Clint Clay is a true gentleman of the west who believes in the cowboy code and riding true to the brand. It seems he was born on a horse, for he has had them all his life never remembering a time he was without them. The author enjoys team roping and trail riding across the American landscape. He visits locations across America to ride the beautiful trails that still exist in many parks and private ranches that occupy the United States.
He loves to team rope with his pards and owns some of the best horses in the country. He and his beautiful bride have a small ranch that is nestled down in the southeastern part of Kansas near the mighty Neosho River. They are native of this area and have raised a wonderful family.
He has several best sellers. His nom de plume is Clint Clay with the first under that name being Bounty Hunter for Hire which remains a best seller.
He has numerous books published in the western genre both poetry and fictional stories. He loves both and has always been an abet reader of westerns. His favorite writer Louis L’Amour has been influential to him. There are many other writers out there that he loves, and he doesn’t always read westerns.
Clint feels it’s the experience of really feeling the wind on one’s face, hearing the squeak of saddle leather, and really being in the elements that helps his creative writing.

Great story

I strife to provide the western readers with entertaining, action filled tales. This one is obviously inspired from Judge Issac Parker and the Lawmen he sent to bring in the most dangerous outlaws.
As you read through these stories presented in Hang Em High you the western reader will be given the opportunity to see how the dots connect from one of my western adventures to another. In these stories one sees how small the vast western frontier really is as these men come together to tame the untamed west.
I believe that those who love westerns will love this books romantic appeal that is always an underlying current.
Hang Em High is the first book that starts a series of stories. In those stories United States Marshal Matthew Lock is assigned to bring law and order to the worst places in the west. He is given an elite team of law offices to help him pursue the notorious outlaws. Follow this book with United States Marshal Matthew Lock and look for the completed version to be released later this year by Dusty Saddles Publishing. Lock and his posse are sent all over the country to bring in the worst of the worst. He will later join forces with Texas Ranger Harry Calhoun on a special case. so look for Texas Ranger Harry Calhoun to be released in the up coming weeks as well.
