Finding Joy: My Life as an Adoptee

Rate this book
For an adopted child, the subconscious mind holds the secrets of the past, and to a great degree, foretells the future of the adult adoptee.
The writing of my memoir unlocked memories and deep-seated feelings that had been hidden in my subconscious mind for over six decades. This was an incredibly painful journey, but one that provided answers to the questions I’d never thought to ask.
If you are an adult adoptee, as you read my story, I encourage you to ask yourself the questions you never knew needed answering. Seek your own truths and discover the wounded child within; for it is only then that we can begin to heal.
“Being adopted is not an excuse;
it is the answer.”

Thank you for your story!

I am an adoptee. Your life story was truly a blessing to be able to read about. It helps me understand my own experiences in my life journey of making sense from the world of being adopted.
