This a non-fiction piece about a visit some friends and I made to haunted Ashmore Estates. As a warning, this story involved trespassing on the property prior to when the current owners taking control of the building. If you wish to visit the property to try and have a haunted experience, please reach out on their facebook page or attend one of their events. The current owners have restored this historical site and have it heavily watched and will prosecute anyone that trespasses.

Hello, the name is Ty and I’m an emerging writer and author. I take my storytelling ability and apply it to creating stories of horror and science fiction, along with writing about the world around me. I utilize my degrees in both Journalism and English to develop works that leave my readers and engaged and ready to read more.

My creative works have appeared in The WiFiles and I have self-published a collection of short stories called A Monstrous Tomorrow. Additionally, I have written on the music scene in the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois area for the online publication Smile Politely.

When I’m not busy dreaming up new horrors, fantastical worlds, or catching the latest show, I can be found relaxing with my wife and two dogs. If we’re not spotted out on a walk with the pups, we can be found in the gym, reading together, gaming with friends on Xbox, or playing some D&D.
