One bonfire night Oliver and his wife Chloe drive up to the top of Barr Beacon to watch the fireworks. It is their first night out together since their infant daughter was born and they take the opportunity to rekindle the spark in a marriage that is in decline. During an intimate moment between the couple, a mysterious man with a gun decides to sit down on the back seat. The man with the gun holds Oliver and Chloe captive in their own car and forces Chloe to drive around Birmingham with no destination in mind.
