Finding Joy: My Life as an Adoptee
For an adopted child, the subconscious mind holds the secrets of the past, and to a great degree, foretells the future of the adult adoptee.
The writing of my memoir unlocked memories and deep-seated feelings that had been hidden in my subconscious mind for over six decades. This was an incredibly painful journey, but one that provided answers to the questions I’d never thought to ask.
If you are an adult adoptee, as you read my story, I encourage you to ask yourself the questions you never knew needed answering. Seek your own truths and discover the wounded child within; for it is only then that we can begin to heal.

She majored in Fine Arts at the University of KY and began writing in 2000.
