and plans to move to a new school district to escape her ex husband, his new wife and the baby they are expecting. Then strange things begin to happen, and she meets Ewan. and is thrown into a world of time travel, magic and murder. It is an absorbing story that is hard to put down! Loved it, and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

TIME BOUND The Time Bound Series Book 1 Lora Andrews
What a wonderful new book. I loved the adventure and thrills. There were twists and turns I never would have even thought to guess of. That is what makes a book great to me. It kept me on my toes. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Caitlin was a wonderful heroine. I am sure her ongoing adventures will be just as amazing!!!
This is a great book, the characters are very intriguing, the storyline is well written. There's adventure, drama, suspence and some twisting and turning in this book. Can't wait to read the next book.

I thoroughly enjoy Lora's writing - her world/character building is really good, and there's always enough humor and adventure to keep me engaged and purchasing the next book..

This first book in the Time Bound series was a highly intriguing and engaging read, really drawing the reader in. I loved it and would definitely recommend the story to anyone who likes a good suspenseful adventure with some magic, a little time travel, and just a twist of romance (involving a very hunky and quite funny Scottish warrior). I'll definitely be looking out for book 2! NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions
With a likeable hero and a really nasty villain and lots of dramatic Countryside how could this story Miss? First of all the heroine struggles constantly with her purpose in life and everything else. There is no effing certainty to this woman until she's driven up against the wall. She's a good-hearted girl who is tormented by so many things that it's amazing that she ever gets anything done.
It seems that I prefer stories where the leading lady acts with purpose and overcomes obstacles through hard work not just blind luck.
This is almost like one of those old-time melodramas where the heroine is rescued from Snidely Whiplash at the last minute by the hero.
If you like a paranormal novel with lots of internal dialogue and second-guessing, this is the novel for you. As frustrating as it was to read I could not put the book down until I finished it!
In summary I think I prefer my heroines with the little less angst and more determination.
What a book!! Lora is a great author who spins such a fantastic tale!! I wanted to finish it in one sitting but alas I couldn’t due to its length. The pages just flew by and I was totally drawn into it and the drama that was played out within its pages.
You must begin this series! Begin with Rising Storm and then start Time Bound. Lora’s magical writing will hold you in her spell and at the end of the book you will be hungry for the next book- I know I am!!
This book deserves twenty stars not just five. It really is that good! The action is nonstop right from the beginning. I really can’t praise this book and author enough. Find out why I love this series so much yourself. It’s like the old Life cereal commercial. Try it you’ll like it-but no you won’t like it you’ll love it!!
I usually don’t like time travel from the past books. I tend to think of all the ways it couldn’t work etc. I started the book and almost turned it back in but I am so glad I didn’t!!! What a great plot and fantastic story telling. I fell in love with all the characters and loved how the author took the time to flesh out the secondary characters to really get the reader to invest in the book. Sort of ends on a cliff hanger but she set you up to kind of expect it and the next book is already out.
It took me a little while to get into the story. Things weren’t immediately clear. But as I read on I started really liking it. I loved Caitlin. A story packed full of action, time-travel, and magic. I found it imaginative and easy-to-read once I got into it. Maybe too much self-doubt. But good all the same!

I thoroughly enjoyed this read from a new author. Caitlin and Ewen were fantastic together, and his humor cracked me up. A fast-paced can't-put-it-down read. So much suspense, intrigue, twists and turns. Great world-building with a villain I detested and a hero I loved. I can't wait to read book two.
Three stars is generous. For a heroine who doesn't eat much, she often feels the need to vomit. Her 15th century highlander has trouble with understanding 21st century language, yet had no trouble using the word "coup". The characters are 2 dimensional and I cared so little about them that I do not intend to read the second book, in spite of the cliffhanger.
This was a good read with an interesting plot, well-rounded characters, and a story that doesn't lag. Also, the author ends with a cliffhanger and a taste of book 2 that will make you want to keep on reading.
The story drags and the reader and the characters are clueless for too long. Wish the plot had been focused and the details explained. You are not sure what the goals are for any character.
