I enjoyed this holiday romance with plenty of action that moved right along. I liked the characters sensitivity toward family and each other. Although nearly love at first sight, the relationship building awareness was pretty good. While running Lexi slips on the ice and collides with Callum on his motorcycle then realizes he his her new billionaire boss.

I'm conflicted when I think of this book. On the one hand, I was completely engaged and wanted to know how things would turn out. On the other hand, I didn't particularly like Callum, and the major conflict had me rolling my eyes.
Callum was a little too handsy for my taste. I did appreciate that he didn't kiss her until she asked, but the other ways he touched her and cornered her read as possessive and unromantic.
The big conflict is stupid.
The story was engaging—kept me flying through the pages. And now I'm dying to read Callum's brother Bridger's story, so that's something.

Cute!
I wasn’t sure what I would think of Calhum Hawk. He’s the serious workaholic brother. He’s still a workaholic, but I loved seeing him let go for Lexi. Good chemistry, fun conversations, and family members who love to tease each other.
I really enjoyed it!

Great
I really enjoyed this book, which was somewhat of a surprise to me. I like this author, but feel like the whole "billionaire romance" and "fake engagement" storylines have been WAY overdone. That being said, this story was very well written and engaging and I loved the main characters, particularly Lexi. I would definitely recommend this book.

MY TAKE
It's interesting that this is the second book I've read lately where the rich guy is paying the poor female main character for her company. This one also has the addition of him being her new boss.
Cal loves what his job and spends just about all his time handling it. As the oldest of Hawk sons, he's got a real older child complex and has carried it too far. When he first meets Lexi, it's by nearly running her over with his motorcycle when she slips on the ice while jogging. She recognizes him immediately but chooses to say nothing, so when he sees her at the office it's a surprise for him.
I wish the author had provided a scene from his POV between their first meeting and when he finally talks to her. Because he turns creepy really fast. Lexi is a bit of a dimwit around him (the physical attraction in the beginning is a little over the top but not as bad as in some romances), but his proposal to hire her as his fake fiancée finally sinks in--and she quits her job and storms out.
But when she gets home, she receives a phone call from her father that they've finally got a match for a kidney her mother so desperately needs. But they can't do it without proof the family can afford to pay.
This is totally a case of insta-love since they only know each other a few weeks (like 3-4) and they're declaring their undying love. But the characters are fun and what's not to love about the male love interest with money to burn. (That's not actually my thing, but I know tons of readers love it.)

Callum can't get the gorgeous blonde woman he almost hit from his mind. What's wrong with him, even Shirlene his assistant noticed a difference in him when she got to work. She also noticed the rip in his trousers. When he sees Lexi at his marketing meeting he is so gone, he runs into another of his employees and spills hot coffee down himself. When he tells Shirlene he needs to speak with Lexi in his office, she goes and pulls her from the meeting. What he talks to her about has Lexi walking out of the office, without her coat, and going home. What did he say? What makes her rethink what he said? Will she reconsider? Only one way to find out, read this great story by Cami Checketts!

Cami Checketts is great at creating a story I can't put down! I loved watching Callum and Lexi grow as their relationship grew. This workaholic Hawk brother didn't seem like someone who would be easy to love. Yet, his attraction to Lexi causes Callum to reexamine his priorities. Lots of laughs as the billionaire learns a little bit about farm life! I just wish his bothers could have heard about the experience. Great fuel for family teasing. Watching these 4 brothers interact together is so fun! Great to get a peek at other characters I have grown to love from previous stories. This book still works well as a stand-alone too. I am hoping Cami Checketts has a story about Lexi's sister... I am anxiously looking forward to the 4th Hawk brother's story which will be released in December.

The steamiest book I've read by Cami. Don't get me wrong, she kept the book clean, but I found myself blushing more than a few times. (No Sex scenes).
I' m getting a little fed up though with the fact that we people don't like something that someone does, they just up and leave and get on a plane or head out of town. It's happening far too often in romance books in general.
Other than that, the book was cute. I know that the book was mainly about her, but I would have liked a little more interaction with her and his sister-in-laws. I am surprised that they let him off the hook about being engaged and not having told anyone, but that's me being picky.

Great story, love the fact that family can and do work together to make a business work. The fact that Cal needed a fake fiancé to help him through his brothers wedding was a tell all that he is only a workaholic . Cal needed Lisa to help him and for that he helped her father and mother out by giving them the money to get medical help and help to run the farm. This was a Free read and a great one. HER BILLIONAIRE BOSS FAKE FIANCE by Cami Checketts is one of the most fun reads I've had in a while! It was pure joy reading this adorable romance story. I love the way Cal and Lexie meet and then meet again! And the whole fake fiance idea is too ridiculous to be real, but simply adorable and fun the way it played out. I'm confused about Cami's use of "cussing" someone, but that is probably a cultural difference of understanding a meaning rather than a misuse. It doesn't detract from the story in any way; in fact, I thought Cami's use of "cussing" someone was cute. I LOVED this story!

Too good to be True?
I love the Hawk Brothers. Just knowing I was invited to a Hawk Brothers wedding makes me glittery and happy I like everything about this book, but the cracks started poking through in the farm girl knowing and affording(even after the money gifting) the right clothing and makeup to stay two weeks amongst billionaires-no not resales. Just the little things didn’t click. But, the Hawk Brothers-they always click.

Granted that fake engagements require the reader to suspend logic, but generally speaking this was a nice story. I needed fluff. I felt like both of them were smarter and had more integrity than to do the fake fiancé move. I felt they both had too much at stake in their professional lives to involve work like that and while Callum was irritated with the family blind date thing, it was really just an inconvenience and not a big deal.

Great Story
This was a new to me author and I really enjoyed reading this story. I enjoyed reading about Lexi and Callum. I enjoyed seeing how they met and how he was able to realize that he actually was working too much, even though it finally took some wise words from his Dad in the end to get it through his thick skull what Lexi kept telling him all along. This was truly a great story.

A Cinderella love story
Lexi and Callum are a cute couple, although he is a complete workaholic billionaire in NYC and she is very much about her Montana dairy-farm family with huge medical bills. She is the woman who gets his atttention off of his phone, computer and business long enough to make human connections.
I bought a copy of this book in a collection boxset from Amazon and voluntarily chose to share my review.

Beautiful Story!
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I chose it because I wanted a good Christmas book to read. Wow! I was blown away by the way the words flowed, the characters were woven together and the plot was so great! It’s a great love story without having to skim over bad language to try and not let it seep in your brain!!

This was a lovely story with a realistic plot. The characters which led this story and held together everything which made up this novel were fantastic at what they set out to accomplish. If you would like to place yourself into a book, to become that character, then this is the novel for you.

Cami Checketts is an amazing author. I have loved all of her books. This one is a great fake to real fiance book. I love that it is different from the others where they both fight knowing the other's real intentions. Callum laid it all out there. This is a great clean, read that is totally worth the read. Enjoy!

Very heartwarming story.
Callum is a hardworking man. Everyone claims he is a workaholic. Lexi is given the opportunity to work for Callum's company. This could really help her career and also the money can help her family. An amazing situation happens that starts this story off.

A fun relationship of convenience story. I loved the way they met and just that whole first day together. It was pretty funny. The chemistry between them was instant. There were definitely some frustrating moments, but I loved Lexi's spunk and Cal's transformation.

I don't have the right words!!
I don't think I can come up with the right words for this book. I have really enjoyed the Hawk family SO VERY MUCH, but this book hit me hard. I know how hard it is to try to get your father to be proud of you.

Sweet Romance
I loved Callum’s story! He and Lexi are adorable. I thought her aversion to a workaholic was understandable, but her inability to call him out was silly. He was such a great guy! I’m excited to read Bridger’s story!
