Hero was extremely beta but I liked him and the heroine. This was a cute story with a lot of humor. For me the pacing seemed a bit slow.

Este libro podría ser una película de comedia romántica, de esas que se ven los domingos a la tarde.
Tiene una premisa divertida, protagonistas queribles, personajes odiosos y situaciones ridículas, todo envuelto en la excusa de una boda.
Maddy necesita pareja para ir al casamiento de su hermana y, como su vida social no le permitió conocer a nadie, decide pedirle a Bob, el chico que entrega paquetes a su casa, que se haga pasar por su novio.
La trama es líneal y, habiendo leído otras historias de fake-date, es fácil saber a dónde va a terminar esta. Eso no le quita diversión, hay personajes secundarios que le suman a la lectura: las damas de honor que se enamoran o la familia de Maddy que va evolucionando.
Personalmente, me gustó que Josie, la amiga de la protagonista aparezca de manera constante, temía que fuese a servir para avanzar la trama al comienzo y luego dejarla olvidada, fue una sorpresa ver una amistad sana entre dos mujeres.
No es un libro super profundo, pero es divertido y maneja bien ciertos cliché que normalmente se reservan para el mundo del fanfiction.

The book promises us a fake-dating love story and that's what we get. It's fun and easy to read.
It has an awfull family, a lesbian maid of honor and a crazy ex. Everything you might found in a weekend's comedy.
My only real complain it's that the end feels a little rushed, a few more pages would be great but since the main conflict happens in two days, it seems on line with that.

This was a cute clean Rom-com. Maddy is the CEO of a tech company and doesn't have a date to her sisters fancy wedding and shes the Maid of Honor. She doesn't have time to really go and look for a date as shes always working. At the last minute when her dress is being delivered, she checks out the UPS driver Bob,he is HOT. Maddy asks Bob to be her Fake Boyfriend for the weekend at the wedding, he says OK and the story begins. Cute read.

Hot Fake Date by Leigh James was a fun book! Her family was so crazy! I’ve met a lot of super quirky wealthy people but no one as crazy as her Mom, Dad , sister and their rich friends. Roberto was a sexy Italian UPS driver and he agreed when she asked him to be a fake date to her sisters wedding that weekend. He had no idea what he was getting into with that crazy family. It was a good book with a great happy ever after!

Meh
it was ok, not really for me though. Story was ok, was funny in places but the things that didn't do it for me are it was a clean romance, not what I'm looking for and i can't really get behind a hero called Bob lol, his full name was Roberto, Rob would have been more acceptable.

Great Plot but no spice?
I love Leigh James that why I chose this book. I was disappointed when I got to the end and there was no spicy scenes. There was talk about the spice but no spice which was very disappointing but the plot was great and had awesome potential for spice. Just disappointed.

Another great read from Leigh
Awesome ...not the usual story line ..but differently nice ...missed all the usual steamy action lol :):) but a really good and quick read, love the happy ever after ... read it in less than 48 hours 👍🏼🙌🏻😄😄

After reading Liberty Series, Royals and the Escorting Series from Leigh James ( which were excellent reads) this book didn't have the depth like the other books mentioned. Still a nice light read though.

I loved it. It was very good read, I really enjoyed the dinamic and the characters. I really love all your books. I really loved if you write a book about Josie.

As Advertised!
Definitely a fun and romantic book, with lots of humor and witty flair. Slightly disappointed that it's lacking intimate scenes as this author does write them very well.

This was a hot, funny, cute read. I'm a big series person so I don't usually mess with stand alone books but Leigh has never failed me. This is a book you read while sitting outside under a shaded tree and sipping wine. It's a light and quick read that will make you laugh out loud.

Madison is a very successful business woman who does not date regularly. When her sister sets a date for her wedding, Maddy finds out she is in the wedding party. Her mother tells her to bring a date. So what is she supposed to do? Well she has a weekly delivery from a very hot UPS driver, so she decides to ask him.
His name is Roberto but goes by Bob and he has an ex girlfriend who is getting married. Unfortunately, she is pestering the heck out of him.
There are a lot of things Maddy doesn't
know about Bob but will eventually find out.
