An insightful, knowledgeable, beautifully written essential crystal collectors item for anyone who are interested in crystals and integrating their powerful energies into their daily life. This was both a fun and informative book to read. I am extremely happy that I purchased this book, i highly recommend this book for anyone who's interested in crystals. I have rose quartz in my bathroom thanks to reading this book
Everyday Crystal Rituals Makes Working with Crystals Accessible to Everyone - Great Guide & Resource I’ve been a fan of Amethyst and Rose Quartz since I first encountered them as a little girl at Rock Tumblers vendor booth at a Flea Market my family frequented. I loved my two little necklaces, one of each. My running joke now as an adult is, “I never met a Quartz I didn’t LOVE and want to take home with me.” Whenever I am at a store or event which features them, we kind of bond and I want them all.
I’ve picked up a handful of books over the years on Crystals, but they always were a bit bland and didn’t really tell me much about them other than as a pretty picture book and listings of possible attributes each crystal rock has. They were nice. But I couldn’t really do anything with them.
I’ve watched some videos online that went into a bit more depth about using crystals for home practice and rituals as part of your personal prayer and meditation practices. But again, I felt they hardly touched the surface.
What a delight then to discover Naha Armady’s book! She has a deep and rich expertise in metaphysical studies and Western Mystery traditions. It shows throughout her book. At the same time, she makes all of the metaphysical and Mystery work accessible to everyday people who are interested in enjoying crystals, working with them, and including them in their home spiritual practices.
This wonderful personal guide to working with and enjoying crystals in our lives is comprised of 3 sections:
Part 1: The Way of Abundance, which addresses the importance of mind set and personally selecting your crystals.
Part 2: Love, Money, and Home which provides more of the actual rituals and simple practices covering Rituals for Love, Rituals for Wealth, Career, and Abundance, and lasting Rituals for the Home.
Part 3: The Power of Crystals which is a 100 page guide to 100 crystals, 1 page devoted to each crystal. The page includes a great photo reproduction of the crystal, and then cites its place of Origin, Color Variation, its Element or Elements, to which Chakra it relates, its Qualities or attributes, its Healing Properties, how to Care for it to keep it working well and not get its energy all gunked up with use over time, and lastly specific Tips related to that crystal such as times and situations when to carry it with you. I included a photo of the page for Amethyst just to give you an idea, hopefully without impinging on Naha's intellectual property.
I haven’t done any of the rituals yet, but in reading them, since today is Winter Solstice, I’m thinking to do something in conjunction with her suggested ritual, which she invites you to make your own, which is marvelous so we can customize them all to our own Faith Community’s practices. Certainly the cleaning and preparing is useful for every season transition. They could be augmented then for New Years and Chinese New Year celebrations, according to your traditions.
You might think the price is a bit hefty for other books perhaps the same size. The cost is well worth it! The reason it costs as much as it does it for the wealth of great quality images of the crystals provided both in the Crystal Profiles reference area as well as liberally intersperse throughout the book.
This is a must have for any fan of crystals and student, practitioner, and expert on metaphysics and transpersonal work. It makes what could have been highly esoteric mainstream accessible, akin to bringing yoga into gyms and spas. This is a crystal resource book you will turn to again and again and add little post it note stickies to as you customize the rituals to make them your own and fit your own spiritual and religious practices.
I highly recommend.
I received a copy from the Publisher to write an honest review.
An insightful, knowledgeable, beautifully written essential for anyone interested in crystals and integrating their powerful energies into their daily life. As a lover of metaphysics, I have been drawn to crystals and started collecting them for quite some time now. However, I’ve struggled with incorporating all the crystals I owned into day to day rituals beyond meditation. In the beginning of the book, Naha states: “Crystals can elevate our healing, assist in meditation, and help us achieve our goals, but they need to be taken off the shelf” - this sentence struck a chord with me as I feel like I haven’t given the necessary attention to my crystals. That is why I feel like Everyday Crystal Rituals is the book I have been waiting for - unlike most books about crystals which focus solely on identification and properties, Naha Armády’s book is a practical guide on how to use crystals as tools to elevate your life. It is also a book written from the heart, helping the reader relate to the experience of the author from the very beginning.
The first part of the book - The Way of Abundance - is a captivating introduction to what crystals are, how to tune into their frequency based on their elemental and energetic correspondences, as well as why intention is key in working with stones. This first part also includes a brief explanation on the significance of moon cycles, meditation, and the preparation for crystal rituals. Rather than jumping directly into the rituals, Naha sets the mood for a profound crystal practice, allowing the reader to explore the meaning behind the different facets of this type of metaphysical work.
Naha asserts: “Love accelerates internal healing through its positive energy, and external healing through connection, empathy, and understanding”. I enjoyed the focus on heart-centeredness as the root of love, and this idea is deeply reflected throughout the book. The second part of the book is an informative collection of practical rituals that are explained in a clear and concise manner without making the reader feel overwhelmed. Yet, the way in which the rituals are written spark inspiration and make the reader feel powerful - that they can actually take the necessary steps to learn to live a life that is self-directed.
I appreciated the breakdown of the rituals into three focused categories: “Love,” “Money,” and “Home”. The rituals are outlined into a sequence that made sense to me, “from working on your inner self to creating outward change to strengthening your spiritual practice”. My personal favorite rituals are “Full Body Love,” “Removing Roadblocks,” “Rainbow Maker: Chakra Attunement,” and “Motivation for Maintenance”. The last part of the book is a comprehensive directory of 100 crystals profile that can be used in all kinds of rituals. I found it to be concise and highly relevant to the crystal practices outlined in the book. I enjoyed that Naha also included relevant crystals at the end of each section of the book as well for easy reference.
Everyday Crystal Rituals, while coherently structured, is also wholehearted and extremely relevant. Immensely readable and informative, it is a book that also feels very personal. I am excited to have this excellent resource to guide me in my crystal work, and I am looking forward to trying more of the rituals!
I received this complementary copy from Callisto Publishers and became fascinated immediately when I scanned the book. The picture of the stones were mesmerizing. The explanations of each stone was practical and heartfelt rather than from an encyclopedia. I found myself engaging with each stone being attracted to some more than others. Each picture allowed me to almost "touch" a real manifestation of the stone. I love looking at these pictures and it is a meditation onto itself.
One of the stones where I actually felt my heart opening was the amythyst. I have a chipped stone necklace made from amythyst chips and wear it almost everyday. I put it under my pillow to assist me in falling asleep.
No doubt that Naha Armady is a master with ritual and using stones as a vehicle for manifesting healing in so many areas of life. With all of her experience and her seeking out teachers who inspire her work, she transfers that inspiration into her heartfelt writing. She is one engaged woman in living a full and fulfilling life. Such purpose! WoW!
Wouldn't it be marvelous to have each of the stones highlighted in this phenomenal book? I am practicing some of the rituals and find such transcendence and expansion while in the journey of the ritual.
I thank Naha Armady for her contribution to world service with this book. Rituals release good hormones for health and well being and this book allows such a variety. What value!!!
Everyday Crystal Rituals is an authentic treasure-trove of intuitive, researched, and practiced knowledge. I feel so fortunate to have Naha’s insightful rituals (not to mention ONE HUNDRED INCREDIBLE, original crystal profiles!) in book form. Not only does Naha write in a clear, flowing manner, she has also organized each section with great thoughtfulness. I would highly recommend this new, vital, essential, MUST-HAVE reference guide for anyone interested in crystals, crystal healing, energy healing and more! As an intermediate crystal user myself, I wanted a comprehensive crystal guide that wasn’t based purely on crystal identification or purely ritual or crystal grid. Naha nailed it with this one! It’s the perfect all-encompassing crystal guide for the everyday person. I can’t wait to see another book from Naha and am so grateful to have this one! Already planning to purchase a copy for ALL of my friends and family this holiday!
I’ve used crystals in spells and rituals in the past but never had a strong understanding of their qualities, correspondences, and uses. I didn’t realize that I actually own some really valuable and useful stones already... I only had them because I thought they were pretty. This book actually touches on that, telling us that you might be surprised to find out that a stone you felt drawn to was precisely the one you needed for a specific intention. I appreciated the pictures of the “power” crystals, and the instructions on how to cleanse and charge each one—specifically which ones should not get wet, as well as tips for getting the most out of each one. This book is well written, easy to read, and presents the information like an educational reference rather than a spell book or spiritual guide.
Many of the rituals are only 5 steps and can be done in less than 5 minutes—it’s like a quick start guide to the crystal kingdom! This is a great book for anyone who admires crystals, and wants to give them more attention. The rituals can be easily incorporated into an existing metaphysical practice or the everyday routine that needs some more positive energy. The descriptions of 100 crystals at the end of the book is especially helpful for those unfamiliar with crystals’ metaphysical properties. As someone who works with crystals, I especially appreciated the rituals for the home. I have many crystals laying around my house, as do friends and family members, and this book advocates that they aren’t just stagnant decor—properly cleanse and work with them so they radiate good vibes!
I don't know if crystal vibrations actually affect us, but I think color therapy and manifesting things can be beneficial. I also like rocks because they're pretty lol And I also like the symbolism of beauty coming out of great pressure or chaos. This book is decent. The pictures are great and the author isn't too over the top like some other books on the subject. It would be better if there were more pictures of the rituals and if the layout wasn't split up like it is in the crystal section. There are many other crystals not listed, so you would want to own other crystal books if this subject interests you.
I’m new to using crystals in my life even though I really love raw crystals, and I found this book to be an excellent introduction. The rituals are easy and accessible and I can definitely see incorporating some practices into routines. I liked that the book felt grounded in practicality and the rituals fit within a modern busy lifestyle while also providing a welcome opportunity to slow down, pause, and be intentional. The reference pages at the back are missing a few crystals I feel are common but I love the descriptions of the many that are included.
I have always loved crystals and carry them daily. This book it such a great refresh for me. I love the setups, what crystals are great for things going on in your life. The author gives you insight on what each crystal profiles are. Its a worthy read not just a long time crystal healers and ones starting out.
There are wonderful bright pictures of each stones and wonderful setups to help with things going on with you.
One of my new favorite books. I received this free from the publisher for my honest review, and I honestly loved it. The book is mapped out beautifully, and there are soo many pages filled with advice that will assist you in living a better life with the use of crystals.
I have always had a curiosity about what people used Crystal's for. This book was a helpful guide to understanding the specific properties of different stones as well as their use. I received a free review copy of this book from the publisher.
This guide has a collection of crystals to look through and work with, rituals, and a history on how to use the crystals and why. Beginners and experts will benefit from this east to understand book!
