“The Traditional Text of the N.T. is a phenomenon which sorely exercises Critics of the new school. To depreciate it is easy: to deny its critical authority, is easier still: to cast ridicule on the circumstances under which Erasmus produced his first (very faulty) edition of it (1516), is easiest of all. But to ignore the Traditional Text,' is impossible.” J. W. Burgon p. 197

Such a brilliant sequel to “Which Bible?” This book contained not as much individual articles, but instead thorough treatises upon the issue. It was scholarly (especially in Burgon’s section). However, it was well worth the read.
