Charlie is a miserable loser who thinks he has hit rock bottom, but an irrational act of kindness shown to a drowning fly will change that. Through their kindred insignificance and suffering, man and fly will share a peculiar bond with their fates forever intertwined. Such a gift comes with a price. Charlie’s struggle will cause him to question whether it’s a blessing, a curse, or just a sad cosmic joke. The nature of this dark boon rests upon the shoulders of a broken man, and what he does with it will take him down a path from which he may never return. What harm could come from something as insignificant and innocuous as a fly?
I really liked this book! Quick read. Fast paced, well developed characters, spot-on dialog. You know it's a good read when the author is able to play a movie in your head! I am not going to get into what the book is about. I would have been disappointed if someone had spoiled it for me. Just read it. You will be glad u did!
