First, I want to thank Lynn Hammond for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
I will be blunt with you readers I was hesitant to read The Chaplain: Discovering Love Again Book 3 by Lynn Hammond. Prior to reading this book you may want to read the others in the series to get to know the characters and story lines. In this book many familiar faces return and you get updates their storylines. However, I was heartbroken over the loss over the beloved character Darcy in the last book. I didn’t know how I was going to move on and get over it. Not to mention I didn’t know how could make the story go on without her. However, I ended up taking a chance and reading it. I admit I adore how Lynn kept Darcy’s spirit alive in this book. It helped me and Malcom’s character move on from her death.
This book brought out a lot of emotion in me as it dealt with a lot of difficult subjects like finding out the man you are getting married to is already married, mourning the loss of your wife, baby daddy getting out of jail, kidnapping, letting go and moving after a loss, car accident, finding love again, inlaws who accuse you of moving on too fast, etc.
I enjoyed getting to know Nova and her NASCAR lifestyle. It was interesting to watch her relationship with Malcom bloom into something special. They sure did have their up and down moments in this book. They also had some amazing chemistry!!
My heart melted when Emma called Malcom Daddy!! I love that little girl!! I am a huge fan of Disney so When they all cuddled up and watched Disney that brought a smile to my eyes.
This book had a bit of mystery and action to it when they couldn’t find Emma and I loved that part of it. Not that someone took her but there was that aspect of mystery in the story.

I loved this!
What a great way to end the series. It was so touching to see Malcom and the kids get a happy ending! What a great outcome.
PS. I loved the part at the very end of the book about Emma and Beck! How exciting!

I read this book in paperback and it's the 3rd. amazing book in this series. This book like the others has sadness but perseverance. From sad to happy!! Malcom looses his true love after childbirth. Left with two children and a broken heart, how can he keep going? He is a race car driver and meets Nova. She is a race car driver also and this is their story. This author tugs at all of your feelings in this book. She knows how to hook you by the first few pages. Amazing book and a must read!!!

I loved this story so much!! Malcom and Nova are so cute together! The twists in this book I didn't see coming! My only question is what happened to Holden? That is the only conflict we didn't hear much about. Still a 5 star read for me!! Love Linkin and Emma with her cute self.

Best book of Series
Loved this book. Myriad of emotions as I read. Spoiler alert... Malcom lost his love, and fought the urge to love another... Link and Sophia continue to be in his life, but is it enough???

As this series has progressed, not only have the characters developed deeper, Lynn has grown as an author as well. While sticking to how she likes her stories, she has added more to that emotional connection between the characters. I can feel what the characters feel as they interact with each other, right to the point while getting that... well UMPH! Right to the chest.
I’ve come to really root for Malcolm, and my heart broke after what happened with Darcy, so I needed there to be a HEA for him. Enter Nova, all sass with a tender heart, she pushed Malcolm back to the land of the living, and loved his children as her own. True to their narrative, they raced to the checkered flag, and all the heartache that comes with it, was well worth the delays along the way.

I enjoyed reading Discovering Love Again, revisiting favorite characters from Books 1 & 2, and seeing the series come to a happy ending. I loved seeing both Malcom and Linkin find happiness and peace despite dealing with Darcy's heartbreaking legacy. A new character, Nova, added just the right amount of forward movement and the impetus to help Malcom move on, and the children gave the book a realistic feel. Discovering Love Again has a good mix of tension and romance that you'll enjoy.

A beautiful story with lots of suspense. This has to be my favorite so far in this series and it's an intensely emotional journey. This one has an HEA that will make you smile through your tears. I can't wait for Emma's story! A must read. Book 3 in the series and I highly recommend you read in order.
