Meet retired cop, Sam Prichard.

“Mr. Prichard, it said, the people you see in the photos will be killed within the next forty-eight hours, unless you stop me. I have been following your exploits closely, and I think that you are the one I need to make sure I stop doing this. I've been trying for more than fifteen years to kick this habit, but I can't.

Normally, I don't strike so many times so close together, but in order to get you interested, I'm going to up the odds. I need you to do only two things: discover who each of my victims is, and then do all you can to stop me before I can kill each one.

The first one will die exactly twenty-four hours after you receive this note.

The second will die twelve hours after that...

...and the third twelve hours after that.

If you cannot stop me before I can kill the third one, then no one can. Then there will be a fourth victim, but you get no clues for that one.

Good luck."

Another winner!

Once again you took us all for a great ride. The characters are so real you feel you actually know them. I get a kick our of the moms and Beauregard. Herman has his moments as well. Samson, well we will just have to pray for the pour thing. Great job.

“The Kill List”, fifth in the 'Sam Pritchard' series, is good in parts.
Sam is drawn into a game by a serial killer - he's given a series of disguised photographs and told that unless he can identify them in time they will be killed.
As is the case with the series in general the author isn't happy with any run of the mill serial killer, this one has mad skills, a list of kills in the double digits at least, and Sam is the only one (with some help from Indie and Hermann) to realise that he exists.
And he seems to know Sam's every move in advance!
The music lyrics continue (I wish they wouldn't) and there is a peculiar chapter where Sam, Indie and Kenzie attend church and the reader is subjected to the entire sermon (I flash read it and it is nothing more than the usual religious twaddle.)
It's an easy and fast read but it just isn't particularly innovative - the plots so far in the series could mostly have been taken from existing TV shows or movies.
3 Stars.

The book was on par with the rest of the series for the most part. Sitting through a literal sermon in a church service was a little too much for me. I might have been able to tolerate that if that part of the story had any impact at all on the plot... but it didn't. I openly admit to not having patience for that sort of thing in real life so I don't appreciate being ambushed with it in a novel. Admitting that I deducted a star for this, I hope you will adjust my rating based on your own tolerances.

A killer who is playing a deadly game with Sam Prichard. Sending him a grainy phot and to figure out who the people are. With a note left on the windshield of another clue. Finding before a. Retain time and the person will live. Killing saying he can’t stop and want Sam to stop him from it. A good cat and mouse game and finding out who the killer is.

The Kill List

Book 5 in the Sam Pritchard series has Sam being challenged by a Serial Killer. The Killer sends Sam a list with three pictures of people that he plans to kill within 48 hours, unless Sam can figure out who they are. The interesting part is that the previous case Sam worked on holds the key to solving this crime

I really enjoy these books. They are very wholesome and although they have adventure and plenty of violence i it has that nice wholesome feel to it. They’re nice and short so they’re easy to get through and I like the characters. I’m looking forward to reading more of the books in this set and series.

I just cannot do anymore. As I mentioned before I was excited a little with the first book but then disappointment with all the others. I wanted to finish this but I’m going to stop. It’s just way over the top, I feel the story itself was horrible along with the ending. I felt it was a good simple fun read with the first book but now it’s even below simple And no more fun.

Once again, for me a great read by author David Archer. I was in to this one from the very beginning and it moved at a rapid pace. A surprise ending finished up a taut and suspense filled thriller for me. Now starting on book 6 in the series.

This book was funny, engaging, fast-paced, and contained a couple of twists that caught me by surprise. It does contain some religious information, which may be annoying to some people, but the information is tied to the plot of the story.

Death

David Archer has written a series about a retired police officer who has become a PI. In these books is a tale worth reading. I have no doubt there are men and women out there that have protected the country and world against all odds. Read!!!!

Great story

It amazes me how Archer creates these storylines. Sam and Indie deal with terrible criminals. Yet, there is hope through the religious references. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.
