Just finished reading Heavy Load. Loved the author’s style of writing. In taking me on a journey to Australia’s country out west I am still enthralled by the mix of feelings I experienced reading this book - from sadness for the historical account of the survivors of the Vietnam war to the warmth of the love story and the inspiring survival and overcoming of addiction. I am so looking forward to the next book... And I hope the author will continue with the main character Ed Costigan, whom I’ve grown to quite like...😊
