This story is a humdinger. You won't see it coming and this story is the first in the series and it has one heck of a cliffhanger. I enjoyed it but the cliffhanger took me out.

Jessica Manson is a new author to me and this is a great story. Lilith has been left an orphan and she’s been sent to her aunts who is a horrible horrible woman, Lilith finds out that when she turns 18 she becomes a vampire- witch hybrid a very unique one at that. Lilith is a very immature girl she practically has no one and it’s understandable with all of what she went through and what she’s about to go through, Lilith is betrayed by a person that she loves which rips her to shreds. This is a great story and I recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

I started this audiobook book a while back. I generally do not grab a fantasy book. I really enjoyed the twist in this story. The ending was a great bridge into the next book. The author leaves you needing to read what happens next. This book is a great coming of age with just the right amount of fantasy mix.

I just couldn’t connect with this book, I don’t know why, don’t know if it was the immaturity of the main character 🤷🏻‍♀️

Overall I think this will be an awesome new paranormal world to discover.

I enjoyed the surprise with the group sounds in the narration
