Great book. First book I have ever read by this author. I will read more.

Lacy Morgan lived on the ranch and loved every minute of it. But there were problems. She was trying to run it best she could. She wanted to run a sanctuary for horses and any abused animals.
She took in one injured horse. She never thought she ever see they man who walked out of her life at her ranch. Yup Chaney was in the barn with her ranch hand. Well they were all family who worked for her.
She gave Chaney a chance. He also rescued a dog.
What happens between these two is so darn heartbreaking and heartwarming.

Oh my - all the feels!
This was a very well written story with great character development, and interlacing histories. I really liked the man vs nature element of this story, and how the animals were all characters themselves. Great read, quick to get through because you can't put it down. :D
