Perfectly safe. Loved it. Only apart a few hours. Extended epilogue has them married and pregnant. Great read.

I loved this story between Devon and Lynn!!!
Can the person that you have “hated” for the past five years really be the love of your life!!
Devon and Lynn are always at each other’s throats calling each other every name they can think of. But is it really just a cover up for how they really feel about each other? And can one night of too many shots make them see each other in a new light? For Devon, he was already there. He knew how he felt about Lynn, it was just getting her to see him that way.

This is the story about Lynn Brent,,,, an attorney who is great at what she does,,, and she does it exceptionally great whenever she is up against business owner Devon Welton,,, be it an employee claim or a community member,,, she has loathed that man ever since she met him 5 years ago,,,, it's really complicated, there circle of friends,,,, Lynn is good friends with his little sister and Devon us friends with another friend her group hangs out with,,,, so even off duty, she sometimes has to see him in the social scene,,, and even then, she tries to one up Devon on anything there is,,,, say like shots lined up on the bar,,,,she really can't stand the man anywhere,,,, so, why is she waking up naked with him in his bed,,,,, this just can NOT be good,,,,, she needs to get out of there,,,, FAST,,, !!!

One Big Cover-Up
I enjoyed the read although there was not much of a storyline, no intrigue to keep you gripped. I liked Devon’s character but the sassy corporate lawyer Lynn was a bit of a trial and not really likeable. Lynn and Devon definitely loved to hate one another so a lot of angst in this book! 5 years of wasted time hating each other! Devon is the big shot ruthless business man and Lynn is his total nemesis! Too much lust and passion between them soars them into a circle of love and hate! Does Lynn feel what Devon feels? She takes no prisoners especially with Devon! And he likes that! Will she ever let Devon in to really see her? Why does she lie to herself? Irony is her protective shield! Can she keep running scared?

Ember Flint is a new to me author and I have to say WOW. I was hooked from the get go and loved every minute of this book. I really liked how the timeline was done. Lynn and Devon are fantastic characters that were easy to become engaged in. Their enemies to lovers story is well written and the fact that they fall in love is believable. The story is told in such a fashion that it feels unique and new. I am really happy to have found this author and look forward to reading more from them. The only negative, if you can call it that, is there were a couple of times I felt that the "sexy" times were to much. So that is my little warning to those that don't want to read a story filled with a lot of sex. If that is the case this one might not be right for you but if you are into a good story with likable characters and super hot yummy sexy times than this is the one for you.

Devon and Lynn can't stand each other, and that's according to Lynn. She finds him arrogant and quite the jerk in their circle of friends. Her best friend Jane is married to his friend and business lawyer. His sister is one of her close and trusted friends. Devon, on the other hand, has always been in love with Lynn since the very first day he met her. Taking his confidence as overly zealous, Lynn can't help the desire to put him in his place and bring him down a notch at every point and turn. One night, they let loose and find the base of what they truly feel for one another and this leads them on a journey of discovery together. Worthy!

A phenomenal read! Beautifully written, well-developed and heart melting! It is drama-filled, funny, and witty; a fun fast pace page-turner with some ups and downs; the writing is fluid and the story flows smoothly. Amazing characters who are just perfect for each other; the chemistry between them is intense and hot with sparks so explosive they will melt your kindle. Quite an enjoyable read and I have no regrets taking the time to read this book and I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Devon and Lynn pretty much hate each other. At least Lynn hates Devon. Devon realized a long time ago that he really wanted Lynn. Over 5 agonizing years he has to wait for her to realize her feelings. One night over shots everything changes. Devon is all in but Lynn can't remember the night. She is more cautious and less willing to jump on board. Devon does not hold back. He does not give her room to pull back. Cute story with a lot of sexy scenes. Very quick read. There are multiple epilogues to finish out their HEA.

I loved this book from the opening scene to the flashbacks and build up to the same scene. I loved him so much! I could feel the emotion jumping off the page and I read with great anticipation hoping that she would soon realize what a great person he was. The author drew me in from the amazing connection these two characters had from beginning to end. I laughed, cried and rejoiced. Wonderful story.

If you are looking for a sweet, over the top funny and sassy girl read then this is the one you want. I really enjoyed reading about Devon and Lynn and their antics make you groan and sigh. Their attraction once it is acknowledged by both sides is instant and firecracker hot. Can't wait for more of the rest of the gang.

5 years of frustration and hatred comes to an end when one night of shots turns into a steamy night for Lynn and Devon. Strong willed lawyer secretly crushes hot shot CEO but will they give in to temptation? Their banter between the 2 leads to plenty of laughs and to think the big strong guy is a softy when it comes to Lynn is adorable. He melts for her!

The beginning was quite interesting for me and gave me a bit of a nice surprise.

I absolutely fell in love with the characters in this book. Lynn and Devon where so whitty and I loved the interplay between them. The story line is well written. I really enjoyed this book.
