Oh, this was so cute! From the cover and blurb, you could think this was another arrogant doctor that thinks the worlds revolves around him. But it's so not true! This is the cutest ever! Troy was a gentleman and oh so cute, sweet and loving!

A sweet, albeit short read with Insta-feels. The chemistry between the characters was electric and I loved their dynamics. A bit of drama, hurt feelings and feel good vibes kept me interested and wanting to see how it worked out.
Fantastic epilogue! Definitely a good, easy read.

Summer’s best friend, Mia, was stuffing her into a too-small dress that prevented adequate breathing as she pulled tighter on the built-in corset! Mia had set her up with a blind date, a great guy she knew in college. Summer had not dated for two years since her ex-husband Jamie walked out on her, so Mia decided this date was a long time overdue! Mia dropped her off at the restaurant and drove off, urging her to focus on having fun. But as soon as she walked in, she realized the problem – she didn’t know what her date looked like, and didn’t even know his name! Feeling like an idiot and about to call Mia, her skin prickled and she looked up into the eyes of the most gorgeous man she had ever seen! He stood up and walked toward her with a smile, asking her to join him. After asking her name, he introduced himself as Troy and asked about her profession. He seemed interested when she told him she was a nurse. But the check arrived before he could tell her about his job and where he worked.
After spending the night at Troy’s house when she fell asleep watching a movie – Troy sleeping on the couch while putting her in his bed – Summer returned home and mentioned Troy to Mia. Mia thought she had been drunk since her date’s name was “Kenny”. But Mia had to rush off to work before she could get more details. When Monday arrived, Summer and Cassidy, the head nurse, were in the breakroom at the hospital getting coffee. But the lid was stuck and, as Summer struggled with it, a familiar voice offered his help. Summer kept asking why he was there, not believing he truly did work there! Not only at the same hospital, but a surgeon in Pediatrics where Summer worked! This was going to be very distracting! Yet it wasn’t. He was easy to work with and be around. He really cared for his patients, just as she did. But she was getting too close and the fear of being hurt and betrayed again made her push him away. Would she lose this wonderful man who showed kindness and understanding in the way he dealt with everything? Was the fear so great that she could never chance love again?
It was wonderful seeing the interaction between Summer and Troy. They were so comfortable with each other and so perfect. This was a fun story line, lots of humor and caring, and the well-paced story was a really good one. I definitely recommend this book. A little extra editing would make it perfect. But you’ll love the story right from the start!

I really like reading this book. I enjoy books where one of the main character have to overcome something that devastated them in order to move forward. Sometime that can look like an impossible feat when someone has totally demolished your trust and taken a jackhammer to your heart.
The story starts out with Summer being forced out on a blind date by her best friend Mia. After Mia gets her fixed up she takes Summer to the restaurant and drops her off. The one thing Mia did not do was tell Summer the name of the date she set her up with. She was standing at the hostess stand waiting for the girl to return when a very handsome man catches her eye. He comes up to her and sweet talks her into having supper with her. Troy thought she was the most beautiful woman that he had very seen and he couldn’t let a woman that beautiful eat alone. They spent their time talking, Afterwards he took her to his apartment letting her change into his PJ’s to get comfortable for the movie. He wanted to take things slowly with her; he could since that she was anxious and wanted her to relax.
He didn’t know how much Summer’s ex-husband had done to hurt her and it took a while for him to find out while the were on a date and she saw her ex with another woman and slowly Troy got the truth out of her. It took every thing he had to keep from confronting the man.
Troy and Summer had been dating a while they did have and things seemed perfect until she went to a bar one night to meet Mia and saw Troy there with another woman. How was he going to fix this situation with Summer. Then Troy finds out he is being transferred with everything that has happen what will Summer do? This is a really good book I read it in one day and that in itself should say how much I enjoyed it and I know you will two. It is a wonderful love story.

Heartwarming!
Her best friend Mia nudges her into going on a blind date, and Summer can’t believe that she’s falling for this man that she’s just met. Enter Dr. Troy Sharpe, the epitome of gorgeous and among other things, a keen sense of humor. He’s exactly what Summer needs to bring her out of the doldrums when it comes to men and relationships.
I’m not a fan of the workplace romance, because so many things can go wrong, but in nurse Summer and Troy’s case, I'm all for it as she literally keeps accidentally falling into his arms on several occasions throughout the book. When Troy gets a letter of transfer to another hospital, he decides to open his own practice and Summer comes with him, a risky but smart move that I totally agreed with. Not only do they make a handsome couple but as colleague’s they’re quite an amazing pair as is attested to by their patients’. Their friendly banter is delightful, there are a few sizzling moments and even though Troy’s a jilted lover as well, he doesn’t give up on Summer.
The most heartfelt moment for me is when I learn why Summer chose to stay away from relationships. Her ex-husband, Jamie was living it up with the flavor of the month as Summer lay in a hospital bed undergoing chemotherapy. Their paths inadvertently cross and blows are exchanged as Troy defends Summer’s honor. Jamie finally gets his comeuppance and Troy becomes an instant hero.
This book is a light read with a few heartbreaking moments, but overall there are more hilarious and swoon worthy moments than there are sad ones. The characters are adorable, no cliffhangers and Summer gets her HEA ending. A definite recommend.

This was a great book. It starts with a stubborn friend taking her BFF duties to heart and setting her broken friend, Summer, up with an old friend from college. Well Summer is so down from her previous divorce that when she arrives to the restaurant, she doesn't know who she is there to meet as she had forgotten to ask her BFF the name of her blind date. Thankfully, this is where Troy, the handsome surgeon, comes into play. He sees her and decides to invite her to dinner, and she thinks this is her blind date. Note, Troy, is also broken from a previous relationship, but is determined to mend Summer’s heart along with his one way or another. Of course, as always, the past has to come in and interfere with what is going on, but they prevail. This is my first Nikki Bloom's book and I have to say I like her style and I am eager to get my hands on something else from her.

Summer is a pediatric nurse who was severely hurt by her ex husband several years ago. He really hurt her by divorcing her under terrible circumstances and she doesn't trust any man. She meets Troy when she mistakes him for her blind date and has a really good time with him. Then she finds out he is the new pediatric surgeon at her hospital and feels betrayed he didn't tell her on their date. They have a lot of ups and downs, some misunderstandings, and some tearful critical patients to deal with. Their chemistry is poignant. And both of their ex's make appearances to cause drama. It's a good story, very good editing. I just felt like it was a little rushed and if the characters could have been fleshed out a little more and the story a bit longer, it would have been 5 stars.

Summer, a nurse meets Troy on a blind date arranged by her friend. Although Troy was not the actual blind date she should have met. Summer met Troy again when she went to work the next day as he was a new surgeon at the hospital she worked at. Summer tried to fight her attraction to Troy as she had been badly hurt by her ex husband. Eventually the chemistry was too strong to resist. I did enjoy the story but was a little confused at the end. Did they set up their own practice or not? Also would have liked to know what happened to the little girl they treated together at the hospital. Read an ARC for an honest review.

I enjoyed reading this novelette about Troy and Summer. Summer is set-up by her best friend on a blind date. When she arrives at the restaurant she catches Troy eyeing her, thinking he is her blind date. They have a enjoyable date and the next day she finds out he's the new doctor working in the same unit she does as a nurse. Troy asks her out again. Does Summer who's been hurt by her ex-husband where she doesn't trust men and relationships give Troy a chance to show that he's not like her ex-husband? The only negative in this story is I felt Summer was too insecure in the beginning, but loved the characters Troy and Cassidy the head nurse. I volunteer to read and review this ARC.

An enjoyable quick warm second chance romance. This well written story of two broken people that needed to learn trust and love again thru some misunderstanding, drama with an ex, tearful work related patients, lots of ups and downs, and sizzling chemistry. It was a well moving storyline with playful banter, lightly touching and seductive whispering slowly breaking down barriers leading to a sweet romance with some hot sexy scenes. I loved that Troy and Summer meet by mistaken identity confirming destiny/fate when they ended up working together at the same hospital.

Sincerely Summer by Nikki Bloom is a romance that gives you the perfect example of of her talent and creativity. Imagine going on a blind date and not knowing his name... That is alright, because this is one woman, that has unbeknownst to her, met her HEA. I encourage all romance junkies, like myself, to follow along as Troy pulls out all of stops to get Summer, the woman of his dreams (forever). I truly adored every word of this release and I am sure that you will too.

Mia means well but when she forgets to tell Summer the name of her date, well anything can happen. Troy seeing Summer standing looking around and he thought wow. Troy approaches and Summer had already seen him and thought he was great hoping he was her blind date.

Summer and Troy meet on a blind date. They both have been wronged in precious relationships by their ex's. Both are weary about beginning a new relationship. They work in the same hospital so they run into each other. The chemistry between the 2 of them builds and they get together. It was awesome seeing them overcome previous heartbreak and trust issues to be together and learn to love again!!!

Summer and Troy are really a hot and unforgettable couple. Both had experienced previous relationship disasters, but were willing to try to build a relationship with each other. However Summer did need some encouragement. This book had an interesting storyline with characters you have to love. First time read with this author, but definitely not the last. Good read!

This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster. The characters are well-developed, strong, deep, sweet, and are good together. The story is well written, action-packed with ups and downs and excitement. Loveable characters - the chemistry between Summer and Troy is instant, off the charts, and undeniable. This story pulls you in and leaves you wanting more. Definitely recommended.

I really enjoyed reading this book!! The story was well written, and didn’t feel like I was reading the same old storyline some other authors tend to lean towards!!!!! This story plot touched on so many emotions! The story felt realistic in someway!! I loved all the characters in the book!! Troy and Summer relationship was heart warming!!! That book is like a Fairy tale : Cute , passionate , beautiful characters . Summer is a nurse , who had lived trough a really bad marriage . In a blind date organized by Mia , Summer's best friend , met Troy . Handsome and fascinating , she doesn't know yet that he is a surgeon , that will be working with her in the same hospital . This a sweet story with an happy ending .

This is a sweet and sometimes sad story. This might have been better if it was a little longer to spend more time with all of Summer’s issues and more information about Troy. And I couldn’t figure out how she would go on a blind date and not know the guy’s name? Of course, it worked out okay. Good for a few hours of reading.

Summer allows herself to get set up with a blind date, where she meets Troy. Only to find out that Troy is the new surgeon at the same hospital where she is a nurse. These two try to deny the chemistry between them. This is a well written, light hearted read, which had me hooked and intrigued throughout. I look forward to reading more from this talented author, and highly recommend for all readers.

Summer has been hurt in the past. She has been single for two years and her friend Mia sets her up on a blind date. In a cute incident of mistaken identity Summer mistakes Troy as her blind date. What happens on the journey is sweet, caring and healing. I really enjoyed this read and look forward to Nikki Blooms next book.

I loved the sweet romance between Summer and Troy. Both had fragile hearts and were hesitate to gamble on love again. But chemistry is a strong factor and it sure helps in the decision process. Sincerely, Summer is the story of Summer and Troy. They meet on a blind date (sort of) and hit it off. Later, they meet again at work. The author does a good job of fleshing out the characters so the reader becomes privy to their flaws and foibles. This is an adult romance with a good plot and HEA ending, well-written and no cliffhangers.

A sweet sweet romance - just how they used to be
Oh this is such a sweet and heartfelt romance that really took me back to when a romance Novel really was romantic and with a baddie to boot too.
But please don't be put off......the sexy times are NOT old school - there's enough heat to set the fire alarm off!
