Words cannot express how much this series has meant to me. The author really knows how to build a world, and create characters that become family to you. I will definitely recommend this series to others because it is unique and amazing.

This is it! Each book has been building up to this moment! The moment when we, the readers, learn just how everything came to be as it has been since the very first book. The why and the how is both so very bittersweet and poignant! This last book with break your heart, and the cracks will just keep coming 💔 This series is one of my very favorites ever. Nivian, Kain, Holter, Caspian and Silas have been characters that have buried themselves so deeply into places within my heart and mind. I've watched them dream and I've watched them mourn. I've seen the weight of decisions bare down upon them because keeping the balance is worth any price. I've suffered along beside them as love has forever changed them and changed the paths that they have tread upon. I'm filled with sorrow to see the end here, but since it's really the beginning, it's an excellent reason to begin the series all over again! Ali Winters is beyond brilliant! Her imagination and world building is so unlike any other author I have read. I really cannot compare her as she is a jewel like no other. She takes these themes and creates utter magic that whisks her readers away into worlds beyond what we have known before. I can't wait to see what adventure she next takes us away upon 💝💝💝

This is by far one of the best series I’ve listened to.
The detail, the descriptions, the emotions... Everything was put into this story and more.
The characters were amazing, especially Nivian and Kain. I would’ve loved to have seen more of him in this book because he was adorable.
I highly recommend this series to all Fantasy/Paranormal readers.

Even though this book was pretty sad I think it’s my favorite of the series.
I love Caspian and really felt bad for him and the situation he found himself in. His is a story of forbidden love and heartbreak.
His story holds the answers to all the burning questions most of us likely had throughout the series.
My heart broke when the reason why Nevian can’t remember her past is revealed.
I felt many emotions throughout their story and definitely needed a few tissues.
If you’re dying to find out how it all started this would be the book to read or listen to.

Strictly speaking this is a prequel, and it was awesome. I love that the author left this as the final book of the series. It means that you get the mystery and tension of not knowing what has happened, just like the rest of the characters. Now, with this book, we get to fill in all the gaps about the history surrounding the dissension.
I loved this. This whole series was fantastic, highly recommend! And if you can get the audio, it’s well worth your audible credits.

This book is The book I have been waiting for! This series has all been fantastic but i feel like we didn’t get all the answers. But we finally got the answers here! We learn all about each character and I loved it. It was sad at times but mostly is was just nice to get everyone back stories.

This book is all about why every thing happened. I enjoyed this series this might have been my least favourite in the series but it was still good.
The narration through out the entire series had been great, however this was the first time that I picked up on an error at almost the end of chapter 24. Again the narration was great and kept me wanting more

Loved the story as it was narrated well and finally gave us a glimpse into the past! I went into this story excepting a continuation from book 3 but was pleasantly surprised when it began with "the beginning " between Silas and Eva then the Reapers and Hunters, including the characters we've come to love so much! I seriously can't wait to see what happens with Nivian and Kain!

This is the 4th installment to this series. While I’m sad that it came to a end I’m happy to have finally gotten some backstory. For me, this book was more of a prequel. It details how everything happened between Eva and Silas and how Nivian came to be.
The narrator was great and I’m hoping for more as I love this world and not ready to let go.

Wow what a read this is the ending of this book series. This series has been building up to this last book and is a amazing read that will have you hooked from the first page tell the end. The writing flow is amazing.

This is the book we have all been waiting for! The book that will answer all your questions that have been building up and show you what happened to make things the way they are. I have so enjoyed this series! The writing is flawless and the narration is just perfect!

Wow, I’m so confused, I’m not sure who is on what side here now. So many twists these books will have you guessing all the way to the end by the looks of it. Great narration.

This was a prequel to the other three books in the series to help tie up loose ends. The narration was strong for this book as it was with the others.

The narration was great. Her voice fit the story well. Nice tone and emotion. I’d recommend listening.
I like the world this story is set in, and I’ve really enjoyed all the previous books. Love Nivian! The thing is, I’m not a huge fans of prequels; I find them sad because I know how much of a struggle these characters have to go through. Reading about the past and what happened to Nivian just depresses me; all that lost time because of someone else’s stupid actions. With that said, it was great to get Nivian’s origin story of sorts. It’s always great to get more of Kane and her! Also, I really enjoyed seeing more about how Nivian and Caspian came together. There’s lots of Silas and Yeva in this book, which they aren’t my favorite, but still interesting. The writing is great and the whole idea for this series is unique. I’d recommend reading the previous stories first, so you can have that deeper connection with the characters. The story is still interesting and any fan of this series should give this story a chance. This series as a whole is wonderful and I really enjoyed it.

Yeva created a guardian named Nivien who was different from all others. Her power was very strong, even though she was unaware.
This book is part of the series that tells of Silas and how and why he captured Yeva. It's a good story full of twists and turns. Very well wtitten.
